III ϟ [Action]

[Jason sits with his back to a low wall in the Habitat. His eyes are closed and he appears to be relaxing. He rests, however, with a large egg in his lap. He can feel something in it stirring and he's pretty sure it's going to hatch at any moment. It's kind of exciting to say the least and he wished for the 100th time that his mom hadn't been off on a delving exploration now.

A Fletchinder, Piper, is perched on the wall on one side of Jason and a Castform, Storm, hovers in the distance. Storm twirls in the breeze occasionally but is mostly in her own little world. Piper, meanwhile, is staring intently at the egg as if she's willing it to hatch with her mind.

As if on cue there's a loud CRACK and Jason's eyes jerk open. He looks down.]

It's hatching! I...what do I do?

[He looks up at Piper questioningly and suddenly a little panicked. Piper huffs and flutters down to Jason's shoulder. She nips his ear affectionately and it's clear she wants him to pay attention. You don't do anything idiot, just watch it hatch.

Is anyone else interested in the show?]

[Ace is visiting one of his pokemon in this particular part of the habitat when he notices this guy sitting with an egg, and, curious, walks over to him, just in time to hear it's opening up]

I think just watching would be the best, mind if I join you?

[Jason looks up at the approaching visitor and then back to the egg.]

Uh...yeah sure. Have you dealt with hatching pokemon before?

I have one pokemon that was hatched but my other pokemon took take of her during the whole process, so nope, not really. Do you know what kind of egg this is?

[notthatjason]

Ah. [So this guy wasn't going to be much help. The egg shuddered and more cracks appeared over the surface. Jason watched as it practically jumped and rocked in place.]

And...uh...no, not really. It came back randomly with one of my pokemon I put up for breeding.

[he looks at the egg with curiousity]

That's going to make it complicated, you won't know what it'll do the moment it's born. Hopefully it's not something difficult to handle

Though it seems like it's ready to pop out
