I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

[ Everything else Nico says Maki forgets right away. That last thing though, makes her open her mouth wide in surprise, she can't even hide it. Nor can she hide the way her face is getting redder every second. Eventually she just...turns away from the camera. Only the side of her face can be seen. ]

[ Maki knows exactly why she does now, but that doesn't make any of this easier. Also, this is their dumbest conversation ever. ]

[ Are they really fighting? Or are they just having a stupid argument? And what is Maki even saying, she needs to think before she talks but she's so bad at that. ]

[ She really...has no idea what this fight is for or what she agreeing to. ]

[She stares for about two seconds before realizes how dumb and embarrassing this is and looks away]

I'm writing a new song, with Umi helping on the lyrics. ...Will you listen to it when we're done?

[ Maki's ears twitch visible in frame, clearly she's keeping something from Nico. ]

[She did just say she was out of sorts after the break up so... maybe she should be a little nicer to her?]

[ She is definitely out of sorts, but Maki can't tell Nico why, which makes this all the more difficult.

And then she practically stabs her in the heart with that offer. ]
