The White Dragon
The people of Union have descended into the besieged city, doing everything in their power to aid the citizens of Glacier yet remaining within. Whether struggling against the invaders seemingly loyal to the White Dragon, or seeking out the injured and lost in need of aid, they take advantage of several hours of relative calm to do all they can. And for a time, it seems to be working - the invaders are not so very strong after all, not against the experienced Unionites who have surpassed everything from human armies to memories of gods.
But perhaps the might of the two combined is an altogether different challenge.
GRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAH!
The sensation is felt throughout the whole of the city, the rumbling of the earth itself enough to take down the more unstable buildings in its wake. From any point, at any height, all eyes are drawn to the monstrosity that has descended in the blink of an eye into the still-burning town center. A great, white dragon... Exactly as described by those who had escaped from the city.
Those with sharp eyes will see that standing beside it, there seems to be a human figure.
Its sheer presence is overwhelming. The air around it ripples with an aura of heat, but felt even more keenly than that, there is a devastating sense of raw power and control. This being... this god could burn down the entire earth if it wished. A city of Glacier's relative size... What chance did it possibly have? That the world yet remains standing seems almost a mercy. Its size is immense, its bulk several times larger than that of a Wailord, its height almost seeming to rival the tallest towers of Union, though perhaps this is an exaggeration of the mind.
It takes a step forward, and the earth shudders once more in its wake.
All across the frozen city of Glacier, every individual carrying a Warp Band will suddenly feel the device activate of its own accord as a video feed begins to play. Attempting to turn it off fails, and changing it doesn't seem to work either. Something, or someone, has hijacked the feed and is using it for their own announcement.
A tall, severe looking man stares into the feed, his lone eye seeming to burn with an unnatural fire. And beside him, only its lower body visible, stands the feet of the White Dragon, its fur outlined in crisp detail from this distance. The man gazes steadily forward, eyes yet alight with passion.
"So, it seems that this place has found someone to come to its aid. No matter, our plans will not be disrupted by insects like you. Still, it's good to know that there are humans left that understand the value of kinship with our fellow inhabitants of this world. It brightens my day, you might say, to know that my men have been facing honorable opponents, and not weak cowards that still cling to the old ways.
A pity that when we're done here, we'll have to come for you next. I won't lie to you and say we'll show you mercy, but at least your deaths will be swift."
He smiles then, a thin and grave expression.
Every fiber of those remaining in the city screams to flee from this threat. There is nothing they can do - they must retreat. But though their minds may instinctively beg for such a course of action, to do so means to abandon its people to a fiery demise. Can they truly run from this?
They must choose quickly... and this time, it is not a choice concerning a rabid creature, an angered and wild animal lashing out. This cold and calculated destruction, sanctioned by a god itself, so reminiscent of what was said to have happened in the past. To oppose it, perhaps, means to steer the course of history into terrible new waters. Choose quickly, people of Union. What answer will you find?
((Reshiram is a Legendary, and thus, the normal rules will not apply. It will be able to strike through abilities that would seemingly protect people, and analysts will not be able to sense its weaknesses. It radiates an aura of power that will inspire fear and awe in those who see it. Please be warned that there is a definite chance of injury when attacking this creature; however, despite all this, it is possible to defeat it.
Have fun! And enjoy some mood music.))

Simmer down, Gil. That said, if you want to go that way, Spark and I can generate all the juice you need. Think you can whip something up fast enough to do some damage?
no subject
[Some quick mental math happens.]
At LEAST one shot.

[Lucca tossed Gil her plasma pistol. It was pretty useless, at least against something like that.]
If you need them, they're in the top right access port. Don't...damage the tip removing them though, the projector's a pain to repair.
no subject
Where am I needed, then? I'll support all of you in any way that I can.

[The lightning rod starts turning into something heavier and more complicated looking before your eyes. You've never seen someone's hands move so fast.]

Its fury remains unfocused as the wave of Flamethrower sweeps over them - rather than being targeted at any specific individual, everything simultaneously bursts into flames instead. It whips by overhead when it's launched its first volley before circling back to let loose with another.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. It simply meant to speed that process along.]
no subject
Well...that won't work a second time. Better work fast, Gil!
[She snaps her fingers...]
Dalton, Swiney! Buy us some time!
[And with chirps of delight from the overly excitable Clawitzer and Rotom? They set up a counterattack. A Water Pulse backed by the Clawitzer's Mega-Launcher ability and the Wash-Core's Hydro Pump!]
no subject
Any time now, Gil!
no subject
[It certainly will not, and the second time comes a bit too soon as the dragon coasts by spewing another jet of destructive flame. Reshiram is an intelligent beast - and this particular Flamethrower is aimed right for Lucca, her Pokemon, and whatever remains of her machinery with the intent of melting it into scrap.
Water Pulse and Hydro Pump, sadly, do little against the dragon - the fire it's spewing is one thing, but the dragon itself is far from susceptible to such an attack. A bit of damp never hurt anyone, and it flies straight through the jet of water without losing a beat.
Incidentally, though, it's now quite wet.
Just an off-hand, irrelevant note.
And now it hovers back in the air for a moment as an odd, blue energy begins to gather in its mouth...]

Gil...!
[Angrily, Lucca shoves a hand into her coat and pulls free one of her other toys. One of those Sonic Squeakers she'd been testing, a rubber Zubat bomb meant to be just as troubling as the real deal. It's silly, but that thing has some pretty big ears...and so she lobs it up at the dragon, setting off a high pitched whining sound that's keyed so high that it's almost beyond the range of human hearing. And it may even be enough to stun or confuse the dragon.
In the meantime, Swinedimple sets off a Thunder Wave to paralyze it!]
no subject
Okay you so called god, feel the angry fist of human ingenuity!
[Gil aimed and pushed a tiny button on the side of the device. There was about two seconds of silence, then a small bolt of lightning arced from the tip towards Reshiram. When the relatively unimpressive attacked passed between Ezreal and Spark, though, it drained in all the power they could project, and increased in size exponentially before arcing the rest of the way towards the dragon.]

GRRaaaaWWWWWWWRRRRrrrrRRRRRRR!
[Dragons are resistant to Electricity. But despite that Soak has not technically been used, the water lingering on its fine fur from before makes for an excellent conductor as the enormous spark travels up and down its body. For a moment, its bones almost seem to be visible in proper comedic fashion as it seizes in place.
The Thunder Wave falling at the same time successfully Paralyzes it - though it's far too busy listening to its eardrums melt to pay attention to whatever that toy was.]
You....!
[Did it talk just now? Was that a psychic broadcast? ...Just a bit of imagination, right? Whatever it was, the group is now facing a properly angry dragon, though also, of course, a somewhat battered dragon. Reshiram's expression is one of utmost rage as without further ado, a great gulf of flame descends upon them once more. ...This is different, though. This is more than just fire. Its tail flares to life like a searchlight as Fusion Flare engulfs the entire area.
Fire, fire, and more fire. It's a one-trick pony, but... given the state of Glacier at the moment, it seems to be a useful trick.]

This, unfortunately, leaves her quite vunerable to Fusion Flare, and, even without a fire weakness, she feels it. Taking in a sharp breath, feeling it burn in her lungs, she lifts her arm into the air. ]
ANNABEL!
[ Launching into action, the Vaporeon leaps from the ball of light. ]
Hydro Pump! Now!
[ Taking a deep breath, the Vaporeon shakes off whatever fear she happens to feel, braces herself, and fires a Hydro Pump at the white dragon. ]
no subject
Fortunately, Gil is surprisingly fast on his feet. He takes one look at the face of an angry god, decides that "NO", and jumps into a full on sprint down a side street.]
Stupid enlightened with their magic powers, stupid fire, stupid lightning gun, stupid dragons!
[The lightning gun, still clutched in one hand, was emitting sparks and smoke. No way he was going to get a second shot off.]
no subject
Of course, here comes the Fusion Flare, and that's bad! That's really, REALLY bad. Lucca quickly sends her Pokemon back into the ether, and flings herself to one side, using her Protect ability to make a bubble around herself and roll away...tumbling end over end like a Rattata in a ball. It's not graceful, and it's not even comfortable. And naturally, when it's all over and she's laying on the ground? She kind of regrets not just...making a teleportation belt.]
...You know, the sky's really kinda blue today.
[Now, what to do about the dragon...
Laying there in the half melted snow, she does about the only thing she can think of. She calls out Kuroshi a few feet away (hopefully out of sight around the corner of a house) and mentally orders him to Dig into the ground and attack when the time feels right. A Golett land-mine. And she? Well, she'll just lay there for a second and sort out her spinning head.]
no subject
...Or at least, it is when Lucca first gazes upon it. For some reason, most likely to do with the smoke rising from the remnants of the Fusion Flare, it almost seems to steadily darken before her eyes.
That has nothing to do with the battle at hand, though, so let's return to that later.
Ezreal successfully evades the brunt of the blast as he hides behind Mega Charizard, and this, for some reason, annoys Reshiram greatly. The Hydro Pump strikes and this time, it noticeably flinches - it's received enough damage that it can't tank any further with impunity, even if the attack doesn't strike any particular weakness. Still, it swoops down towards Ezreal.]
I will not be denied!
[Farewell, Ezreal. With its immense speed, Reshiram has no trouble at all appearing before Ezreal in the blink of an eye, lunging down to take both it and the Charizard in one fell Crunch.]
no subject
[And as the jaws close around them, Ezreal and his companion instantly dissolve into smoke that streams past the dragon's maw. ...Not the choking smoke of the flames, but a fine, black mist of a different quality, darker than a shadow and thicker than the densest fog. It billows upwards from the illusory duo, faster and faster until it coalesces into an immense cloud of darkness that hangs still for a moment in the air.
The sky is black now.
In the next moment, a great gust of wind whips past and the shadow stretches and contorts itself into a familiar shape, a single green eye shining brilliantly through the otherwise pitch-black body.]
And yet I deny.
[The real Ezreal and Charizard appear nearby, as the Double Team Darkrai had (cheatingly) applied to them fades.]
It has been many moons, my friend. But I fear you and I meet in opposition today. This is not what we agreed upon eons ago.
[The great dragon looks incredulous as it rears back, furious.]
You side with the humans?!
[And the shadow's single eye closes.]
I side with those who forge a path towards the future we seek. But you... You seek oblivion. I shall grant you a taste.
[And not only the sky now, but the world around them has become monochrome, shades of black that quiver uneasily under a watchful eye. The shadows move in unison - flooding their way across the ground, flowing down from buildings and trees, even detaching from the humans still watching to swarm the dragon, inching their way up its body and submerging it in inky darkness. There is no time for even a cry of before it staggers and falls, helpless within the paralyzing force of the Dark Void.
Darkrai's eye remains closed, its arms outstretched as it maintains its concentration.]
Strike with all your power, humans. I cannot keep it subdued for long.

So, let's let the Pokemon handle things. All she does is sit up and grin as Hooly the Muk plops out of the Warp Network a few feet near Reshiram.]
Hey Hooly! I think he hasn't eaten in a while. Why don't you help him out?
[And the excitable blob of sludge positively beams, and then draws in a breath before exhaling a Gunk Shot right at Reshiram's massive and unmoving mouth. If nothing else, that's going to cause a hell of a case of Halitosis. And maybe poison?
And then the other thing she'd set up happens. The Golett that'd dug down into the ground? Emerged with a cracking sound, attacking with the second half of it's Dig!
Only now? it's not a Golett anymore. Instead, it's a full grown Golurk! that's grasping at the Dragon God's leg, trying to pull it under.]
Holy Hells! You got big!

Stopping when she saw Ezreal somehow all right, and Darkrai form himself completely, the blond stands a bit numb, her mind processing.
What was Darkrai doing here? Wait, Ezreal was all right? Did Darkrai just--
Did it just save them?
She was relieved to be sure. But she was also pissed. ]
All our power, huh?
[ Clenching her fist, she smiled a bit darkly, raising her arm into the air. ]
If you insist!
[ Letting two fingers rest on her bracelet, Lux's body began to glow, her form nearly blinding in luminescence. Fading quickly, the blond stood there in a strange set of armor, still glowing, but not nearly as brightly. Her staff flying around her, she caught it in one swift motion, swinging it and releasing and detonating a Lucent Singularity (Fairy-type attack, tags with Illumination) at Reshiram.
Spinning her staff again, she quickly fades from sight, bending the light around her in the hopes of getting in a better position for a second attack. ]

Instead, it is asleep.
It seems very angry even whilst asleep, as if it knows that some worthless peons are shoving garbage in its mouth and decorating it with annoying fairy sparkles and blinking psychic lights and digging at its limbs. Partway through all of this, it half-retches as the trash dribbles out of its mouth and its expression becomes even more furious.
It definitely knows.
Darkrai cracks its eye open and carefully refrains from making any sounds that could be mistaken for amusement.]
Ahh... It is waking.
[...It wakes.]
GYAAAAAAAAAH!
[Burning trash spews everywhere as it attempts to leap up, wordless with fury. Too bad it's half-buried, now, courtesy of Golurk. It doesn't even seem to particularly aim at anyone. This whole world is trash and it all needs to perish right this instant.]
HUMAAAAAAANS!
[Well, Burning Trash Vomit is probably an attack, right? If not, it takes advantage of being buried to psychically send shockwaves and enormous lumps of rock hurtling at everyone - an Earth Power. Darkrai casually vanishes from view as it throws its tantrum.]
no subject
Actually looking at the thing, though, it looked like the main power source was still more or less intact. It was just the focusing mechanism that had exploded. Lacking any better idea of what to do, Gil peaked around the corner to figure out exactly where Reshiram was, then turned the power output up to maximum and flung the smoking ruin of the lightning cannon at the dragon. With that much charge building up and no way to let it out, he wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen. Only that it was going to be loud.
Gil covered his ears and waited.]
no subject
The Earth Power crunched into Hooly, but the big Muk managed to maintain it's form long enough for Lucca to send him home. That'll do, Sludge. That'll do.
Of course, this meant that it was time to really finish this. So...she whips back around the corner and fires off her freeze ray, shooting Reshiram with an Ice Beam from the relative safety of...well not much safety at all really.]
Hey Gato! Since your down there, may as well make yourself useful!
[If a Golurk could grin? It totally would. Because guess what's coming right at your crotch (or whatever passes for it), Reshiram? A whole lot of moving earth, in the form of an Earthquake!]
