[If one is passing by the Council Hall, they will notice an adorable and pampered-looking Eevee standing on the steps. She is wearing a cute pink collar with the name of "HIME" emblazoned upon it, a bow sitting proudly behind her little head. When you get closer to her, she turns her big, soulful eyes on you and makes the most pathetic sounds.

If her coat wasn't so shiny and luxurious, you'd swear she was starving. But, really, feed her anyway.

Or, you know, try to find her trainer. Either one.]

Uh, to everyone who ran into my Eevee, Hime, earlier, I'm sorry. She ran away while I was at school. If she conned food out of you, I can pay you back. And if she did something else, [Makoto sighs, knowing what trouble the adorable little Pokémon could get into] let me know and I'll pay you back for any damages.

Natto was on his way back to the theater from a day out observing the winter fashions, Gold the Jolteon carrying a bag of various small purchases in his mouth, when his eyes are caught by an incredibly well-groomed Eevee wearing a bow someone clearly crafted with the utmost care. This accessory.....! This attention to detail...!

Rummaging behind himself, Natto pulls out a small green leaf and offers it to Hime. Hello! This is terribly forward of him, but would you like to be his friend? ] Leavanny!

[ He used to be much shyer. He's kind of proud of himself! ]

[Hime is very proud of her bow and collar, thank you. Her trainer put it on her and has told her how pretty she is with it on.

She preens under the Leavanny's attention. Until he holds out a leaf and not a Poképuff.

She turns her head to the side and sniffs haughtily.

Nope. No friends here unless you have food.]

[ Natto's antennae droop, and the arm holding out the leaf flags slightly. You don't want to be friends? Well...he knows it's impossible to be friends with everyone, but even if you don't want to be friends yet, maybe he can still be friendly! So he smiles and tries chirping again. Are you waiting for someone? ] Leava?

[ Gold has his mouth full of bag, but he's starting to look sad himself. She turned down Natto's leaf because she was so hungry! Natto, they've got to help! ] Ee.

[She doesn't even comment on Natto's attention. Good try, little guy, but she's kinda spoiled.

But, the Jolteon gets her to pay attention, and she turns sad little eyes on him. (She smells some food in that bag.)]

[ Hime, you're breaking Gold's heart. Turning to Natto, who is patiently waiting to see whether his overture will be accepted, he whines around the bag. Natto, they should help! Is it okay if he helps? ] Eeeeee. Eee.

[ Natto thinks. This is weird. That Eevee is in such good condition - he's sure her Trainer loves her very much, so she shouldn't be this hungry. But the right thing to do when someone is hungry is to feed them, regardless of their other circumstances. If she's been waiting for her Trainer to finish something for a long time, or if she got separated from her Trainer....

He knows! Why don't they split a snack and then go looking for her Trainer together? ] Leava vanny!

[ Gold smiles and drops the bag. Don't worry, poor, sweet little Eevee! He's going to help you out!! ] Jolt!

[Look, cousin, isn't she cute? Her Trainer is at that school place and has been there all morning and wouldn't let her go and she's so hungry now. She'll even pay attention to your friend if you'll really help her.

In fact, Hime comes from her spot on the stairs and rubs her silky fur against Natto for a moment.]

[ That Trainer of yours brushes your fur so soft! Natto still can't help but feel like something is fishy here, but he also doesn't see the harm in sharing their food. So he goes over to the bag Gold dropped and opens it, looking around. There's only two here since they are just two Pokémon, but....

...would you like one of their PokéPuffs? They got a little squashed. ] Van.

[ Gold just grins and lets the Pokémon with arms handle this. He's more than happy to split a PokéPuff with Natto if it means they can help someone. ]

[Yes, well, Hime makes sure that her Trainer pays attention to her. Or... well... flour might end up all over the kitchen again.

She looks at the Poképuffs and back at the two Pokémon before sniffing at the one being offered to her. Smells okay.]

Vee?

[Maybe she feels a little bad now that she sees the condition it's in. Are you sure it's okay to eat it all?]

Van van! [ Natto brandishes the puff in front of Hime, still smiling. Don't worry about him and Gold. They're each okay with half, right, Gold? ]

Jolt!

[ Gold has icing on his nose now from trying to help break the remaining puff in half. Apparently holding it in place atop the bag with one paw and pulling lightly with his jaws was a silly idea.

And now they're both looking expectantly at Hime. Will you share a snack with them? ]

[Well this Eevee is a little bit familiar, now isn't it? Rei blinks at Hime, and Boreaum the Spheal arfs happily.]

What are you doing on here?

[Arf! Arf! Boreaum waddles closer. hello hello hello! What is it you want?]

[Hime ignores the Spheal before turning large, shiny eyes on the human.]

Veeeeee?

[Doesn't she sound pitiful? Don't you want to feed her? You know you do.]

[Boreaum looks a little put out, arfing unhappily at his trainer. Why won't the Eevee say hello back? Is she mean.?

he's not terribly bright.]

[A pause, and then Rei says to Hime:]

Is Mako-chan not feeding you enough, Hime?

[The Eevee is spoiled and wants food. You don't have food.]

Ee. Eevee.

[She's fed well enough, but Makoto's at that school place and not feeding her right now.]

Rei frowns.]

Hime, what makes you think that I'm going to feed you? Especially with as sleek as you already are. I don't want to make you fat...

[This one is tough. She remembers her from the day she met Makoto.

Hime turns to Spheal and chirps before rubbing her soft fur against him and then Rei's legs.]

Vee?

[See, she can be sweet. And she won't get fat. She promises.]

[She raises an eyebrow and Boreaum arfs contentedly. Okay you aren't so bad.]

Hime, what exactly do you want? Is there some food you're hungry for? Or are you just looking for a treat?

[Okay, so Boreaum isn't so bad. Better than that clumsy Usato mess back home. Hime goes back over to rub against him again. It's almost like being petted, after all.]

Eevee. Vee.

[She wants attention, and maybe Poképuffs. Or berries. She's not picky.]

[there's a 'meep' of a Shinx kitten next to Hime, looking up at the Eevee expectantly. When no food is forthcoming, she squeaks again.

Off in the distance, one might spot a harassed looking Corsola running around frantically.]

[Hime looks over at the Shinx and snorts. Go get your own corner and gig, little kitty. This is her spot.]

[tiny Shinx kitty really has no idea what you're talking about, but you're shiny and that's good enough to grab her attention.

She mews again and walks a little closer, rearing up on her hindlegs and placing her paws on your leg if you'll let her.]

[Okay, why are you touching her now? Her fur is much softer than yours, yes, but that doesn't mean anything. Do no touch.]

[kitty responds with a squeak that's more noise than words, and....will probably start trying to climb up on Hime if she's not stopped.

The Corsola in the background is now running around with a Shinx lure bakery bag hanging off her spines.]

[Hime sniffs disdainfully and moves away, down a step to get away from the kitten. Scram. It's not convincing to random trainers if she has company.

However, the smell of yummy food has her attention and she sniffs her way in the direction of this bakery bag.]

[too bad. Tiny kitty could've been a prop in this particular enterprise of yours. Either way, kitty follows along, mewing pitifully at you every other step. Hey! Hey, you! Hey!

Corsola looks around at all the noise and...! Oh! It's the baby she was supposed to be babysitting!!] Corsola! [kitty meeps in response!]

Sola..! Cor? [thank you, giant Corsola in the sky, for making sure her Trainer won't kill her for losing the baby. And huh. Where'd this brown Pokemon come from?]

[Hime works alone and it works, but good try, little kitty. One day. As a spoiled pet, Hime is more than willing to ignore you as she tries to find someone else to feel sorry for her.

But food is very important.]

[She is Hime, the most beautiful of Eevees and you have food, therefore you are important. Don't you want to share?]
