2nd Dream [Video/Action]
[The camera rattles a bit as Yuuna adjusts it, though the first visible thing is a screenful of glittering ice that gradually pans out to show a Pokemon's face. It wobbles a bit more, and then there's Yuuna, standing in the shadow of this gigantic creature. She's grinning ear to ear, but there's a hint of embarrassment in her voice when she speaks up.]
So...my Bergmite evolved. I didn't know he was going to get so big, though, and while he's certainly an impressive sight I was sort of wondering if anyone had advice for caring for a Pokemon this large.
[She reaches up, running a hand along it's cheek, the big guy replying with a somewhat subdued Luuugggg.]
I mean, I don't think it'll be difficult since Hyozan's a real sweetie, but he seems to be having trouble adjusting to his new size. He was pretty bad about crashing into stuff before, but that was when he was little. Now he's...well...clearly not so small, and I don't want him hurting anyone on accident. So, uh, suggestions would be great.
[She looks up at the big guy one more time, smiling with obvious affection. He may be an enormous ice block with eyes, and a hazard when he's not careful, but he's still a valued friend. After another moment, her gaze snaps back to the camera and she adds.]
Oh and this is sort of related. My Hariyama Hiroshi evolved too, and I don't want him to feel left out, so I thought I'd share. He's kinda been grouchy and jealous since he's kind of literally is overshadowed by Hyozan, so if you happen to run into us could you do me a favor and congratulate him? I think he'd appreciate it.
Anywho...yeah, I think that's about it. If anyone needs me, I think we'll be down by the lake resting and getting ready for most of the day. Then we're heading towards Citadel.
[With a wave, the feed closes down.]
Action
[Early in the day, anyone outside Union could hardly fail to miss the stomping sound of feet as a walking iceberg meanders by, a heavy duty blanket laid out over it's back. Atop the creature is Yuuna and the vast majority of her team, though a Hariyama and Hitmonchan are running along beside it, racing or training or something.
And as the afternoon hits, completely true to her word, Yuuna and her team are down by the lake shrine, just sort of hanging out. The human herself is laying out in the sun, head resting in her arms as she looks up at the sky, while her glacial titan has taken to Lillipup-Paddling around the lake, several unfortunate Magikarp caught in the wake he leaves behind. Zedd seems to have broken it's habit of orbiting it's trainer, but the Magneton is not too far off juggling several small steel balls by spinning magnetic appendages around it's body.
The green-eyed Hariyama is off in the shade, practicing it's hand-slaps against a boulder, while the rest of her Pokemon are scampering around playing. A little Larvitar seems to be chasing the newest member of the group, a small Golett, around the lake shore but who can say really? The ghost-type may just be humoring him. Gouken the Hitmonchan punches a bag held up by a Poliwhirl, though, a serious expression on his face. He's not good at laying off from training at all and never has been.
A relaxing day, really, and one she wouldn't mind sharing with other humans.]

[Action]
Heeeey, Yuuna! Over here!
Action Forever!
Hey there Goku! How's it going?
[Seeing the Machop, Hitmonchan turns away from his bag with a final punch and offers a boxer's salute. Hey to you too, little dude.]
no subject
Man, you weren't kidding about earlier. All your pokémon have really grown. [Machop is heading over to talk to Hitmonchan about things. How's the training? Have you gotten stronger? We need a rematch sometime!]
no subject
Yeah, they really are getting a bit big, aren't they? I mean, they've been working really hard. Gouken especially...but I wouldn't expect anything less from him.
[He is, after all, her very own fitness coach as well as fighting ally.]
Though I'm still not sure what to do about Hyozan. [Jerking her head out to the lake, she indicates the enormous ice-beast.] You know how small a Bergmite starts out...and then boom.
no subject
There's no way he's going to fit in the house, jeez. There's gotta be somewhere in Union you can keep him, I mean, he can't be the only one around here.
no subject
[Not to mention she doesn't really like staying in Union when she can avoid it. Not really for extended periods anyway.]
I mean, I guess he can always stay outside when I have to visit the house though.

[voice]
By the way, what do you hope to accomplish at the Citadel?
[voice] phone tag, so switching to prose, feel free to use brackets though
But that is not relevant to the question, so she dismisses it and answers.
"I think the first thing is gathering information. I'm hoping to get a chance to take some pictures, maybe get a little closer and observe what I can. The more we know about the situation the better, and observation feels like the best start."
no subject
Looking for their weaknesses?
[But there's a teasing lilt in his tone.]
no subject
If they're going to cause more problems for Union then it wouldn't hurt to be prepared. And if they're going to be more friendly? Then learning more about them is also smart.
Learning about what's going on is probably the most important thing we can do right now, so we'll have a better grasp of the situation.
no subject
You seem like you have some experience with this sort of thing. Do you travel out of the Union often?

He's tilting his head slightly in thought now, pursing his lips.]
Well, maybe you could make something like shoes for him with rubber on the bottom? It might at least help a bit with the crashing into people problem if it's easier for him to come to a full stop, that sort of thing?
no subject
That would be a start, but at the same time, he sometimes just walks into things without meaning to, I think. He did that as a Bergmite too, but it wasn't dangerous to people around him then. Now? I'm not so sure.
Though, maybe some padding around the edge of his back. What do you think?
no subject
[He tilts his head further, looking almost comically birdlike at this point, drumming one slim finger against his lips.]
That does sound like it might be a good idea. But... ah, if he walks into things without meaning to, do you think maybe his vision could just be a bit bad? I mean, I'm not sure where you'd find a pair of glasses for him, but I'm sure someone could make them. [Hey, why not a huge iceberg pokémon with glasses? It could probably look quite cute, really.]
And I'm imagining an Avalugg with hipster glasses...
You...hah. You think glasses would help? But...how could we tell what he'd need? [She's imagining him trying to read an eye-chart, of course.]
And how would he wear them? With...snerk...without a nose!
action
[ Other humans, maybe. But what about other Pokémon? Drawn to the cooler temperatures, a Beartic of all things has come crashing through the underbrush and is making a beeline (bearline?) for that lake and the glacier atop it. It's cold over here, it's actually cold! That's so amazing--
Oh, there's an audience here. The Beartic skids to a stop, but not in time to avoid sliding towards that lake anyway. Observant individuals might realize she's wearing a red woolly bow in front of one of her ears; it looks like that's been stitched with care. E-excuse her! She didn't mean to intrude!! ] Bear!
action
Really only Avalugg and Magneton seems unphased by the new arrival. All he does is keep on swimming, though he does make a pass to come nearer to the shore. One yellow eye swivels down to focus on the Beartic.]
Avaaaaaaa! Luuuuuggg! [With a voice that sounds like a landslide, the enormous ice-type greets it's fellow. Hello, little one. That is a cute bow you're wearing. Why have you startled my friends?
Seeing that the newcomer isn't hostile though, or at least not yet, Yuuna steps forward and waves.]
Uhhh...hi? You lost or something?
no subject
Yes, the bear just curtseyed. And is now fidgeting. There's so many people here, and she made a fool of herself - she's so sorry!! ] Bear.
[ She glances back the way she came. Her Trainer's probably following her, and then she's going to learn she did this. Evolving was supposed to fix everything! Why didn't it? ]
no subject
For her part, Yuuna steps closer and sticks out a hand to shake.]
Don't worry, we won't say you did anything bad.
[Nods...mostly all around. Golett doesn't ever say much of anything at all, really. All part of it's charm, when it comes right down to it. Avalugg's head leans down closer, and he expels a frosty breath, sizing up the impulsive Beartic.]
no subject
So she accepts that hand gingerly, being careful of her claws, and shakes it. Your consideration is very much appreciated, Trainer! And so is your Avalugg's nice frosty breath! ] Bear!
[ Behind them all, however, the bushes rustle. Something graceful this way comes. ]

It's with Grace, her mienfoo, Bolts the magnezone, and Helio the nidoking that Blue walks later onto the scene with, all three of the pokémon faces surely familiar to Yuuna. Helio was with Blue nearly all the time, and it was with Grace's help that Blue helped to teach Gokuen the move drain punch (a polite and spar-ready pokémon, though perhaps slightly socially awkward and gullible to lies). And Bolts? How to describe the nice but prone to wandering flying saucer?
Bolts makes an electronic sound upon the area opening up to the lake shrine while Grace and Helio stay quiet, and as for Blue-- ]
Heey!
[ She's waving, looking all around to each individual's location. ]
action
Which is why she's pretty much expected Blue would be stopping by to hang out and talk. The young woman's entrance is met with waves and smiles all around.]
Hey Blue! How's it going?
action
Not bad! Heard you'd be at my favourite place [ she lifts her arm with the warp band ] so I thought I'd come and visit.
[ But she's eyeing around, and points over to the hariyama. ] Oh, but let me go and say hi to Hiroshi first, okay? [ she puts her arms onto nidoking's, and proceeds to begin to 'lead' him over. ] I'll say hi to everyone else next!
[ Just as you asked, Yuuna. Blue does pause to say a few words to the mienfoo and magnezone, then goes to do as she said. As for mienfoo, he wanders over to the poliwhirl and hitmonchan, bowing his head to them and interested in what they're doing.
Magnezone, of course, is going to go and see what Zedd is up to! ]
action
It's not that he's...y'know...jealous or anything b-baka! Still he does like being recognized. Looking at his trainer, he manages a weak smile before bowing to Blue and Nidoking.
Meinfoo, of course, is received warmly by Gouken and Uzushio, and they'll invite him to join the boxing training.]
So, you...haven't met Hiroshi have you?
action
I've seen a hariyama and their pre-evolution before, but not Hiroshi himself. [ For a moment, she laces her fingers together ] And I heard you evolved recently too! Congratulations on that!
[ hands parting, she continues: ] Since you're so big now, do you think I could ask for a favour? It's a self-indulgent one, but...
Would you show me how easy it is for you to lift me up please!?
[ THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION FROM BLUE'S PURE AND INNOCENT HEART. ]
