[Friday - Mausoleum]
[The trek through the caves and the mine had been a mostly silent one, save for the sightings of wild Pokémon. After her accidental post to the network last week, Eucliwood had tried to fall back away from the city. She'd never ventured into the Old City back when she'd lived in Union, and so the ruins of the old city she'd stumbled across were quite new to her. Once there, she'd followed her Duskull companion and ended up in the mausoleum.

That's where she spent the day. Eu didn't disturb anything, although she wandered around, reading what she could. Maybe she'd find something about her original family, although she doubted it. Any kind of clues as to who she really was or to control her powers would have been greatly welcomed. While that didn't happen, she did find something else. A new companion. A Misdreavus. Unlike Yoruno's mischievous nature, this one was...better, although she seemed to hold herself with an air of superiority. No one was perfect, though.

For the remainder of the day, Eucliwood can be found wandering around the Mausoleum and parts of the Old City nearby. She won't flee if someone approaches, but she'll make no move to initiate contact, either.]


[Saturday Evening - Union City]
[After her relatively uneventful exploration of the Old City and Mausoleum, Eucliwood went to make her way back the way she came. Unfortunately for her, she didn't quite remember which direction the caves had been, and she ended up lost.

Wandering aimlessly, she found some semblance of a path. She didn't know where it led, but when she stopped, she realized she was in the one place she didn't want to be. Union City. She didn't panic, although she was frightened. There were so many people here. People she might accidentally hurt.

Dressed as she was, she'd draw attention to herself if she traveled during the day. So she did her best to find an out of the way spot to sit down and keep to herself until evening, where she felt more comfortable traveling. Provided the city hadn't changed much in her absence, finding her way back out wouldn't be an issue.

Feel free to spot her sitting up against a wall somewhere, or walking through the city once it starts getting dark. During the day, her Pokémon won't be following her, but at night, they will be.]

[Eu just shakes her head slowly. There was no need for her to apologize.]

It's fine.

[somnambulatory]

...Would you like to come in for some tea, then?

[notepad_necromancer]

[Tea. How long had it been since Eu had actually been able to sit down and have tea? She pondered over it for a moment. She could always head back out of the city later.]

Tea would be fine.

[somnambulatory]

I'm sure Papa won't mind. Bring Yoruno too.

[notepad_necromancer]

Yuuko too?

[And as if on cue, there's a Misdreavus now floating over Eu's shoulder.]

[somnambulatory]

Yuuko too.

[Surprised at first, Jinxie giggles a bit.]

[notepad_necromancer]

Okay.

[Just a short stay for some tea. That would be alright.]

[somnambulatory]

[Jinxie leads Eu and her Pokemon to her family's house. She knocks on the door, and there is a brief sound of a key turning from the inside before it opens to reveal a Klefki floating there to greet her. It is followed in fairly short order by a Houndour and a Vulpix. Jinxie smiles at the Pokemon as she steps inside and begins removing her boots, gesturing to her guest as she does so.]

I'm home, everyone. This is Eucliwood. She's joining me for tea.

[Eu follows quietly, occasionally glancing around to see if she could figure out exactly where in the city she was. It had been years since she was last here, after all.

She too, removes her worn boots at the door, following by example. The outside of the house had looked fairly extravagant, although compared to what Eu was used to, that was no surprise.

While she doesn't smile when Jinxie's Pokémon arrive to greet them, she does offer a sort of half-wave. While Jinxie might not know what happened next, once Eucliwood closed her eyes to concentrate, she sent out a single word to the other girl's Pokémon in an attempt to tell them that she was harmless. Friend. The only telltale sign that something was off was the brief look of pain etched on Eu's face before she opened her eyes again.]

[somnambulatory]

[Jinxie doesn't notice, but the Pokemon seem happy enough to greet Eu - Sable and Foxfire each wagging their tails as Jingle happily shakes its keys back and forth.]

Here, the dining room is this way.

[After properly greeting her Pokemon with headpats all around, Jinxie heads into the house.]

[Eucliwood is rather pleased that her Pokémon seem content enough. She didn't leave her empathic link open long enough to feel any responses. It was painful.

She nods and follows behind Jinxie, looking around at the decorations and whatnot, her own Pokémon trailing a bit behind her, exploring the house.]

[somnambulatory]

[The Houndour is a little shy, but aside from that, the Pokemon are fine with her being there. They trust Jinxie's judgement.]

Make yourself comfortable. I'll put the kettle on.

[notepad_necromancer]

[She doesn't require any further prompting. Eu gives a silent nod before she sits down. Most people would probably find her silence unnerving. Of course, the way she seems unemotional and cold at times probably doesn't help any.

And not everyone wears armor wherever they go either. It doesn't seem to bother Eu, though.]

[somnambulatory]

[Jinxie disappears into the kitchen for a few minutes, her Vulpix and Houndour trotting in there after her. Dokuro, for his part, elects to remain behind to check out Eu's ghosts, while Jingle seems to be doing the Klefki equivalent of strutting around and showing off. Look at her shiny keys!]

[Eu waits ever patiently. You'd never even know if she was impatient or not by looking at her, anyway. Yoruno is more interested in exploring his new surroundings and seeing what little mischief he might be able to cause. Yuuko on the other hand, is content to just hover nearby and relax.

She would have smiled at the Klefki if it wouldn't give her feelings away. Although she seemed neutral about all this, she really was quite pleased.]

[somnambulatory]

[If Yoruno strays far enough afield, he'll run afoul of Jinxie's Solrock, which has taken up guard duty over the various Pokemon-related artifacts and pieces of art on display in her family's home. Dokuro will hang out with him to make sure nothing like that happens, though. Jingle seems a little disappointed that Eu isn't reacting visibly to her jingle-jangle dance.

And eventually, Jinxie emerges from the kitchen carrying a teapot and two earthenware cups on a small tea tray, which she sets down on the table. Foxfire and Sable are right at her heels as usual.]

Sorry it took so long. Here.

[She pours each of them a cup, making sure to serve her guest first.]

[The Duskull would be awfully disappointed that he's being watched, but oh well. Maybe he can find someone to spook or something.

Eucliwood glances back up when Jinxie reenters the room, giving her a nod of acknowledgement. She taps her notepad with a pen to reveal a message she's already written.]

Thank you.

[Eucliwood holds her cup of tea carefully, taking a moment to savor the smell, the heat of the cup in her hands, before taking a sip. If Jinxie's paying close enough attention, she might see the faintest hint of a smile.]

[Dokuro's all for pranks, so that much is fine. He just knows the limits as far as messing with the actual decor is concerned.]

You're welcome. I hope it's good.

[Jinxie does indeed catch that smile, as she waits and watches for Eu's reaction before sipping at her own tea.]

it's all she does for the first few episodes!

[Eucliwood lowers the cup enough so that she can nod, setting it down for a moment while she jots down another note.]

It's good.

[somnambulatory]

Thanks. I'm glad.

[Jinxie's content to just quietly sip tea for a while so that her guest doesn't have to keep setting hers down to continue the conversation.]

[notepad_necromancer]

[Eu responds with another simple nod before returning to sipping her cup of tea. Good was an understatement. It was actually pretty amazing. Her only regret would be having to leave this behind when she headed back out into the wilds.]

[somnambulatory]

[And soon enough, both of them have quietly finished their tea. Jinxie glances over at the clock.]

Oh, it's getting late.

[notepad_necromancer]

[That really didn't seem to last as long as Eucliwood hoped it would. Glancing over at the clock, she nodded.]

I should go.

[somnambulatory]

Do you have very far to go to get home?

[notepad_necromancer]

[There's a fairly long pause there.]

No.

[It wasn't really a lie, but it wasn't the truth, either. Eu didn't have a home.]
