[It's a video! Rose appears on the screen, wearing her blue shirt, white jacket, and looking generally professional and... merchant-like. She grins, and then she holds something up: a silver platter, with a lid covering it.]

Hi everyone! The Spearowfeathers have decided to start carrying something to be a little pick-me-up for the people of Union. We're proud to introduce...

[She removes the lid, and underneath is a steamed bun. Little tendrils of steam rise up from it.]

...the Mabo Curry Bun! It's a spicy Calderan dish, but it's held inside of a delicious steamed bun. It's hot, it's tasty, and it'll get you going! For the next two weeks, we're giving them away for free for lunch at our stand!

It'll help everyone keep their strength up for rebuilding.

But, after that, we'll start charging! Four dollars a bun. So come try some! It's free food. You can't go wrong with free food?

[well, that's good - at least Rose appears to be in fine form. Seems the Spearowfeathers are still in business in spite of recent events.]

That's very generous. [and ingenious] How spicy is 'spicy', out of interest?

It's pretty spicy. Have you ever had Calderan food? It's not... you know, chug a glass of milk spicy. But it has a kick!

I've tried a little from some of the food stands that have popped up over the course of the restoration. [so, not very much. but she's evidently willing to try one anyway] Did you cook them yourself, or is a member of your team the chef in charge?

[A little after introducing the mabo curry bun, Rose went back home. She's settled in nicely at Tycoon manor, contributing to the chores and generally helping out as much as possible. Also, chatting it up. Also, bringing home some of the spare food from what the Spearowfeathers cooked.]

[But she has to keep her skills sharp, so a little after she got in, she went to the roof to practice. Her jacket and coat are piled up in the corner, leaving her wearing her usual pants and boots, but just a sleeveless white shirt that she wears under her usual clothes.]

[She's just finished her drill -- and made a racket. She did runs, leaps, and shadowstepping teleports that likely made it sound like there was a stampede on the roof. But, after recent events... she wants to get better.]

[And letting out that frustration meant moving fast. And sometimes hard. She's standing on the roof, having worked up a sweat, and breathing hard.]

[Well, all that noise is pretty hard to ignore. Searching the house for Rose and not finding her, Lenna flies up to the roof on the back of her Dragonite, Alexander. Unsure of what to expect, she's clearly looking and feeling cautious and ready for a fight, but that expression quickly gives way to one of surprise when she sees Rose standing there.]

...Rose? Are you all right?

[Rose wipes at her brow with a hand towel, before she turns around. She tugs on the bottom of her sleeveless shirt to smooth it out, and then she glances at Lenna.]

Ah, yeah, sorry. I was making a bunch of racket, huh?

[She flashes a smile.] I was training. I guess I got a little carried away.

[What's this? A Pikachu wearing a dark blue hat and scarf has wandered up to the stand, because frankly? A delicious scent caught his attention, and his partner, standing not too far away in her winter cloak and mostly caught up in reading something in her book, is probably hungry.

Scholars.

The Pikachu isn't one to turn down a quick meal for himself, so it's win-win if he can get the attention of the proprietor.]

Ah--oh! Hey there, little guy.

[Rose had been dishing out mabo curry buns to people coming by -- mostly workers and residents in need of a meal -- but she hears the Pikachu more than see him. She leans over the wooden cart and stares down at him. She doesn't, quite, catch Raine yet. There's a bit of a crowd.]

[Give her a sec, though.]

You hungry, too?

[He knows he's small, though the Pikachu gives a little happy hop of acknowledgement when the vendor spots him. Not begging, exactly, but there's an eagerness there. Though he does sneak a look back toward the direction of where he last saw his partner, momentarily obscured by the crowds. Oops.]
