Action:

[Honoka has made her way into various parts of the city, exploring it with her two pokémon. She's handing out the fruit off of Tropius's neck to anyone willing to take one. She also looks a little lost, and exhausted as she's just gotten into town not too long ago. She's been eating, but not what she wants to eat- and if you've got something tasty looking that isn't fruit, she's creepily staring at you, longing to have some herself. One little bite of that would be so great.

So much that she'll walk up to you and ask you where you got it after a time.]

[Now, after she's gotten a little bit to eat and sat down for a bit to rest from traveling, she turns the Warp Band on. The scene around her is of the sun starting to set, sitting on a park bench. Tropius is laying down next to the bench. Happiny sits in her lap, looking cheerful as ever, but tired.]

Hi! My name is Honoka, and I know none of you may know me yet but I have a favor to ask. I just got here from Caldera, and I don't have a place to stay yet... and I don't want to live out on the street! I would just need a few days, I promise I'll have something set up by then!

I am from Caldera...though I figured it would be a little easier to take care of housing when I got here.

[She nods.] I've got a lot to do here, so there will be a lot of things to plan out!

[Umi doesn't believe her because Umi is smart]

What are you in Union for anyway?

[Umi is very smart. And that's why she traveled to Union in the first place. The university seemed promising.]

Well... [She thinks back on it and seems a little more sullen than normal Honoka.]

It was after Gigas attacked...I always wondered why the people of Union were so close to their pokemon. It's not like that in Caldera, and I always thought there was more to it.

I'm not quite sure of that myself, but they really do seem to be closer to their Pokémon than the people of Caldera.

That's why I'm here, I wanna see why. I've always been able to talk to them a little bit, so I thought I'd talk to the pokémon here, too.

They're happy here, and I think that's great- so maybe they can give me a clue as to why and what makes Union so much different from where we live. I know I'll be able to figure it out.

I've heard that some people can communicate with them.

[Sadly, Umi is not one of those people. But hey, at least her only Pokémon right now is a psychic type.]

[Let's pretend she pointed out where in Caldera that is because there's no map.]

A dojo? I think I know where that is.

[Chances are she's passed by there before. It sounds familiar.]

Do you help them run it?

[It's very probably. There probably aren't any other dojos that do both martial arts and traditional dance.]

I bet you're pretty good at martial arts then. [She might know where the dojo is, but she doesn't know what they teach.]

I'm supposed to take over eventually, so it only makes sense that I help out now.

[Yeah Honoka's not going out past the forest for a little bit so Umi is pretty brave in her eyes.]

[Umi doesn't even want to be in the swamp! But the pokemon she's after lives there, so she's kind of stuck hunting it.]

Getting here wasn't really that difficult.

But there a lot of dangerous pokemon out there. Next time you go, we should go together.
