The White Dragon
The people of Union have descended into the besieged city, doing everything in their power to aid the citizens of Glacier yet remaining within. Whether struggling against the invaders seemingly loyal to the White Dragon, or seeking out the injured and lost in need of aid, they take advantage of several hours of relative calm to do all they can. And for a time, it seems to be working - the invaders are not so very strong after all, not against the experienced Unionites who have surpassed everything from human armies to memories of gods.
But perhaps the might of the two combined is an altogether different challenge.
GRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAH!
The sensation is felt throughout the whole of the city, the rumbling of the earth itself enough to take down the more unstable buildings in its wake. From any point, at any height, all eyes are drawn to the monstrosity that has descended in the blink of an eye into the still-burning town center. A great, white dragon... Exactly as described by those who had escaped from the city.
Those with sharp eyes will see that standing beside it, there seems to be a human figure.
Its sheer presence is overwhelming. The air around it ripples with an aura of heat, but felt even more keenly than that, there is a devastating sense of raw power and control. This being... this god could burn down the entire earth if it wished. A city of Glacier's relative size... What chance did it possibly have? That the world yet remains standing seems almost a mercy. Its size is immense, its bulk several times larger than that of a Wailord, its height almost seeming to rival the tallest towers of Union, though perhaps this is an exaggeration of the mind.
It takes a step forward, and the earth shudders once more in its wake.
All across the frozen city of Glacier, every individual carrying a Warp Band will suddenly feel the device activate of its own accord as a video feed begins to play. Attempting to turn it off fails, and changing it doesn't seem to work either. Something, or someone, has hijacked the feed and is using it for their own announcement.
A tall, severe looking man stares into the feed, his lone eye seeming to burn with an unnatural fire. And beside him, only its lower body visible, stands the feet of the White Dragon, its fur outlined in crisp detail from this distance. The man gazes steadily forward, eyes yet alight with passion.
"So, it seems that this place has found someone to come to its aid. No matter, our plans will not be disrupted by insects like you. Still, it's good to know that there are humans left that understand the value of kinship with our fellow inhabitants of this world. It brightens my day, you might say, to know that my men have been facing honorable opponents, and not weak cowards that still cling to the old ways.
A pity that when we're done here, we'll have to come for you next. I won't lie to you and say we'll show you mercy, but at least your deaths will be swift."
He smiles then, a thin and grave expression.
Every fiber of those remaining in the city screams to flee from this threat. There is nothing they can do - they must retreat. But though their minds may instinctively beg for such a course of action, to do so means to abandon its people to a fiery demise. Can they truly run from this?
They must choose quickly... and this time, it is not a choice concerning a rabid creature, an angered and wild animal lashing out. This cold and calculated destruction, sanctioned by a god itself, so reminiscent of what was said to have happened in the past. To oppose it, perhaps, means to steer the course of history into terrible new waters. Choose quickly, people of Union. What answer will you find?
((Reshiram is a Legendary, and thus, the normal rules will not apply. It will be able to strike through abilities that would seemingly protect people, and analysts will not be able to sense its weaknesses. It radiates an aura of power that will inspire fear and awe in those who see it. Please be warned that there is a definite chance of injury when attacking this creature; however, despite all this, it is possible to defeat it.
Have fun! And enjoy some mood music.))

Do not yield, children. We have come to aid you. Your people have proven their worth, and we stand in opposition of your extinction!

You can take Baldwin. [She puts a hand on the arm of her Golurk.] Baldwin, please protect Ami as best as you can, and do whatever she says. [The stone Pokemon nods and kneels before the older girl, a gesture of "I am in your service" and an invitation to climb up on his back.]
Now then...let's not waste the gift and get back to work. [Meaning Maka concentrates her energy on another Moonblast at Reshiram.]

... That man's typing is steel, fire, and fairy as well, and he's a God of War - and far, far stronger than any of us. Don't risk engaging him if he's not attacking. That bond is dangerous.
[And that's the rest of her report. Raine shakes her head at the mention of having any Pokemon that can fly, and quickly casts a lucky chant around them all before the others move to disperse. Offensive moves, though... she had come into this fight with only the ability to heal and support, and at a much lower level than everyone around her. She could tell that much back at the camp.
With that in mind... she realized that she gotten stronger after their previous battle. And she knew for a fact that despite her perceptive ability, she could be blind to her own potential at times, no thanks to having to hide it. But was it anything worth trying to go up against a god with? She wouldn't know for certain until the attempt had been made.
And, with all the protective moves already cast? This likely would be the best and only opportunity to seize for it before the god put them on the defense again. Closing her eyes, she concentrates, searching inward for the energy, twirling as she gathers it toward her, slowly and then a little faster, holding her arms out to the side before she stops. Then, pointing her fingertips toward the god, she opens her eyes as the name of the spell pops into her head, as the energy flows off in sparking light toward the dragon.]
Fairy wind!
[... Quite a display, but likely not going to amount to much of anything against that guy. A tickle if they're lucky? Maybe worth a gold star in effort but -- well, she's not going to worry about that.]

[Rei's heart soars when she sees the Moon Goddess arrive, and she can't help but throw back her head and laugh. That made this fight a little less hopeless! And for a priestess to be fighting on the same side as a god? Well, that was reason enough to celebrate. That strange mark burns on her forehead as she draws in energy, her attack bolstered early on by calming her mind.
Cracking her knuckles, she shouts out to her Pokemon.]
Fight! Don't back down!
[And with his stolen power, Ravi the Xatu obeys, attacking with a Future Sight. Thank you for the buffs, Cresselia, and thank you even more for the increase, Reshiram. On Rei's end, Gyarados still needs a moment to recover it seems, so Rei uses a Future Sight of her own, pummeling the Dragon God with psychic energy!]

Ravi, on the other hand, wheels up and out of the way, having already had a general idea of where it might be coming. It clips him, setting him into a spin that he quickly rights, but it's not enough to down him.]
Again, Ravi! Weaken his defenses before the Future Sights hit!
[And both Rei and Xatu attack with a Psychic and...Psychic! Double the headache? Hopefully the second part of the move will kick in and lower special defense, too.]

The heat is nearly unbearable, even in the face of that cold climate - but she weathers through.
Cresselia's assistance means that one less wave of healing she has to assist in, so after recovering, Raine quickly sends off another helping hand to continue to boost the actual fighters.]

[After checking on her Dragonair, Ami got on his back instead and sent Minerva back to the warp band. She then flew up with him and Golurk and faced the Reshiram. So, he wanted to use fire moves did he? Then Ami was going to make him feel a constant attack from her and the others. She had covered her entire body in a thin layer of water and ice. She then looked at Reshiram and used Whirlpool on the dragon god. It wouldn't be the most powerful, but it didn't have to be.
She then had Socrates use Dragon Rush again at the god. Cresselia's healing doing wonder for her dragon and picking up where her Chansey left off.
Ami looked over to Rei as they were flying nearly side-by-side again, only to smile wide with both pride and amusement at the sight of her significant other.]
Maka-chan, Raine-san, are you both alright? [Since the other two were decidedly not fire types or water types.]

[She calls up, it's hard not to be with the shields and sheer stubbornness--it got Maka through being attacked by ghosts, it'll get her through this battle. She had sent back her Tepig a long time ago, he wasn't ready for battles of this caliber, though Stella stayed with her at all times. Maka looks to the Meowstic now, seeing that unlike their first encounter with a god, the Pokemon is not afraid this time.
That's courage. That's real courage.]
Stella, we've almost got it, but we can't stop now--we gotta win this fight. Merlin--[She addresses the Slowbro.]--make sure this god doesn't burn the whole place down, all right?
[Both Pokemon nod and Maka steps forward with Stella--her charging up a Moonblast hopefully bigger than the last two, letting her mind concentrate on Cresselia's Moonlight to focus as her wings grow and grow in response. Stella unfolds her ears to unleash a Psychic attack at the same time.]

[The Psychic blasts fly hot and heavy here as the great dragon is bombarded from all sides by telekinetic force, whether summoned from the past or the present. The marks these attacks leave are less physical than mental - for a moment or two, it is clearly dazed by the psychic pummeling. Dazed enough, even, that it cannot fly out of range in time for the Dragon Rush to send it reeling - right into Ami's Whirlpool where it begins to spiral around almost comedically.
Where was something like that even forming, anyway?
Regardless of the physics behind it, the floating Whirlpool is more of a grave irritation at best, given that the dragon suffers no particular weakness to this attack - incidentally, the Fairy strikes are far less effective than they ought to have been, as well. Still, for the moment, it seems to be in a prime position for targeting.... Its mouth still hangs open, the flames now beginning to take on a blue hue.
That's just the consequence of the water gurgling down its throat, right?]
Children!
[Cresselia's tone is urgent as the blue hue of the fire deepens.]
Strike now! Strike at its mouth! You must end this here and now while it's caught!
[That fire... Even as they watch, it rears back for a great breath...]

[This feeling of adrenaline is new. Right now it's the only thing elevating Raine from the shock of their situation and taking it in fully. Being around gods. Fighting one and being aided by them. The reality of it was sheer insanity.
And yet there they were. There it was, preparing... the sense of urgency in the other god's tone was enough to tell that it was no ordinary attack. Something their shields and wards wouldn't do much good against if they couldn't divert it.
What did she have...? Thinking, focusing, she prepares a bright flash first, hoping the diversion would help distract or divert the god further in his trapped state. Then she focuses, following that up with another fairy wind attack. It didn't seem to do much before, but it's all she's got to work with right now.]

Once more Socrates! Aim for his throat! [The Dragonair nodded and making sure that Ami was now with Baldwin, the Dragonair used Dragon Rush aiming for the Reshiram's throat to stop him.]
dammit Rei needs a Pokemon with Gunk Shot.
Hellenes! Another Hyper Beam! Let's finish this!
[Recharged, the Gyarados nods and lets out a great, rumbling roar. And then the beam comes, a gigantic blast of Normal type energy right into Reshiram's mouth.
And Rei herself follows up with a Psy-Beam directed at the thing's mouth!]
AND THE POWER OF HEART!!!
[To add with Rei, Maka and Stella combine their own Psybeam attacks aimed true towards Reshiram's gaping maw. It's a shame to have to harm the Pokemon at all but, well, suck on it!]

Flash and Fairy Wind strike first, and while they wouldn't normally do much in its current state, the combination of the two dazzle it long enough to keep it from being able to do anything dodge the following, much more powerful attacks.
Blizzard comes next - and its jaws almost seem to freeze shut with the force of the intense cold. Hyper Beam and the three Psybeams strike almost simultaneously, and though it longs to cry out in rage and fury, its entire muzzle is frosted over in a thick layer of ice.
The end comes from the Dragonair. Its great body, hurting past, strikes perfectly on target even as Reshiram thrashes and struggles to escape the Whirlpool. A direct hit to its throat...! The mighty dragon's head snaps back, the ice coating its body shatters, and the flame that had been building without any release explodes outwards straight up into the sky. For a moment, the intensity of the Blue Flare is such that the fires blot out the sun in a mesmerizing cerulean hue...
But now is not the time to appreciate the beauty of an attack. The Dragon Rush has smashed Reshiram out from the Whirlpool; without any hesitation, it rises once more into the sky. Bloodied and frozen and covered with gashes, the dragon hovers momentarily, its breath coming in pants as it gazes upon the assorted combatants with an expression of hatred. It seems on the verge of speech...
But abruptly, it wheels around and rockets away, disappearing in a matter of seconds.
A strange quiet falls over them all.]
..............Congratulations, children. You've done it.
[The words of the lunar god are quiet and filled with a gentle pride.]
((Hey guys! This concludes the log! Thank you so much for threading and we hope you enjoyed it! You may continue to thread here, but unfortunately, as Cresselia is not my NPC, I will not be able to directly respond to anything directed towards her. Sorry for any trouble again!))

... toward the end that creature had been hurting. Enough for it to make sense that it would choose disappear and lick it's wounds for a while, though at the same time, so many of the other enemies had seemed determined to even die for their cause.
Even with Cresselia's declaration, Raine still feels unsettled, staring in the direction that the dragon god had departed, though her eyes dart in the other direction to make sure it hadn't decided to go around them and catch them unawares.]
