Plot Description: Spring Gala at the Fabre's!

Every year, Judge Fabre throws a birthday party for Asch and Luke's mother Suzanne. Because she's a bit sickly, the party is thrown outside when the air is the freshest in the spring. Any and all nobles and those of high standing in the community are invited, but there are... ways for the common rabble to get in and have a good time as well. Namely, the part of the manor ground's fencing that was torn down during the earthquakes. That, or maybe the guards are having a good time too and wandered away for some ...action. Either way, everyone's eligible! There will be food and drinks (children, mind the wine,) cake, dancing and more! Don't forget the fireworks at midnight, it might be something romantic for you and your sweetie. Wear something nice and mingle!

Warnings/Notes: Nothing but fancy outfits and maybe a little alcohol around here.

[After a while of dragiing her around, Aster spots fireworks.]

Oh, wow! Look at that!

[Without letting her have any input, he rushes to get a good view and looks up. A smile quickly goes across his face as he takes in the sight, excitement shining in his eyes.]

[ Oh. Well. Fireworks. It was good to see Aster so excited over them. She looks up at them herself and smiles wide. Fireworks were always really nice ...

She squeezes his hand gently. ]

It's kind of pretty ...

[He continues to smile as he watches the fireworks. There is a sharp intake of breath as one of the fireworks explodes in the shape of an Eevee. With a grin, he points up at it.]

Look, Tonitrus, I guess you have a fan!

[The Eevee mumbles something intelligible at the teasing.]

I wonder how they're made to create shapes like that. Perhaps a book at home would mention it...

[He ponders it for a moment and then shrugs.]

Either way, let's enjoy these while we can!

You would get curious about that, wouldn't you?

[ She's enjoying this, though. There's no doubt about that. ]

Oh, look, that one's in the shape of a Fletchling!

[ She points in that direction. It was awesome. ]

[He nods.]

Of course! It's fine to just see things like this, and they're amazing, but sometimes you want to know to how and the why of something, y'know?

[Another smile.]

It looks just like Eileen!

[There were other pokemon shapes, of course, including one of Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Tonitrus's eyes glitter as he looks at those. One day, he would be one of those pokemon... He personally wanted to be a Jolteon.]

Nah, I think Eileen's prettier.

[ A bias, she has one. She continues watching, though, relatively quiet and just enjoying the show. Sam's pretty happy, himself. ]

Haha, you may be right!

[Tonitrus decides to climb up onto his shoulder as they watch. Aster smiles and turns toward Hilda for a few moments]

So, are you glad we came then?

[ She considers the question for a moment, then finally concedes to him. ]

Yeah. I guess this is worth the sneaking in.

[Have one of the brightest, dorkiest grins ever.]

I'm glad! Seeing you enjoy yourself definitely makes all of it worth it!

[Wow what a cheesy, dumb, dork.]

[ Oh, is that a blush on her cheeks? That's totally a blush on her cheeks. ]

W-Well, I guess it was about time we went out and had some fun like this though, right??

[Tonitrus flashes a very amused expression at Sam as he watches the two trainers interact.]

[Aster nods.]

Yeah, going out and doing stuff can be a lot of fun sometimes. It's a lot better having you and Sam to go with than it just being Tonitrus and I, too! I'm glad we came.

[ Sam's amused, too. Look at those two, being all cute and stuff. Time to make secret plans with Toni for matchmaking, right? ]

I guess it is kinda cool to be doing something with another human ... I mean, Sam's great and all, and I really like doing things with him, too. Still ...

[ There's something about human companionship and all. ]

[Yes, yes Tonitrus would certainly agree.]

I know the feeling!

[He smiles.]

And to think, we might not have met if we had not both been it that place at that time.

[ She smiles back. ]

Yeah ... or met again, really. I don't like to think about that, though. I'm just glad we became friends.

Me, too! and I wouldn't change it for anything!

[Tonitrus sometimes wonders how he can say such things with a completely straight face.]

[ She turns her attention back to the fireworks show. ]

... So. Did we want to find other things to do here, or do we just want to keep watching this until it's over and then go home?

I'm happy enough with just watching this until it's done. How about you?

I'm good with that.

[ And so the two of them watched the fireworks. With Pokemon. The end. Kinda. ]
