A Musical Practice

Who: The Love Live! Girls, anyone who lives at Hikawa Shrine, and anyone leaving and entering the shrine! And stalkers. There are stalkers.
What: Practice for performing on stage! Their first practice ever.
When: Sometime in the afternoon, after school is over.
Where: Hikawa Shrine, Union.
Summary: Honoka has finally managed to amass a group of people to get together as a little musical group to perform. They are going to try to practice together for the first time, and that could go any number of ways.

"Hello everyone!" She shouts once all the girls who she expected to come to practice arrive. "I wasn't sure where we could practice, but I'm so glad Rei let us come here and use the courtyard! So!"

She stands, feet at shoulder width, in front of the girls, looking determined as ever.

"We'll do some singing first! And after a little break, we'll try dancing! Someone will need to clap for us to keep time, but we can alternate who does that so everyone gets to practice dancing. And then! We can get something to eat when we're done! If there's someone you don't know, get to know them a little bit before we begin our practice!"

"Okay! Let's start!"

[ Quietly Maki responds, sighing. But she can still get at Nico...through her Pokemon. Turning to Ruri and the others, crouching down to talk to them. ]

Do you want to come practice with everyone? [ Luckily, being a Shifter, Maki can understand them very well. ]

Um, wow, rude? You should be happy you're agreeing with me!

Her pokemon have no idea of the politics of the conversation though - Except Kara, who's shaking her head - and all of them are enthusiastic about the idea of dancing!]

Well, you don't have to wait until later, you can come dance with us. Nico is just being a stick in the mud.

[ It definitely makes Maki happy to tease Nico through her Pokemon, though she's a little surprised in herself that she is getting along with Pokemon so well. ]

[Apparently, she can, because her pokemon are all bouncing happily at the news they can go dance and moving to surround Maki instead]

[ Yelling, it's always yelling between the two of them. But she's won this time, seeing how she's got Nico's Pokemon to side with her, even petting Ruri on her head, looking smug as shit. ]

Go ahead and go dance with the other girls, I'm sure they will be happy to have you.

[She's just... going to stomp her feet while her pokemon run off to get in the way join the dancing.]

[ Yell her name all you want, because Maki is taking her smug face with her as she starts to head over to the dance practice again.

But she does turn her head back winking at Nico, looking about as cool as you could imagine. ]

...geez, only because I have to make sure they don't cause any trouble!

[ Maki can't put it into words, of course, but it feels good getting Nico involved like this. Like she thinks the other girl is trying to hide from something she herself knows she would enjoy. ...Almost like she's been doing herself, though she doesn't realize that. But it doesn't stop her from reaching out to take Nico's hand, pulling her into the dance practice, laughing, and actually enjoying herself. ]
