[The feed snaps on to reveal a concerned looking Goku, glancing behind him a few times before speaking. He seems to be in the Habitat.]

I think I might need a little help with this one.

[He turns the Warp Band, showing the image of his Volbeat. Sitting under a sprinkler and looking depressed. When the sprinkler stops, it picks itself up with great effort, lumbers over to another sprinkler, and sits underneath it, letting the water pour on it.]

He's been doing that all day. When one sprinkler stops, he just moves to the next. I think he's depressed. I tried talking to him, but all he does is look at me like he's about to die or something. I've never seen him so sad, I thought everything was going great! He's usually really happy... He doesn't train because he's way too concerned with going out on dates, and he's been going out on a ton of them! But I think the last girl he went on a date with really dropped it hard on him.

I don't get it. [He scratches his head in confusion.]

Action:

[The Volbeat in question is headed home after his 150th failed date. His little buggy hand slides across a wall as he drags himself home, bent over with sadness. He can't believe this happened again.

No girl wants to date a loser like him.

He starts eating some of the comfort food he'd taken from the date. He knew he'd need it.

The poor guy looks like he's had a bad night. He takes the wrapper of his food and chucks it behind him, not caring if it hit anyone or not. Bleh.]

He needs to get out! See some sun, take a deep breath, and see that things aren't so bad! Yeah!

[So while Martin is being kept in the medical center because he is an idiot and all that, Tiria the Frosslass is doing errands and such. She's the only one with actual hands so, y'know, she gets stuck doing that sort of thing. (No one trusts Boar with food.)

She's floating back to the Center after a trip to the bookstore with a Survival for Dummies book for Martin and more paper and ink for herself when she sees the depressed Volbeat.

Time to follow like the creepy ghost she is and figure out what's wrong.]

[Yuuna cannot help but snort at this. A Volbeat playboy wannabe? Come on that's funny as hell. But also a little sad, given how...well...depressed Volbeat is. She's joined by Suzume, the happy Dragonite poking her snout at the screen and waving derpily at Volbeat and Goku.]

Poor Volbeat. You have any idea what happened on the last date at all? Because dude, I've seen guys get rejected and take it badly...but that's kind of extreme. I've never seen anything like that.

I get the feeling this isn't the first time he's been rejected. He's come home a lot not really talking about the date and he always seems to have a new one every time he goes out.

[Splat! That piece of paper smacks right into Arcadia as she trots up behind Volbeat. The Parasect had just been out for her afternoon skitter jog, but with the paper covering her entire face she's forced to stop. Or rather...attempt to stop, but she's going to fast. Which causes her to bowl right into Volbeat and send them tumbling down together in a heap. One extremely athletic, jogging Parasect and one depressed Volbeat...just...on the ground together.]

[Oh no! are you okay!?]

[BAM Acardia slams into him, knocking him flat, which isn't hard considering he was half bent over as it was.

He picks himself up off the ground dusting the dirt off.]

[I'm okay, it's okay, don't worry about me...]

[Arcadia reaches out a claw and picks him back up, scuttling around front and handing him his paper back. And she's an athletic beauty, too.]

To be honest, he doesn't really spend any time with my other pokemon. He's always out working on something, he's hardly ever home!
