[Friday - Mausoleum]
[The trek through the caves and the mine had been a mostly silent one, save for the sightings of wild Pokémon. After her accidental post to the network last week, Eucliwood had tried to fall back away from the city. She'd never ventured into the Old City back when she'd lived in Union, and so the ruins of the old city she'd stumbled across were quite new to her. Once there, she'd followed her Duskull companion and ended up in the mausoleum.

That's where she spent the day. Eu didn't disturb anything, although she wandered around, reading what she could. Maybe she'd find something about her original family, although she doubted it. Any kind of clues as to who she really was or to control her powers would have been greatly welcomed. While that didn't happen, she did find something else. A new companion. A Misdreavus. Unlike Yoruno's mischievous nature, this one was...better, although she seemed to hold herself with an air of superiority. No one was perfect, though.

For the remainder of the day, Eucliwood can be found wandering around the Mausoleum and parts of the Old City nearby. She won't flee if someone approaches, but she'll make no move to initiate contact, either.]


[Saturday Evening - Union City]
[After her relatively uneventful exploration of the Old City and Mausoleum, Eucliwood went to make her way back the way she came. Unfortunately for her, she didn't quite remember which direction the caves had been, and she ended up lost.

Wandering aimlessly, she found some semblance of a path. She didn't know where it led, but when she stopped, she realized she was in the one place she didn't want to be. Union City. She didn't panic, although she was frightened. There were so many people here. People she might accidentally hurt.

Dressed as she was, she'd draw attention to herself if she traveled during the day. So she did her best to find an out of the way spot to sit down and keep to herself until evening, where she felt more comfortable traveling. Provided the city hadn't changed much in her absence, finding her way back out wouldn't be an issue.

Feel free to spot her sitting up against a wall somewhere, or walking through the city once it starts getting dark. During the day, her Pokémon won't be following her, but at night, they will be.]

[As she wanders through the city, especially if she's sticking close to the wall, Eu will likely find herself straying near Jinxie's neighborhood. It's got a bit of a reputation around the city for being haunted, and lives up to its name - the buildings are all old Japanese style, and there are Ghost types floating freely through the streets. In particular, a Duskull, a Misdreavus, and a Drifloon come floating around the corner together, headed straight in Eu's direction and followed at a distance by Jinxie as she runs after them.]

...Hey! Wait up!

[Eucliwood doesn't know any of these rumors. She'd only been in the city for a few hours, although it felt like an eternity. While she honestly wished there was some way she could stay here, as long as she held this power, she couldn't, or so she believed.

Her own Ghost Pokémon trailed along after her, although Yoruno occasionally floated off to do one thing or another. Probably frightening people. She really wished he wouldn't, as it would draw attention, but there was little she could do to stop him.

She glances up when she heard a voice, freezing in place. It didn't take more than a moment to realize it wasn't her the girl was speaking to, but rather a trio of Ghost types. Meanwhile Eu just stood there, watching curiously.]

[somnambulatory]

[The three ghosts zoom past Eu, and Jinxie very nearly crashes into her as she chases after them.]

Whoa...!

[As it is, she flails in place a few steps from the other girl before falling backward.]

[While the ghosts didn't bother her, the girl nearly crashing into her causes her expression to flicker to one of surprise for a brief moment, and she takes a step back to try and avoid getting hit by the flailing girl.

But luckily for Eu, and unfortunately for the other girl, the other girl falls backwards. She just...stares for a moment, before pulling out her little notepad.]

Are you injured?

[somnambulatory]

Huh...?

[Jinxie blinks at the notepad for a moment as she's standing up and dusting off her skirt.]

Oh, no, I'm all right. The ghosts were just playing with me.

[notepad_necromancer]

[Well, that's a bit of a relief. Although she doesn't show it, Eu is glad the other girl is unhurt.]

You chase them for fun?

[somnambulatory]

They wanted to play tag.

[notepad_necromancer]

[Okay, that made a bit more sense.]

Oh.

[somnambulatory]

Anyway, I'm sorry for almost crashing into you. I should have been watching where I was running.

[notepad_necromancer]

It's fine.

[No, she's not going to admit it was partially her fault for standing there, even if she does feel guilty about it.]

[somnambulatory]

Um... are you all right?

[notepad_necromancer]

I am fine.

[somnambulatory]

Is your throat okay? Do you want some tea?

[notepad_necromancer]

[It takes Eucliwood a moment to realize what she's talking about. Oh. She shakes her head slowly.]

I am fine. I cannot speak.

[somnambulatory]

Oh... all right.

Um... what's your name?

[notepad_necromancer]

Eucliwood.

[somnambulatory]

Eucliwood.

[Just repeating that out loud to make sure she's saying it right. It's a bit of a strange name.]

I'm Jinxie.

[notepad_necromancer]

[Eu nods to confirm that yes, Jinxie was pronouncing it correctly.]

I see.

[Is it obvious that Eu isn't exactly a very social person yet?]

[somnambulatory]

Um...

[And Jinxie is kind of awkward!]

[notepad_necromancer]

Problem?

[somnambulatory]

No... I'm sorry.

[notepad_necromancer]

Why are you apologizing?

[somnambulatory]

I wasn't sure what else to say.

[notepad_necromancer]

Oh.

[There's one of those moments of awkward silence, before she starts scribbling another note.]

Don't lose your Pokémon.

[And speaking of Pokémon, Jinxie might suddenly find Eu's Duskull over her shoulder, letting out a creepy little giggle.]

[somnambulatory]

Eep!

[Jinxie makes a surprised squeaking sound at that, not having noticed the Duskull moving over next to her.]

I-I'll try to remember that.
