[Is it any wonder that Commander Handsome is one of the first to perfect the use of the new video equipment? After all, dramatic speeches are so much more effective when he can showcase his cheekbones to their full potential.

Except now he's keeping it short and sweet, preoccupied with other matters, clearly:]

It seems recent events have sparked an...admirable rush of civic pride. I encourage anyone who is interested to see about applying for the Scouting Corps. We can always use Rangers with your sort of passion and drive.

As for everyone else -- continue to serve Union and humanity whole-heartedly.

[Guess who is one of those new recruits. This guy right here. While he isn't exactly showing his excitement full out, there is a sort of gleam in his eyes that just screams 'I am ready for this and want to serve Union.]

[Sora doesn't respond to the actual feed, since he's not sure what to say to the Commander to give a good first impression. Because frankly he knew, the first impressions he gave tended to fall under the "underwhelming" category. That really wasn't what he wanted.]

[So instead within a day he submits an application. It's a decent enough application. He's young, but he's clearly worked hard to get into the rangers. He took part in the mines mission, he trains all the time, he's Enlightened, good with Pokemon, he gets excellent grades in courses that relate to Ranger work (though his other grades are much more average - a tell-tale sign of where he put in most of his effort) and his personal answers are certainly passionate enough and willing to perform his duties for the sake of humanity.]

[Overall it's a very normal application. At a glance, there's probably nothing that Erwin or others reviewing the application haven't seen before more than a few times.The only oddity comes if one to look closer at the background information. Anything about himself prior to the past year and a half seems to entirely missing, like he forgot to include it what-so-ever. Which is pretty weird considering how complete the rest of the application is.]
