[Yang is in a park in the business district, leaning against the wall of one of the towers. While she does, she's idly tossing a ball up into the air, doing some impromptu juggling. While she does, though, a baby Mankey is crawling around.]

Awright, Punchy!

[She cheers at him. He barely walks, before he stumbles over onto his face.]

You can do it! Learn to walk! Go go go! C'mon!

[And the Mankey... stumbles over. Again. Yang's grin turns sheepish.]

...'kay, so I guess cheering you isn't magically teaching you to walk well all the time. Good to know!

[Whoops. Thoughts ran together there.]

But um. Time is good, but you've also gotta get involved. Can't baby them too much, but you need to get a little wet.

[She looks over at Punchy, who wobbles.]

To teach a Mankey to walk.

So what, like... hey, Punchy! Like this?

[The Mankey turns and watches her, while she struts across the park, then back towards Asemu.]

That'll show him!

Hey, maybe that'd work! C'mere, Punchy.

[She saunters over, then she helps him with her hands. That, in fact, keeps him from falling over at first. Though, the moment she does, he teeters over.]

...hm.

Whatchu got here?

[Sync strolls up in time to see the Mankey fall again, and his new Mienfoo tilts her head.]

...Well. Kind of young to be walking, huh?

[As adorable as that might be...]

How old is he?

...I think he gets plenty of that.

[He'd rather not be subject to the Mankey Strut later in life.]

I mean help him keep his balance, then carefully let him go. Literal hands-on.

Ohhhh. Sure, seems doable! [She nods, then starts doing that.] You do this with your younger ones?

I've only had one so far, but yeah. It's worked out well -- actually, let me show you.

[Asemu activates his Warp Band. A few seconds later, a young Flareon is standing by his left leg.]

See? Standing strong on all fours.

[She looks up at Sync, then she waves her hand once at him.]

Hey there. Maybe a little, but you gotta start sometime, right?

[ember_celica]

Aw, hey, look at him!

[She grins, then she looks at Asemu.]

Detective Miller hasn't evolved quite yet. He's my Eevee.

[second_destiny]

[Asemu nods.]

Yep, I know. He seems pretty...

[He was going to use the word "happy," but he realizes he really can't apply that to Yang's Eevee.]</small. ...content with the way he is now, though. Am I right?

[ember_celica]

[She wobbles her hand.]

Maybe, but I think it's just that he's not sure which one matches the hat?

...Aha. I see. He does seem to really like it. I've never seen him without it.

[ember_celica]

He's a big fan of it, that's for sure! It's no big, though. I do most of my fighting for them, you know?

Yeah. Yeah you do.

[He tosses up a hand in greeting, and kneels down to look at the tiny Mankey.]

Hard to believe this little guy will be as formidable as this one soon.

[Tissi looks at Sync here, but says nothing. Reaching out to pet it, he looks up at Yang.]

Are you a Fighting type trainer?

[She looks at Tissi, then she nods. Punchy just accepts the pet, happily, though subdued. Yang looks at that, then up at Sync.]

[She studies him for just a half-second, before she nods.]

Sure am! I'm Enlightened, actually.

[second_destiny]

Yeah, I noticed. Good to be able to rely on them, though. You never know when you may not be able to fight.

Yeah? Me too. Dunno what kind, I just make things evolve.

[At least that's the theory he's got based on his Pokemon so far. He pets Punchy just a bit longer before he stands up.]

Anyway, I was wondering if you'd help me out. You seem pretty straightforward.

[Look at this cute magnet. Blue was passing by, but nope, had to stop and look. And she approaches Yang, looking at her baby mankey.]

They're so lovely! [mankeys are ttly cute.] How old are they...?
