[Long time no see, Union. When the feed clicks on, there is one somewhat confused Hayato Ichimonji looking into the camera. He glances up to make a face and it's easy to see the gates of the City behind him. Goro the Marowak is dutifully on his shoulder while he heads further into the city.]

You folks sure know how to get into trouble after a guy leaves. Was I really gone that long? Yeesh.

[He looks back at the camera.]

I've been keeping up with most of it over the network but if anyone wants to give me the juicy details, please. I need to get caught up. Also!

If anyone has been wondering about Kazuya Taki, I just want to let you know he's been trapped in paperwork Hell thanks to the Battalion. If he doesn't drown he'll probably come back but he's hanging back in Caldera for now.

Okay, so get this. When we decided to move in, right? Like, the locals were all holed up trying to protect themselves, but there were a ton of soldiers with just like a zillion Fire-types all ganging up on them! Like, tough ones, too -- a kind of Rotom, and all these Mega-Evolved Charizards and everything!

[To hear him talk about it, you'd think he wasn't even scared.]

Wowie. It sounds like you guys were in a hell of a pickle. What did you guys do?

[He bounces where he sits, giving off a small, shimmery cloud of glitter, clearly quite pleased with the chance to show off his awesome war stories.]

Well, Waver put up these defensive spells, and somebody else did a Rain Dance thing, and everybody busted out the Water-type moves, like boom, Hydro Pumps everywhere! And then my Altaria friend, Fryderyk, went all "Moonblast!" at the Charizards, and everybody else started doing Fairy-type stuff too, and the Charizards totally didn't like that, and started flying off! And we couldn't chase them, the Rotoms blocked us off, but then the Dragon showed up and we had way more major stuff to worry about!
