I think I might need a little help with this one.

[He turns the Warp Band, showing the image of his Volbeat. Sitting under a sprinkler and looking depressed. When the sprinkler stops, it picks itself up with great effort, lumbers over to another sprinkler, and sits underneath it, letting the water pour on it.]

He's been doing that all day. When one sprinkler stops, he just moves to the next. I think he's depressed. I tried talking to him, but all he does is look at me like he's about to die or something. I've never seen him so sad, I thought everything was going great! He's usually really happy... He doesn't train because he's way too concerned with going out on dates, and he's been going out on a ton of them! But I think the last girl he went on a date with really dropped it hard on him.

I don't get it. [He scratches his head in confusion.]

Action:

[The Volbeat in question is headed home after his 150th failed date. His little buggy hand slides across a wall as he drags himself home, bent over with sadness. He can't believe this happened again.

No girl wants to date a loser like him.

He starts eating some of the comfort food he'd taken from the date. He knew he'd need it.

The poor guy looks like he's had a bad night. He takes the wrapper of his food and chucks it behind him, not caring if it hit anyone or not. Bleh.]

There are exceptions. Yeah. Generally the other way around. I've totally made friends with some pretty awesome ghosts, but I think those tend to be rarer.

Sorry...just...had ghosts on the brain a lot lately. I've taken charge of some of Martin's therapy.

[He wasn't at the funeral, but he has run into Yamasks, pretty childish ones at that, but he just...doesn't answer, not with how she speaks right after that.]

His therapy? I didn't know anything was wrong. Maybe coming back from the dead really did do a number on him that he didn't know about, huh.

Yeah, his body's a little outta shape. All that time in the hospital? I mean, he's in good shape for a dead guy, but he's not where he was. We met back when he was a Sword, and he was one of the better swordfighters in Union. Now? I'm not so sure.

I guess I didn't think about that. [Of course he didn't.] Man, how long until you think he'll be okay? He's gotta be getting bored if he can't get out to do stuff as much as he used to.

It'll take work, and he's already bored. That's why I'm taking more personal measures, so I can keep him nearby and stop him from wandering off on his own.

Personal measures? What do you mean by that?

[For all he knew that might mean a pet carrier.]

Mostly that he's not leaving the city without me. If something goes wrong, Suzume or Kuroshi can get him home safe and quickly.

The hospital, and Cordelia, won't let him loose unless he has someone.

Well he nearly died again up in the mountains last week. I'd say we're being cautious for a reason.
