[If one is passing by the Council Hall, they will notice an adorable and pampered-looking Eevee standing on the steps. She is wearing a cute pink collar with the name of "HIME" emblazoned upon it, a bow sitting proudly behind her little head. When you get closer to her, she turns her big, soulful eyes on you and makes the most pathetic sounds.

If her coat wasn't so shiny and luxurious, you'd swear she was starving. But, really, feed her anyway.

Or, you know, try to find her trainer. Either one.]

Uh, to everyone who ran into my Eevee, Hime, earlier, I'm sorry. She ran away while I was at school. If she conned food out of you, I can pay you back. And if she did something else, [Makoto sighs, knowing what trouble the adorable little Pokémon could get into] let me know and I'll pay you back for any damages.

Leava? [ Natto looks over from where he'd been carefully nibbling on his "half" of the remaining PokéPuff (as Gold makes a mess on the bag). Didn't you like it?

It doesn't look like he quite understands yet, Hime. ]

[Hime looks over at Gold and cocks her head to the side. Really, do you have to be so messy there, cousin?]

Eevee.

[It was tasty, but she doesn't want to be greedy. Besides, you're so much bigger than her. Aren't you still hungry too?]

[ Hey, he's using their bag as a placemat. It could be worse. And he'll clean himself up! Look, he's licking his paws and wiping himself down. Oof. This is kind of uncomfortable to do when it's this cold outside. ] Jolteon.

[ Natto hesitates. He's okay, really, and she'd been so hungry - but he also doesn't want to be the ungrateful one. So without any further questions he picks up the puff and takes a bite, then smiles to show her how happy he is she decided to share. Does this mean you'll be his friend? ] Leavanny!

[Ouch, the public bath looks horribly painful. And you missed a spot on your nose there.

She's still a little hungry, but she knows that when her Trainer finds here, she'll be fed. And, well, you guys are kinda okay and make her feel guilty. Something that her Trainer's other Pokémon could never manage.

Guess that makes you friends now.]

Lea! [ Natto finishes his puff - which he, for the record, managed to eat without getting food all over himself. That must be a specialty of Gold's instead.

It's a good thing, too, because he's offering Hime the leaf again. If you still don't want this, that's okay, but green goes nicely with pink! He thinks it will make your bow look even better, if you'll let him stick this to you. ] Va?

[ Gold manages to shock himself with a final lick to his nose. How. But he stays out of this, since he has a feeling it might be a Moment. ] Ee.

[This leaf thing... It must be important. Hime looks at Natto for a minute before deciding she can't be rude and not take it again.]

Vee.

[Although, the fact that the Jolteon shocks himself makes Hime flinch herself. That looks very painful.]

[ Natto waits until Hime's done flinching to examine her and her bow more closely. Getting the leaf unstuck from the bow for cleaning would be a pain, so after much deliberation, he decides to place it in front of one of her ears instead. There! It looks like a barrette!

Satisfied, Natto steps back and claps his "hands" together. You look so cute! ] Van!

[ There has to be a storefront around her they can use to show her her reflection... ]

[When the Leavanny is done, Hime walks over to the big windows to the news stand and looks. It's fairly nice. She almost looks like an Leafeon.

She approves.

She looks back at the other two Pokémon for confirmation.]

Jolt! [ Gold is such a fan that he even hops up and down when he barks. Natto is more demure, not wanting to come across as immodest - his leaf just accentuates her natural prettiness and the good care her Trainer gives her, after all...

...that's right, her Trainer! Do you need them to wait with you? Or do you have to go find her? ] Leava vanny lea!

[ He kind of wants to meet this human. ]

Vee! [Hime basks in the attention, pleased with the compliments, until Natto mentions her Trainer.

Her Trainer is at school. But, haha, she actually doesn't remember where that is exactly.] Ee?

[ Oh dear. You are lost, then. Gold looks sad, and Natto contemplative, before the latter claps his "hands" together. They can look together! Three pairs of eyes are sharper than one. ] Vanny van!

[ Gold nods, then picks up the bag with his mouth again. They'd bought a few supplies at the crafts store, but the vendor had been so charmed by Pokémon shopping on their own she'd gotten them the PokéPuffs. The city is full of nice people like that, so they should find that school in no time! ] Eee!

Hime! Where are you?

[If she'd waited, she'd've been fed at lunchtime. Instead, she ran off. And now Makoto, Cotton, and Usato are looking for her.

Well, Usato's got his leaf stuck in a door don't ask, but it's the spirit that counts.]

[ After a bit of wandering around in this crowd, Gold spots a Chikorita in a terrible predicament! He bounds over and drops his parcel again to speak. Are you okay? What happened? Can he help?? ] Jolteon?

[ Natto remains in the crowd, staring up at the humans in worry. What would someone who just lost their Eevee look like? He's sure she'll be dressed perfectly, too... ]

[Oh, good Jolteon, please, help him. He's stuck and he doesn't know how to get free. How did this happen? Why is it always him? He's cursed with cuteness and clumsiness. Tears are literally in his eyes as he talks.] Riiiii.

[Hime follows at a sedate pace, looking around for her Trainer and either Cotton or Usato. She sees the Mareep and stops. There's her Trainer, looking worried and scared. Ooooh boy.]

Vee.

[Makoto practically perks up at the sound of her Pokémon, and she and Cotton run over. She picks up Hime and hugs her gently, sighing in relief.] I'm so glad you're okay! I was so worried about you. Don't run away again. [She looks down and spots a familiar looking Leavanny.] Natto? Is that you?

Leavanny! [ It's one of Trainer's friends! Natto's so relieved - both that they found Hime's owner and that she's Good People. (Trainer wouldn't know Bad People, so he's sure it's all good.) You're the human that made that lovely bow? And...were they not supposed to move the Eevee?

He looks bashful. Wandering off was his idea. Please don't scold Hime. ] Leava lea.

[ Meanwhile, Gold is examining Usato's predicament from every possible angle, frowning. He sniffs the leaf. He scratches on the door. He backs up and runs into the door as hard as he can, then bounces off with a resounding "thwack". Whoo, now he's dizzy. So much for that option. ] Jolt....

[Makoto sighs, happy to see that Hime managed to find a Pokémon that is safe and someone she knows so she can thank them personally.]

Thank you, so much, Natto. We were worried about her. Was she much trouble?

[Hime sniffs, but she resembles that remark so she can't say much in her own defense. Besides, he shared food with her and gave her a leaf that made her prettier. He's okay.]

[But poor Usato and Gold...The Chikorita watches the Jolteon as he crashes into the door and hurts himself. That stops the tears. Oh, no, are you hurt? Are you bleeding? Don't do that. Please.]Ri. Chikorita. Chi.

Vanny van. [ Natto shakes his head reassuringly. Not at all! In fact, she had such good manners, she shared her PokéPuff! (....On that note, he hopes it's okay he fed her. He looks down, embarrassed.)

Gold, for his part, feels his head with a paw and is satisfied that no bump has formed. He's okay! ] Jol!

[ Now, about your predicament....

He sniffs Usato's leaf where stem meets door, then opens his mouth to gently try and take Usato by said stem. The door won't move, so he'll tug you free! Okay? ] Jolteon?

Well, I'm glad. I brought lunch for everyone. I think there's enough to share. [She grabs her bag, pulling out food for everyone, and looks around.] Um, where's Usato?

Rii! [Usato is so happy you're not hurt, Gold. He would feel awful if that happened.

But, what are you doing? Don't bite his... OH. That makes sense. Do you need him to do anything to help?] Chikorita?

[ You'd share with him? That's so sweet...though Natto does hope he hasn't spoiled Hime's appetite with the puff. She seemed really hungry, though, so it should be okay...? ] Lea.

[ He looks around for the errant Chikorita too, but hasn't turned around yet to notice Gold standing by the door, bracing himself for this Helpful Operation. You just need to stand reaaaaallly still, okay, little guy? And don't be scared. It might hurt a little while he's pulling, so let him know if he accidentally bites too hard. ] Jllll....teeee....nnnnn...

[ Planting his paws on the pavement (but trying to keep his mouth loose), Gold gives a mighty yank! ]

[Of course she's going to share with everyone. Why wouldn't she? And, well, Hime will be okay. Let her pay you back for it, okay?]

Usato? Where are you?

[Cotton lets out a excited bleat as she spots the Chikorita with a familiar Jolteon before running that way.

Usato, for his part, is a little worried, but he trusts Gold. He's helping and seems like a really nice, Jolteon. Just...don't hurt him too much okay?] Rii!

[Did it work? Is he free? Usato pulls his little head back and... the leaf slides free of the door. YAY! You've done it!]

[ Gold is so overcome by his own efforts that his buttfuzz plunks down on the cobblestones; blinking a few times, he lets go of Usato's stem and looks around. That was - huh - there was no screaming, and nothing broke. This isn't normal.

He looks down at the newly-freed Chikorita. Usato's free. He's in one piece, and so is the door. Is this real life? Because it looks like Gold just helped someone, and that's never gone right before....

Jumping back on all four paws, he hops around Usato, every bit as excited for the Chikorita as he is for himself. They did it!! And you feel okay? Your leaf will be fine? He knows from the company he keeps that leaves are important, so, wow, this is the best day ever, it worked! It worked!!!!! ] Jolteon! Eeeee!!!

[ Natto doesn't say anything, but he hangs out behind Makoto and smiles. Good for both of them. He's happy, too. ]
