[The Seas were Sinbad’s natural environment – when they were behaving normally. However, due to recent events, they were rolling and bucking like mad, making the two passengers on the ship heading towards Union’s port deeply regret their decision to go seawards – He’s not sure about Morgiana, but he’s almost certain he’s going to be feeling it the next day.

After checking for the Umpteenth time that Morgiana hadn’t been thrown overboard by the last swell he sprang up as the docks go within jumping distance. He waves to anyone that might be out watching the seas as he turns back to the young woman]

Ah! Morgiana, We’re almost there! So that Warp Band you got is gonna work now?

[Video]

[Sinbad clears his throat lightly before he starts speaking - he’ll really have to make this first impression count]

People of Union! We’ve come hearing that you are in trouble, and we’ve arrived to render assistance! I am Sinbad - Merchant and Adventurer and I believe some of you already know my companion Morgiana from her previous time here.

[He lets Morgiana take control of her warp band]

...Anyways! We travelled a long ways since we heard that someone was causing unnatural distortions in the region’s weather, and obviously we couldn’t let that happen. Now then - where can we go to see the King of this City -

[At the point Morgiana’s voice can be heard from off screen.]

Union doesn’t have a king. It’s a republic.

[Then Sinbad glances off screen, speaking quietly, but his voice can still be heard by those with good hearing]

It is? Really? Not many city-states are...

[She shifts the view around so it shows her face instead of Sinbad’s.]

It is as he says. I heard rumors that things were going wrong here, so I talked him into heading back north with me to see if we could help.

Sinbad is…mostly trustworthy, I’d say.

Mostly?

[He can be heard off-Camera]

My sincere apologies for my false assumption on how this city functions, but as I had said before, I am more than happy to help wherever I can, and I do have other business I would like to conduct once all is well.

I'm willing to fight if that's what's needed, or head out and rescue or retrieve someone if they're in trouble. I'm afraid about the only thing I can't really do is any kind of medical work, as I have neither the training or the ability for it.

I...think the fighting is probably mostly going to be avoided if possible.

[She rolls a shoulder.]

But I for one say the Rangers would appreciate anyone who'd be willing to keep newer trainers out of the affected areas. Particularly the Swamp, since we're still investigating the affects of this mist.

Ah, so there's some diplomacy at work? Good, I'm glad it sounds like violence can be avoided.

[He nods]

I'll need to get myself a map of the area and familiarize myself with regions, but I'm willing to do that much.

We're trying, anyway. I've heard some folks are having an easy time, and some Enhanced have been pacified. I don't know about the rest.

[She nods at the request and taps a button or two. Totally contacting an NPC yo.]

If you want something really detailed you'll have to check Union proper, honestly. It's beyond me to send it right now. Though, I just sent a note to a friend of mine to have one brought to the south gate.

[He bows his head, a hand resting on his chest, as a Dratini's head pops over his shoulders, trying so very hard not to roll it's eyes]

I was originally from the Archipelago, but I'm trying to find a new home.

Oh yes, this is Badr. He's been with me the longest. As for Union, Honestly I didn't really have a specific place in mind, I came here mostly to help Morgiana - but I do like what I see so far.

[Laughing to herself, she rubs Suzume's head, hauling Dragonite more fully into view.]

Well, so long as you understand that I'm a taken woman, I'd be happy to show you around when this all clears out. [And the big Pokemon nods too, antennae waggling.]

They are quite lucky indeed.

[He just shrugs, giving a small grin as the Dratini nodded, chirping to the Dragonite]

I've been with this human since I hatched, I can vouch for his good intentions even if he doesn't look too reliable.

[That remark earned an almost sulky glare from the human]

I'm happy to get know this city and it's culture better.

Other way around, really. I'm lucky she puts up with me.

[Suzume smirks, and Yuuna...who can't speak Pokemon...just laughs. Figuring something's up is a safe bet, given Suzume's face.]

I can say the same of mine. She's a good human.

That's easy enough to manage. Though you'll probably want a Warp Band of your own.

Great! When Morgiana told me about the Warp Bands, they sounded too good to be true, but seeing them in action is absolutely amazing. I can only imagine how much good they can do.

So what would I have to do to get one?

You'll need to ask some of the local officials. But it shouldn't be a big deal. They give them to people who intend to stay in the area, really.

Yeah, that makes sense - something like this would be an advantage to those who possess the technology.

While I do planned on continuing to travel around and see everything that exists in this world - I really should find a place I can always return.

Well Union's not going anywhere anytime soon, and there's a lot of weird stuff to see right around here. Maybe it's a fit.
