Something Psychic This Way Comes (Nightmare Catch-All)
The people of Union have had an odd week. While it was nice to cap things off with the knowledge that Gigas is not going to try and invade them again (for now), the population has had to deal with a different sort of intruder. Namely, Abra. Abra teleporting anywhere and everywhere. Abra teleporting places to try and hide.
Absolutely terrified Abra. To say nothing of the dreams the city's Psychic-types have discussed.
And now, as a new week dawns...the nightmares spread to everyone. Without exception. Perhaps you're fortunate and things that go bump in the night don't frighten you, but sleeping brings a sense of dread, and a hazy vision of a world in ruins. Night after night after night. The first one is horrifying for shock value. The next few are horrifying because they won't stop.
How will you deal? Where will you go, in the middle of the night, if you're the sort who tries to clear their heads? Will you share what you've been experiencing or keep it to yourself?
No matter what you do, the nightmares continue. And the Abra continue to shiver.
[[ This is a catch-all post/mingle for people wanting to react to their weird nightmares! As mentioned here, they have now spread to the entire population. Players are welcome to continue making their own posts addressing the nightmares if they prefer. ]]

[ Don't worry, though, Orihime. Veronica was frowning before you ran into her, too. In fact, now that she's determined what ran into her, she's returning to scanning the area for any actually dangerous disturbances. ]

Wha... Rest sta...tion...
[It takes a moment for the words to sink in. When they do, she starts giggling helplessly. A rest station!]
Ah...ah ha ha ha ha! That's hilarious!
[Because she was resting! She might be laughing a little harder than she would have normally. Seriously, she's so tired. When she calms, she bows apologetically.]
Sorry. I can't seem to keep my eyes open.

Oh, er...not too far, but I haven't really been able to sleep well.
[She pinches her cheeks and puts on the best smile she can manage.]
...Are you watching the Abras too?
no subject
[ ...no. No, she is not.
But she might be now. ]

[But the command is crisp and difficult to ignore, and she finds herself hesitantly doing what Veronica asked.]
Well...they're showing up all over the city. And they're really scared about something. They didn't say what.
[Mostly because they're gone before Orihime can get half the question out of her mouth.]
So I thought, maybe they're having nightmares too. I think lots of people are having them. Half of my class can barely stay awake.

[ This leaves Veronica with a very worried and tired civilian out wandering around bumping into people. She crosses her arms behind her back. ] And you think wandering around in that condition can help them?
[ Too pointed. She modifies her tone, softens it. This girl is just trying to help her friends. But Veronica doesn't want people accidentally endangering themselves, either. ] Go home. Try to rest.

[She just thought wandering around would keep her awake so she wouldn't have to go back to sleep. The nightmares are too frequent, and too scary. Getting some rest is the absolute last thing she wants to do!]
[But this woman seems so nice, she doesn't want to worry her. So she lies.]
I guess you're right. Sorry again for bumping into you.
[Orihime bows politely and turns to keep going. Sooner or later she'll have to sleep, she knows. But if the nightmares don't let up, there's no way she can consider any part of that sleep 'restful.' And she'll be a zombie again.]

[ Veronica will watch Orihime leave to make sure she's capable of getting herself home in that condition. Just in case. ]
