[ Maki's at her piano today, tucking her hair behind her ear as she starts. ]

I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

S-So! If anyone is any good at writing lyrics or poetry or something, I'd let you work with me. Just get in touch with me, the sooner the better.

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

[Again, normally Nico would turn this into a huge fight but... today she's trying to be nice, so she'll just puff out her cheeks momentarily before letting it out and sighing]

Fine. We should focus on the practice for now anyway.

[ Instead of answering Nico's point, Maki says something embarrassing. ]

Hey Nico...t-thanks for worrying about me. [ Why couldn't that just work as a confession?! Why is this so hard?! ]

Eh? Uh, um.... no... problem?

[How the heck are you supposed to respond to that?]

I guess it is... [ Given that Nico LIKES HER. And neither of them can just admit it! Maki finds herself looking at Nico and can't help but make a stern face, feeling like she just wishes Nico could admit it to Maki like she had before! ]
