Video + Action in Union
[Action]
[It was a long hike back, and Rose spent the night in the medical center. Her wounds were such that they wanted to keep an eye on her. While Enlightened healing powers can do a lot, she is still on the mend. She looks it, too; she has a blue button-up shirt on, but the white bandages along her torso for her broken ribs are visible where the sleeves end and near her neckline.]
[Not to mention her left arm, which is in a sling, and black and blue bruises on her face. She looks like she's seen better days. But, she's out, and she has a mind to take a walk. Unfortunately... she doesn't really have the energy for it.]
[So about halfway through the walk, Rose is sitting down on a bench along one of Union's roads, trying to rest. Behind her, a Blaziken is fussing -- Efreet, who evolved on the way home.]
[Eventually, Rose does get back to the Tycoon estate. She's resting, then, but the room is visible behind her when she flips on the warp band. She smiles down at it; her face is a bit less puffy, now. Enlightened healing is a thing.]
Hey, everybody. So... that got intense, huh?
How's everyone holding up?

[ There's a light pat for Eihwaz's shoulder - he now towers over his human, though it is clear he treats her with much respect and shares a great deal of mutual affection. The smile is then returned, though quick to fall. She is no empath but Sophia doesn't need to be to see how much pain Rose is in.
Lifting her left hand, palm up and fingers curled slightly, a rose rose-coloured light begins to form. ]
May I?
no subject
Sure. You don't mind? I don't wanna put you out.
[She hesitates, then adds:] ...You know the fight I'm talking about? I guess everyone does by now.
no subject
..It's the least I can do. You're not putting me out at all.
I was in the command center. [so, yes, she knows the fight in question]

[If she has the command center right, at least. She looks pleased, as she feels the healing settle in. She might be used to it, after the medical center, but she's comfortable with it.]
I never expected anything like that in there.

[her tone is quiet, even as the glow coats her hand entirely, and she settles next to Rose on the bench as she concentrates on projecting it towards her as she was taught. It pulses in waves, slow and steadily soothing, rather than a fixed beam.]
I don't think the Seekers had expected it either.. Gigas and its methods are truly abhorable.
I'm told another was injured badly as well. The Seekers see to their own of course, but.. [but no one was killed, is heard in her sigh of relief] What was it like? To see in person?

[She shakes her head. She knew Ryuko was hurt... and hadn't had a chance to see her or do much. She's spent her time, well, recovering. She looks at Sophia, considering how to answer.]
Scary. That's the best word for it.
I'm not scared often. I mean... nervous, sure. But that's the scariest thing I've ever seen.

They've always been insular, as best as I have been able to learn. I fear that in the haste of our action to aid the Seekers, we have squandered further chances to learn more of them. [About and from them. But, lest Rose think otherwise:] ..But I do not think we were wrong to act, even if the action was not one I could fully support.
[ She draws her hand back a moment, the glow still present. ]
How does that feel? Does anything still ache in particular?
...I had thought the events at the turn of the year terrifying. Truth be told, I do not know what to think any more. [perhaps they really should have left Gigas and Ever Grande to sort each other out. ...A thought she squashes out immediately. None deserve the swathe of destruction that will come from the meeting of those two opposing forces.]

[She hesitates, then, and looks at her arm. The break's partly healed, she thinks, but it's delicate; it'll take a lot of healing to fix that. But... it doesn't hurt nearly as much.]
It's a lot better. The joint's kind of stiff, but I think that's having my arm in a sling.
[Then, she frowns, and nods.] ...Yeah. I think the world's gotten bigger, and that's not always a good thing. We've got two countries with the power of gods mad at us.
