[Eve turns on the video to show a Scyther that appears to have been through a barrage of electrical attacks. Although beaten, it still somehow appears full of pride. Maybe that has to do with the fact Eve has a fair number of scratches and scrapes.]

My search for a strong Pokémon has been successful. This is Palla, the newest addition to my allies.

[She reaches up to wipe at a scratch on her face, only seeming to actually smear blood across her cheek. Eve winces a bit, but it doesn't seem like a big deal to her.]

I also appear to be leaking, and I believe this is pain I am feeling. How do I make it stop?

[Celes pauses for a moment, leaning back a bit more and bringing her fist to her lip in thought.]

Though that is strange. Usually those with amnesia retain knowledge of such basic bodily functions.

You won't be for very long if you don't learn these functions very quickly. I suppose just this once I can offer you some advice, though be sure to cherish it as I don't often give out things for free.

What you're "leaking" is blood. Blood carries oxygen to your organs, thus keeping you alive. Lose enough of it and you will die. Slowly and painfully, I might add. It's definitely not a pretty sight. Of course, the amount that's leaking out of your body is negligible. Get a clean cloth, press it against the wound firmly, and hold it there for a few minutes. You should be fine after that.

[There's a pause. Well, nothing she has left is exactly clean, but oh well.]

You should always bring something like that with you in case of emergencies... but never mind that right now. [The lecture can wait, making sure the girl gets taken care of comes first.]

Clothing can work too, if it's clean and you don't mind a few stains.

I don't mind. [Considering there's more than one scratch, what she's wearing is going to end up stained anyway.]

[By now, Eve should have an idea of how to reach Doc Botnik's labs over at the Union Laboratories. There's a first aid kit prepared. No need to go as far as surgery.]

]It only takes a little over an hour for Eve to return. Thankfully, there isn't much to worry about with her cuts. She'd torn off strips of her own clothing to serve as makeshift bandages.]

[Eggman opens the first aid kit and takes out the rubbing alcohol and cotton, along with bandages that aren't quite as improvised.]

... Really, you probably would have kept going if I hadn't called for you. And then what?
