[The feed snaps on to reveal a concerned looking Goku, glancing behind him a few times before speaking. He seems to be in the Habitat.]

I think I might need a little help with this one.

[He turns the Warp Band, showing the image of his Volbeat. Sitting under a sprinkler and looking depressed. When the sprinkler stops, it picks itself up with great effort, lumbers over to another sprinkler, and sits underneath it, letting the water pour on it.]

He's been doing that all day. When one sprinkler stops, he just moves to the next. I think he's depressed. I tried talking to him, but all he does is look at me like he's about to die or something. I've never seen him so sad, I thought everything was going great! He's usually really happy... He doesn't train because he's way too concerned with going out on dates, and he's been going out on a ton of them! But I think the last girl he went on a date with really dropped it hard on him.

I don't get it. [He scratches his head in confusion.]

Action:

[The Volbeat in question is headed home after his 150th failed date. His little buggy hand slides across a wall as he drags himself home, bent over with sadness. He can't believe this happened again.

No girl wants to date a loser like him.

He starts eating some of the comfort food he'd taken from the date. He knew he'd need it.

The poor guy looks like he's had a bad night. He takes the wrapper of his food and chucks it behind him, not caring if it hit anyone or not. Bleh.]

[Estelle frowns, thinking about it for a second; then she nods, as she gets an idea. She slams a fist into her palm.]

He needs to get out! See some sun, take a deep breath, and see that things aren't so bad! Yeah!

[So while Martin is being kept in the medical center because he is an idiot and all that, Tiria the Frosslass is doing errands and such. She's the only one with actual hands so, y'know, she gets stuck doing that sort of thing. (No one trusts Boar with food.)

She's floating back to the Center after a trip to the bookstore with a Survival for Dummies book for Martin and more paper and ink for herself when she sees the depressed Volbeat.

Time to follow like the creepy ghost she is and figure out what's wrong.]

You really think that's all it would take?

[He's not so sure as he looks back at Volbeat.]

Vol....beaaat.... [He's muttering something about why anyone could ever NOT like card houses and the art of gluing them together.

Drags his feet some more. Man.]

[...what. She can't help but float over and tap his shoulder]

[He looks over his shoulder, surprised that someone was listening to him.

Oh! Yeah, he's fine, he's great! Yeah...

There's an air about him that suggests that no, not everything is fine and great.]

[Well... she's not entirely sure. But it can't hurt, right?]

[Right! Regardless of whether this makes sense.]

Alright! [He too, almost slams his fist into his other hand but remembers he's got the Warp Band to think about.]

But I might need some help convincing him.

Use some candy! Or some treat he likes. That'll coax him out!

[No, really! He's fine... he's... yeah well she's right he's not. He slumps a little. It's...this...are you sure you want to know because it's a little embarrassing and all...]

["Trust me, it can't be as embarrassing as what Martin's done lately."]

Oh! I didn't think of that.

Candy, huh? Treats... hold on a second! [Runs to a vending machine in the Habitat (do they even have them? They do now) and buys something out of it that he knows Volbeat likes.]

[Runs right over to his pokémon, offering it to him with Estelle in the Warp Band in tow.]

Hey, want one of these?! [He asks excitedly. The Volbeat in question only looks back up at Goku, and looks back down. No thanks.]

[He manages a weak smile back at her.]

Vol-ol-olbeat. [Yeah? What'd he do? That's your trainer, right?]

[Tiria goes into a long explanation of what Martin did: climbed a mountain despite only being not dead for a few weeks after a week of intensive training last week all because he wanted to find a Frosslass and then got stuck on the mountain and had to be rescued by his friends and their airforce after she made him post to the network about how he's an idiot.

So really, her first experience with Union has being stupidity. Nothing he's done could be that bad.]

[He listens to that story. Wow.

Your trainer is really tough or really dumb. He and my trainer would get along really, really well.] Volbeat. Vol!

[He still scuffs his foot against the pavement. Well, see. I went on this date with this girl and...well...it didn't work out very well.] Beat...Volbeat Vol... [He spat it out. Gah. Now he feels dumb.]

[Do they usually work out? Or did you really like this girl or was she a jerk or...?]

[He sighs. She...

[...ah. Tiria floats up and down a little, thinking]

[Why did she say that?]

[I don't know! I was telling her this amazing card house I was building, you know with four cards. The glue I was using wasn't very good, it's this off brand...]

[And the little Volbeat will go on to tell Frosslass all about the fine arts of glue brands and what not to choose when gluing cards together unless she stops him.]

[She lets him go on for a bit before very calming covering his mouth with her hand.]

Fross. Fro-frosslass.

[Most people don't actually know or care that much about glue. That might be the problem.]

[...Whuh...? But glue is so important, it's like picking the right kind of cards to glue together. It has to be just right.]

[The hand over his mouth is a surprise.]

[People really aren't that interested in glue?]

[Oh...he had no idea. Well, he does really enjoy going to the supermarket and finding products with the labels that has misprints on it. Did you know how many labels actually are misprinted every year?

He really likes the ones that have the incorrect colors on them, he collects those.]
