[A woman sits poised and holding the Warp Band carefully so that the video function is working properly. She would perhaps be familiar to those that frequent the University or the "richer" circles of Union. If not, well, she's about to introduce herself.]

Hello. It has certainly been awhile since I used the Warp Band to broadcast. I was told this would likely be the best way to get the ball rolling on a new job I've picked up at the University.

It would seem that in addition to my research, that they are wishing me to take up a few classes and also meet with students who need help with their assignments. A kind of tutor I suppose...

[Despite her words, she does seem legitimately excited for this task. Maybe she actually enjoys working with younger people.]

If you are interested, my focus is in history, legends, relics, and research, but I am quite knowledgeable in other fields as well. I will be in the cafe just down the way from the University should you like to meet me for tutoring or get to know one of your future part-time instructors.

Just ask for Setsuna, please. I'll be here for a few hours and working on updating some of my notes in the meantime.

[She smiles as she holds up a pen as if to demonstrate that, yes, she is serious about this task. Apparently someone felt like working in a new environment instead of at their apartment for a change.]

{Action}

[At a small cafe near the University sits a woman pouring over several books and stacks of notes. She is reading and also adding to the notes at the same time. Despite her video broadcast, what you didn't see was a tiny Espurr sitting curled in the seat next to her. It is apparently asleep...for the moment and purring quietly.

Feel free to approach her since, despite all the work around her, she will be quite friendly if you talk to her. She probably needs to remember to stop and drink the tea that is quickly getting cold beside her anyway.]

[There is a tiny rustle as Sync's Spinarak lowers itself on a strand, staring at Setsuna for several silent seconds before it's notoriously eerie cry comes.]

[Setsuna is absorbed in her books, but when she hears the cry she jumps. When she looks up she sees the Spinarak and sucks in a breath between her clenched teeth. She's torn between running from the bug and not making any sudden movements. So she's frozen for a moment and just stares at the spider.]

[It stares back before it's legs twitch and it begins lowering itself more--]

Calando.

[Stopping, it's mouthparts move a few times and it turns on the string as Sync comes up, and he raises an arm for it, and the Spinarak cuts the string loose and crawls up his arm to his shoulder to rest.]

Sorry if he scared you, I asked him to help me look, are you Setsuna?

[While that is true, he does look pretty amused now.]

[Okay, so, staying still isn't working obviously. She forces down a shudder and takes a breath. She could always try to force it back with her psychic ability...although she's not sure she can focus enough and clear her mind enough for that to even remotely work.

Thankfully, she is rescued before she has to make a decision or attempt it. Her eyes follow the spider pokemon carefully as it crawls across her books (ew) and the table (eeewww) and up the arms of a boy (ewewew). She looks up at him, though her eyes seem to linger on Spinarak.]

Y-yes. [swallow.] Yes, sorry. Were you looking for me for the tutoring offer?

[There's a small smirk now. Sync wasn't expecting such a reaction after all. Calando sits on Sync's shoulder a moment longer before moving out of sight onto his back.]

I was, I was also curious how much you charged for it.

[She tries to keep relaxed, but doesn't completely return to her usual self until the spider pokemon is out of sight. She knows it is likely still there but she can't see it so she doesn't have to worry about it.]

I wasn't planning on charging anything, actually. The university will be compensating me for the time...but I believe they want to encourage students to take up the offer by keeping it free of charge for the moment.

That would be fine, except I'm not a student. I have reasons for not enrolling, but I would like some help on learning more concerning history and legends especially.

[Obviously he knows how complicated it sounds, which is why he's picking at his shirt idly.]

But if you can't help, it's fine.

Oh! I didn't think anyone would just be idly interested in the topic.

[She sighs.]

Honestly, you are the first person to show interest. I wouldn't mind arranging something if it's to help a fellow lover of legends.

[She offers a smile. She's reasonable and really she doesn't need the money.]

Really?

[History and legends were some of his favorite parts of his private schooling before he ran away, so it's hard to imagine why Setsuna hasn't been booked up already. Crossing his arms, he nods after a moment.]

It'd be nice. Do you need anything? I don't really like accepting things for free...

[She thinks about it for a moment. What does she need? It sounds as though the young man would like to give her some kind of computation. She smiles slightly and suggests.]

You could bring the snacks to any tutor session? Or we could arrange some sort of monetary exchange. I just haven't thought of a reasonable price yet. I could try to come up with one, or you could suggest what you believe to be a fair trade.

Snacks sound fine, actually. I've gotten pretty good with having to cook.

[After a couple years of practice.]

So snacks, if you think of anything else, let me know. I'm not an official delver, but I've collected things for people before so I know my way around the areas close to Union.

[It occurs that really he should sign up.]

Oh! You're a delver? I work fairly close with them since a lot of my research revolves around the relics and information they gather down below. I'd love to see any items you discover, even just to look over.

[Setsuna's eyes light up at the prospect, a clear sign that she does love her history. She smiles.]

I think it sounds like we have an arrangement then. What was your name?

Even better.

[He smiles in return. He enjoys history, but from a more pragmatic standpoint; learning how not to repeat the past. Granted learning about the cultures that have come and gone are very fun to theorize about, but he doesn't aim on joining them, either.]

Call me Sync, please.

[Setsuna nods.]

Very well Sync. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Is there any thing else we need to discuss during this particular meeting? Or was this just to establish future interactions?

Not quite yet. I just wanted to establish things. I didn't want to bring a lot of questions if I wasn't sure I'd get answers. Just let me know when you've got some more time for your tutoring, Setsuna.

[Giving her a parting wave, he turns to go, his Spinarak on his back, and raising it's head to stare at her for the first couple of steps before it crawls back over his shoulder, and the way he moves his arms indicates he moves to hold it as he goes off.]
