[Long time no see, Union. When the feed clicks on, there is one somewhat confused Hayato Ichimonji looking into the camera. He glances up to make a face and it's easy to see the gates of the City behind him. Goro the Marowak is dutifully on his shoulder while he heads further into the city.]

You folks sure know how to get into trouble after a guy leaves. Was I really gone that long? Yeesh.

[He looks back at the camera.]

I've been keeping up with most of it over the network but if anyone wants to give me the juicy details, please. I need to get caught up. Also!

If anyone has been wondering about Kazuya Taki, I just want to let you know he's been trapped in paperwork Hell thanks to the Battalion. If he doesn't drown he'll probably come back but he's hanging back in Caldera for now.

I'm coming back if you guys didn't rent my room to anyone while I was gone. [That's mostly a joke.] You guys doing okay?

[Hayato's getting right back to work, so he'll be easy to find in his usual places. He's either out running around with a notebook in hand, or taking a break at his favorite cafe. Come back him or any of his Pokemon friends!]

[ Someone looks way different from the last time Hayato saw her. Sleeker, a bit thinner even.

And with small, white and blue dragon-like wings attached to her back. They appear to just be sitting there, although as she closes in toward the camera, they stand at attention, spreading out a bit. ]

Whoa, Hayato, is that you? I forgot what you looked like for a bit there!

[And here's Right, still a bit bandaged but not as much as he did when he first came back from Glacier. He's moving around, at least. And grinning with joy.]

What kind of juicy details did you have in mind? Like how we celebrated with the gods?

Why is it you guys have parties with Gods and all they do to me is try to kill me? I must have offended someone in a past life.

Iiiii went to help save Glacier? We won, but it took the help of the other gods to do it.

[Right does brighten up at that last point.] And candy! And festival food, too!

Give me all the details! Man, I bet I could have gotten some really good pictures there. Such a missed opportunity.

[It also sounds like some people in this Glacier place needed to be punched in the face. Alas.]

Of course the food. You'll have to show me around since it'll be my first Soulfast.

[Right pumps his fists in the air excitedly...and then winces a little a few seconds later.]

[Hayato might feel a creeping sense of dread for a period of time. Someone-- or something --is following him. From the time he makes his video announcement until he leaves the cafe, there is a distinct presence that can't quite be seen or pinpointed.]

[And then, all at once, there's a jovial war cry and a blur of orange and pink iridescence collides with him, more than likely bowling him right on over.]

Ha~yato!! I missed you big doofus!!

[The orange and pink probably tipped him off moments before he hit the ground and she shouted.]

[He hits the ground but it's okay. He's got enough padding for it.]

-Ooof!

[yep.]

There you are.

[Sits right on him.]

Yep!! Hi. How are you.

[The wings protruding from the sides of her face perk forward and twitch.]

Haven't you heard? Getting in trouble is like, basically Union's city pastime.

I can totally fill you in on all our rad stories, though!

[He waves a hand.]

You stay in bed. There's no sense in hurting yourself worse. Where are you holding up at?

The Divine Theater. Miss Chansey and that jerk Waver's got me on bed rest until I can walk without hurting very much again.

[Right grimaces a little.] It's kinda boring, and there's still a lot of stuff to do for the upcoming play, too...

What were you doing that you missed all of it, anyway?

[Duo was curious how anyone could have missed something like that. He must have been really busy wherever he was.]

Ooo, I could go for some ramen, too. Sure thing! See you there!

[Seeing as he's usually out and about, he doesn't waste any time making his way over to the Industrial district with his entourage in tow. Goro sticks to making sure they don't get into trouble. The best he can anyway.]

I was out of town doing some work, you could say. I was pretty busy.

[Not that he was going to elaborate over the network, but it was pretty classified.]

Good call. Being stubborn is fine and all, but if you just keep hurting yourself, you'll never get better. Believe me, I know. Bed rest is the worst, but it has to be done.

[Sometimes Hayato could be that annoying older brother who nagged.]
