The White Dragon
The people of Union have descended into the besieged city, doing everything in their power to aid the citizens of Glacier yet remaining within. Whether struggling against the invaders seemingly loyal to the White Dragon, or seeking out the injured and lost in need of aid, they take advantage of several hours of relative calm to do all they can. And for a time, it seems to be working - the invaders are not so very strong after all, not against the experienced Unionites who have surpassed everything from human armies to memories of gods.
But perhaps the might of the two combined is an altogether different challenge.
GRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAH!
The sensation is felt throughout the whole of the city, the rumbling of the earth itself enough to take down the more unstable buildings in its wake. From any point, at any height, all eyes are drawn to the monstrosity that has descended in the blink of an eye into the still-burning town center. A great, white dragon... Exactly as described by those who had escaped from the city.
Those with sharp eyes will see that standing beside it, there seems to be a human figure.
Its sheer presence is overwhelming. The air around it ripples with an aura of heat, but felt even more keenly than that, there is a devastating sense of raw power and control. This being... this god could burn down the entire earth if it wished. A city of Glacier's relative size... What chance did it possibly have? That the world yet remains standing seems almost a mercy. Its size is immense, its bulk several times larger than that of a Wailord, its height almost seeming to rival the tallest towers of Union, though perhaps this is an exaggeration of the mind.
It takes a step forward, and the earth shudders once more in its wake.
All across the frozen city of Glacier, every individual carrying a Warp Band will suddenly feel the device activate of its own accord as a video feed begins to play. Attempting to turn it off fails, and changing it doesn't seem to work either. Something, or someone, has hijacked the feed and is using it for their own announcement.
A tall, severe looking man stares into the feed, his lone eye seeming to burn with an unnatural fire. And beside him, only its lower body visible, stands the feet of the White Dragon, its fur outlined in crisp detail from this distance. The man gazes steadily forward, eyes yet alight with passion.
"So, it seems that this place has found someone to come to its aid. No matter, our plans will not be disrupted by insects like you. Still, it's good to know that there are humans left that understand the value of kinship with our fellow inhabitants of this world. It brightens my day, you might say, to know that my men have been facing honorable opponents, and not weak cowards that still cling to the old ways.
A pity that when we're done here, we'll have to come for you next. I won't lie to you and say we'll show you mercy, but at least your deaths will be swift."
He smiles then, a thin and grave expression.
Every fiber of those remaining in the city screams to flee from this threat. There is nothing they can do - they must retreat. But though their minds may instinctively beg for such a course of action, to do so means to abandon its people to a fiery demise. Can they truly run from this?
They must choose quickly... and this time, it is not a choice concerning a rabid creature, an angered and wild animal lashing out. This cold and calculated destruction, sanctioned by a god itself, so reminiscent of what was said to have happened in the past. To oppose it, perhaps, means to steer the course of history into terrible new waters. Choose quickly, people of Union. What answer will you find?
((Reshiram is a Legendary, and thus, the normal rules will not apply. It will be able to strike through abilities that would seemingly protect people, and analysts will not be able to sense its weaknesses. It radiates an aura of power that will inspire fear and awe in those who see it. Please be warned that there is a definite chance of injury when attacking this creature; however, despite all this, it is possible to defeat it.
Have fun! And enjoy some mood music.))

[She looks at the rest of the group.]
You are all from Caldera, yes? The people who communicate with Pokémon through battle.
[She looks back at the dragon god.]
This one might require a bit more than usual...
no subject
I'll meet it head on! Excellen! Let's go!
[He bursts forward, charging at the Dragon with flames blazing from his back, attacking it with an explosive stake.]
no subject
[ As if they practiced it hundreds of times
because they likely have, Excellen let loose a number of Psychic-based beams from her rifle. Floating into the air, she gets ready to charge toward or away the giant white dragon, should she need to. ]no subject
[ Sanger steps forward, Colossal Blade expanding to the maximum size he can maintain now: What was usually just a katana becoming a great sword as long as Sanger is tall, and almost as wide.
It looks like this opponent was going to be impossible to cleave through in a single blow, by virtue of sheer size if nothing else. It hardly means Sanger isn't going to try.
He leaps forward, Colossal Blade overhead, and brings the gigantic weapon down at the god! ]
no subject
It's sheer size makes even Sanger's gigantic sword look like a child's plaything, but the blade strikes true, along with Kyosuke's explosive stakes. Blood spurts from the injuries, but Reshiram seems totally unconcerned. The beams from Excellen's rifle strike true, boring into it's chest and smoking briefly.
One clawed foot reaches up and slams down, shards of stone flying up all around Sanger, Kyosuke, and Saber, an Earth Power aimed at each of them and the surrounding terrain. It's eyes shift to Excellen and the air around her seems to distort with a golden gleam, a strong psychic pressure building up around the blonde as it uses an Extrasensory attack.]

[Saber does her best to get out of the way with a Magnet Rise - the god's fire was going to be enough of a problem without it striking her with the ground as well. Keeping with this strategy, she summons her levitating Solrock associate who, with some brief encouragement through Warp Band empathy, charges in with Stone Edge]
no subject
[ The Extrasensory attack hits her, making her head spin. She manages to shake it off, but Excellen will certainly be feeling that. ]
Tetsujin!
[ Her Warp Band coming to life, the Golurk burst forth, flying toward the giant dragon before disappearing again, prepping a Phantom Force attack. Quickly grabbing her weapon, Excellen darts off in the opposite direction, casting Agility on herself as she does. Good luck hitting her a second time, big boy. ]
no subject
Looks like this is as far as I can go. At least while I stay like this. Saber, Excellen, buy me some time!
[ He plucks his sword out of the ground with a flourish, focusing his will into his blade's edge with a Swords Dance. But that's not all that happens. His entire body starts to grow outwards, an inch of bio-metal forming around his body, arms expanding into natural gauntlets and air jets forming upon his back.
If he can't beat this god in a brawl, then he's going have to become as powerful as possible and do as much damage in a single blow. Even if he's taken out of the fight immediately after that, he'll make sure that dragon feels it! ]
no subject
Good, good. Gather your power, mortals!
[It seems pleased by this, if truth be told.
Ignoring Sanger and the other humans for now, it's jaws snap forward, Crunching down on the Golurk and tearing at it's ghostly form. It's tail reaches up and swipes the passing Garchomp with a Dragon Tail, aiming to send it spinning...and then there's fire. There's always fire, but now there's even more.
A sweeping Flamethrower erupts from it's jaws, spraying across the battlefield to engulf Aggron and Solrock.]
no subject
[Despite herself, Saber smirks at that. She was likely about to die, but she could at least recognize a kindred spirit in the joy of battle.]
[Solrock relies on its resistance to Fire couple with a Cosmic Power to try and blunt the effect of the Flamethrower. Saber herself, knowing she can't stand up to the god's heat, strikes from a distance the only way she knows how - darting in at supersonic speed with Aerial Ace and away before the god can retaliate.]
no subject
24 hour advancement
Is this the best you can do? You disappoint me!
[The huge dragon just continues spraying fire, specifically at the Aggron. It can't exactly do anything about Garchomp since it doesn't learn Earthquake.]
no subject
Is all this destruction for your enjoyment? For this human? Why are you doing this?
no subject
[ Sanger is mad now, and that is rarely a good thing for anyone involved. This white dragon was disappointed, was it? Well then, that could hardly stand. If it wanted to be impressed, Sanger would do it, but it would come at a dear price. ]
I am Sanger Zonvolt, the Sword that Smites Evil!
[ The sword in his hands manages to grow even further, becoming larger than even Sanger himself, and he was not a small man by any stretch of the imagination. Ten feet was still dwarfed completely by the dragon's size, but the destructive power of the Colossal Blade extended far beyond its edge.
He kicked off the ground, throwing up a trail of dust behind him with sheer forward momentum, Colossal Blade trailing just behind him. ]
Colossal Blade Gravity Drop!
[ And he kept moving forward, straight past Reshiram, blade sweeping around his body as he crossed its feet, aiming to cut through its limb with a circular slash. ]
no subject
Ah! One of those fusions...
[Reshiram looks vaguely amused as it considers Saber much as one would consider a zoo animal.]
You will understand. It is time to remake this world... A second chance has been offered. That chance has been spurned!
[Sanger Zonvolt, the Sword that Smites Evil, does not receive any particular response to his bravado as Reshiram takes to the sky to back away from the sword. It might be nearly all-powerful, but it still had enough sense not to sit on the ground and let its foot get slashed off. The sword, though, slashes cleanly through its hindquarters - and the great god roars in pain.]
...Better.
[And in the blink of an eye, the fire turns off for a split second - Sanger Zonvolt, the Sword that Smites Evil, will be engulfed in a Dragon Pulse instead at nearly point-blank distance.]
no subject
[There's a strange feeling of deja vu again as she asks that question - as if she's asked it many times before. Saber ignores it for now and charges in to hit the god as hard as she can with an Iron Head, slamming herself points-first into him while he's attempting to Dragon Pulse her ally.]

Both human and pokemon charge foward, darting about at high speeds. Excellen fires Normal-type bullets at Reshiram from her rifle, and Pidgeot unleashing a Hurricane attack.
If they were going to fall here, she would at least put up a fight. ]
no subject
[ Sanger took the blow head-on. He didn't have a choice. The peerless Colossal Blade and the steel growing on his body were the only things protecting him right now, but if he was going to die here, he would do it on his feet. After the declarations he had made, Sanger could not possibly give Reshiram the satisfaction of kneeling.
His heels dug deep grooves into the dirt as he held his ground through little more than sheer force of will, and it was his turn to let out a roar of pain. ]
GAARGH!
[ At least his teammates were having a bit more luck now that the dragon's wrath was fully focused on Sanger. It even gave Gouwan a chance to pop out of the Warp Band, and now a Metang, it flew into Reshiram with a Zen Headbutt. ]
no subject
Tch -- !
[It isn't that forceful, isn't it? But the attack is so great that Reshiram is sent stumbling back, interrupting the full brunt of the Dragon Pulse and as well as exposing some of its underside to the bullets. Sanger is saved some damage by the intercession.
It roars in pain, caught off-guard enough that the Hurricane and Zen Headbutt knock it for a loop as well - there comes a moment's breather before it responds.]
Humans... are a blight!
[And its response is cruel. That last volley was too successful - the blood flows freely down its flank and the leg targeted by Kyosuke almost seems lame now. For the sentient Doublade, it chows down with Fire Fang, spitting her blade first towards the annoying Pidgeot in the air. Garchomp, the source of its greatest pain, gets a personal Dragon Claw as it swipes it into a building. The rest receive a round of Extrasensory, meant to inflict enough psychic damage to get them to back off for a bit.]
no subject
[ Sanger was lucky that he resisted Dragon-type attacks with his new Steel-typing, but having a legendary's full focus turned upon him at point blank range would give anyone pause, resist or not. So for all his bravado, he needs to take a moment to find his footing.
So he does, opening the distance between himself and Reshiram by leaping back, firing off a shockwave from his sword that's reminiscent of nothing more than a Force Palm (albeit with no palms involved) in the same motion.
Gouwan on the other hand, comes as close to ignoring Psychic-type attacks as possible without actually being completely immune. Taking the Extrasensory in stride, it continues to ram its entire body into the dragon god with another Zen Headbutt, this time aimed at its weakened leg and hindquarters. ]
no subject
[Solrock is long out cold, thanks to Turboblaze and those Earth attacks. Saber wonders how the god managed to hit it, but at the moment, her only concern is ending this fight, and her best means of doing that is:]
Gabite!
[The Dragon-type warps in, fresh to the battle if still a little banged up from the encounter in the wilderness, and immediately goes for his tried-and-true way of getting large Fire-types to kneel, or at least stop burning stuff: Sand Tomb. Saber throws herself into the attack as well, launching herself with the remaining power in her Magnet Rise to attack the god's torso with a Night Slash - she's not getting in easy reach of those teeth again.]

They were really going to die here, weren't they?
Activating her Warp Band, she sent her equally stunned Pidgeot back, only barely managing to avoid the Doublade shifter barreling toward him. No more lives lost today, it would end with her.
She was already dead anyway.Another Extrasensory makes her head throb, and Excellen cups her temple with her free hand. She descends a bit, losing altitude fast and nearly colliding with the wall of a building. Quickly recovering, she shoots back up, trying to hover above the white dragon, hands trembling a bit, the blond gives it a chilling smile. She speaks softly, a strange tone to her voice. ]
I'm going to get its attention, so get out of here while you still can.
[ One more hit, that's all it would probably take. But that didn't matter. She shouldn't be here. Let the living live, and the dead... well, do what the dead do. ]
Sorry, but I think it's time we went separate ways. I don't need another bad relationship.
[ Brandishing her Ochstan Rifle, she couldn't help but chuckle at herself. She was being a coward now too, wasn't she?
Drawing a bead between her gun and the beast, she pressed down on the trigger, letting out a barrage of Psychic-charged beams, darting this way and that. Pay attention to her. Notice her. That's what she wanted, wasn't it? ]
Come on, you big, ugly brute. Let's dance.
