[With the quake in the Old City, Ezreal is definitely off his Delver job. Instead, he's making use of one of his other skills - Engineering. He's aiding with the reconstruction of Union, helping shore up and repair walls and fight off Pokemon that try to make the job more difficult. Help out?]

Well, if you can talk those plates back into place, please by all means go ahead. Otherwise I'm gonna need you to hold them so I can rivet them back in.

[She gives him a dry look, then puts her hands back on the board.

After what feels like a long silence for her (spoilers: it's not).]

Sure if you want, it's not that hard really.

[Yeah, it's a big deal for her, apparently.]

...all right. This is pretty easy, but it requires some precision. I'll hold the plate, take the rivet gun and align it over these areas. Try to be as precise as you can, then pull the trigger. Be careful, there's a bit of a kick.

That doesn't sound too hard.

[She takes the rivet gun. Wow, this thing was heavy, she wasn't quite expecting that. Okay, line it up and pull the trigger, that's pretty simple right?

Camille slinks over, watching tentatively from behind Ezreal's shoulder, as if something might possibly blow up. Still, it was like a train wreck, she couldn't look away.]

[She pulls the trigger. Right, kick back. She reels back from it and almost drops the rivet gun in surprise. Camille nearly jumps out of her skin and lets out a disgruntled noise.]

[Ez chuckles]

More or less. Next time try to hold it steadier.

[Camille clears her throat behind her tail. Certainly that terribly undignified noise didn't come from her.]

I was holding it steady!

[But the first one nearly dislocated her shoulders!

She scoffs, putting on a strong front.]

Oh, is that all? That's easy.

Glad to hear. Best get started, then, I'd prefer not to have to hold this steady for too much longer.

No, I have some training in crafts and engineering too.

[She watches closely.]

I didn't realize. I thought you went to school to be a delver.

[He passes the rivet gun back to Lux and holds the plate]

Well yeah, but it's not uncommon for most of us to learn some of that too. We need to know if a structure is stable enough to enter, and we need to be able to disassemble larger salvage without damaging the important machinery.

That makes sense.

Like I said, helping fix things up might not be my first choice, but it's important work that needs to be done so I'll do it.
