[This wasn't a broadcast Pamela was looking forward to making, but she did invite the entire city of Union to her birthday party, nobles and commoners alike. She's had a fair number of people confirming that they were attending, and she can only hope that she's giving enough notice for a change of plans.]

I have a bit of bad news. My birthday party that was scheduled for July 12th has been moved to the 19th. There are some ah...surprise major renovations being done in my grandparents' home.

[She neglects to mention that the reason behind the surprise major renovations is that her grandfather doesn't know his rock/ground types very well and thought he was picking up a geodude egg from the breeding center when he actually picked up an onix. A very energetic onix that hatched indoors. Oops.]

I do hope that everyone can still make it. As stated before, everyone is welcome. Please RSVP with five days' notice if you'll be attending for the formal dinner. Otherwise, there will be a buffet.

[The dinner will be a multi-course meal and of better quality, but some people might only want to stop by for an hour or so, due to scheduling concerns. So they'll be prepared to adapt as needed to their guests' needs.]

If you've already expressed an intention to come, you only need to let me know if you're unable to make it for the nineteenth. For those RSVPing, do let me know if any of your pokemon will be coming with you so we can ensure we have enough food for them as well.

[ And here we have Dick sitting on his bed again with his warp band. But this time instead of a Growlithe beside him there seems to be a small Skiploom in his lap. And when we say small she's small. Probably less the half of the average size for a Skiploom. And she clearly looks very shy, trying to hide herself from the camera as Dick gives her a few words of encouragement before speaking to the warp band. ]

So hey, I have a few questions. First--

[ he picks up Pip so she can be seen more clearly on the camera. She uses her tiny little arms to hide her face but her size can still clearly be seen. ]

This is Pip. When I first bonded with her I thought her size was because she was a really young Hoppip but she didn't grow at all before evolving into a Skiploom.

[ He lowers her so she can feel comfortable again in his lap. ]

And as you can see as a Skiploom she's still really small. I think she only gained two or three inches in height. Can anyone tell me the average height of a Skiploom so I can compare? Also, how many of you also have Pokemon who are a bit different from the rest of their kind? How whelmed are they about their differences?

Just you know, a few questions for curiosity's sake.

This may not be news to those of us in the Advance Party, but I'm sure you've all heard by now. Things in Caldera are indeed grim, but there is hope thanks to our arrival. Now is the time for us to work together, not just as citizens of Union, but as sensible people and pokemon alike. We should all strive to resolve this conflict with as little aggression as necessary, though I imagine whatever actions we see from Gigas in the next few days will determine more of what'll happen next.

Regardless, we'll be sending caravans from here to Union where the Council, as you know, has agreed to provide them with shelter. I expect those who have decided to stay behind in Union will be able to assist with these efforts-- Remember, every able hand helps! Whoops, I've been talking for quite a bit, haven't I. [ He chuckles a bit awkwardly. ] O-obviously, it's all up to you.

[ filtered to the Swords ]

All available members of the Swords who have joined us in the Advance Party, barring those whose experience yields them certain rights, are to report to Garen, Ky and I for instruction on how to proceed in our aid of Caldera. While you're here, I want you all to keep in mind that each of you is an ambassador in a foreign city, and your actions reflect not only the Swords' but all of Union. So please be on your best behavior.

Those of you who have stayed behind are no less crucial to the relief effort, either. While we can hope there won't be any sort of conflicts with all the refugees moving in, it doesn't hurt to be vigilant. The presence of a few of our officers would no doubt help ease any tension between the refugees and our own citizens. I can't predict that there will or won't be any altercations, but remember it is our code to act on the Savior's behalf, in a way She would approve.

[ Hans is overseeing some role calls with the citizens, idly patting his ponyta's side as he looks over some of what has become Union's supply camp. He looks regal and noble and wow, he's just such a prince, all decked in his finest uniform. He's going all out with this appearance thing, his smile warm and easy. Though y'know, with that horse of his he actually looks a bit... relaxed, for once. Not a thing that tends to happen with him around pokemon. ]

I think I'll name you... Sitron. Do you like that?

Plot Description: Spring Gala at the Fabre's!

Every year, Judge Fabre throws a birthday party for Asch and Luke's mother Suzanne. Because she's a bit sickly, the party is thrown outside when the air is the freshest in the spring. Any and all nobles and those of high standing in the community are invited, but there are... ways for the common rabble to get in and have a good time as well. Namely, the part of the manor ground's fencing that was torn down during the earthquakes. That, or maybe the guards are having a good time too and wandered away for some ...action. Either way, everyone's eligible! There will be food and drinks (children, mind the wine,) cake, dancing and more! Don't forget the fireworks at midnight, it might be something romantic for you and your sweetie. Wear something nice and mingle!

Warnings/Notes: Nothing but fancy outfits and maybe a little alcohol around here.

[ Video ]

[ When the black and white video clicks on there's Dick Grayson laying on his bed with some papers scattered around him. Homework? Random notes? It's hard to tell from here. There's also what seems to be an acrobat uniform and some flowers behind him on the desk chair and desk respectively. ]

So Union. What do you all think about this place? Or rather, what do you think about it from say ... a few months ago before those Earthquakes and those Team Evolution guys.

[ He frowns a little when he mentions them. He wasn't very fond of them nor what they did. But this isn't about them so he moves on. ]

And those Hot Springs! Pretty nice, huh? Though honestly, I feel like both are pretty underwhelming. I know we just discovered them but I feel like they could use some... decorations. Maybe some statues. Deefinitely a building nearby so we can easily change in and out. Just... don't disturb the Pokemon; it was their Hot Springs before we found it, after all.

[ A Growlithe jumps onto the bed and lays down next to him. He chuckles and gives the Puppy a scratch on the head before continuing. ]

As for Union ... well, the flowers that were here not last month were pretty overwhelming. I feel like this place has a problem just being whelmed. But whoever caused it had the right idea. There just shouldn't be so many.

I'm not saying Union needs more action because trust me, it doesn't. [ He sounds a little bitter there but he continues as if everything was all right. ] I just feel like it could use some decorating too. Spruce this place up a bit.

But decorations isn't the only thing this place needs. You know how the Swords are supposed to protect this city? Some of them are great [ He's talking about himself as Robin here excuse him ] at their job but some others [ cough ] like two redheads [ cough ] I feel like they need to get their act together.

You never know when something is going to happen right in front of your eyes and I feel like everyone, whether you're a Guard, Ranger, Sword, or none of the above, need to learn to get better prepared. That's all.

[ He nearly went back to sounding bitter near the end before he finishes off with his last two words. His Growlithe barks happily at the screen before he says his final words. ]

So what kind of improvements you think this place needs? Because I feel like I barely touched the surface of what's needed. Don't get me wrong: Union has been a good place to live. But it can be even better - and safer - for everyone.

[ And then after he re-positions himself on the bed he just shuts it off. Just like that. ]

[ Action ]

[ Throughout the Afternoon Robin could be found at a field training with his Zubat and Murkrow. He seems to be pushing himself a lot today with little to no breaks. Feel free to come and bother him if you'd like. ]

[the warp band video is as grainy and black and white as always. When it comes on, it's pointed toward the kitchen table. Laid out on the table are feathers. Three of them are about three feet long, and another four are between a foot and six inches. Even without color, it's possible to tell that these aren't just any ordinary feathers. These feathers seem to be made of gleaming metal, the individual barbs at the base coalescing into solid steel just a few inches higher.

Then, Eren speaks]

Hey. I'm finally done molting, so I have a new crop of feathers to sell or trade. Molting sucks. But at least I can make some money off of it. I used two of them to make new swords for myself, and then payment for the blacksmith, and then a few weren't really high enough quality to be used…

uh. Oh! If you don't know, Skarmory feathers make some of the best swords ever. They're light and just flexible enough to not break, and they hold an edge like no one's business. [Eren turns the warp band to himself, and he draws one of his swords. It only vaguely resembles the feathers on the table] You just have to take them to one of the blacksmiths in town and you can get whatever kind of hilt you want on it. The smaller feathers make good knives and stuff.

Anyway, prices are negotiable, but don't expect to get these cheap. They're worth a lot more than you'd think, but I'd figure I'd try and sell them over the warp bands first. I know there's lots of Guards and Rangers and [he makes a small gagging noise] Swords check the warp network a lot. [pause] Even if you don't need a blade, they make good gifts.
