012 [Video]
[Pamela's looking considerably more composed since her last accidental broadcast. She's got her Lilligant, Dahlia, with her as she speaks.]
Hello everyone. A general question for all of you: what are you the most proud of?

[Pamela's smile is teasing.]
I'm surprised you haven't hit your head on doorways while passing through.

It can be difficult to think forward when you keep looking behind!

[Although with everything that's happened, she really can't blame Fuuka for taking some time to reflect on the past]

[Not to mention how they just ended their relationship in such harsh terms]
no subject
Understandable. I hope you'll be able to reconcile with them one day.

[How else can she erase almost 19 years of her life without her parents?]
It's not weird is it?

Then mind if I ask a somewhat personal question? How about you? How do you deal with family issues?
no subject
I don't know that I'm the best example to follow, Fuuka. I think you'd need to be more specific about what kind of issue, though, for me to accurately answer that question. Everyone's family is a little different.

She only wished they could see that]
For me, it's about how my parents want me to be something I don't want. I don't have the best immune system and figured I would be much better at something else.
...But I don't want that and they just don't see it that way. Which, I guess, makes things complicated.

[She pauses for a moment.]
I...have dealt with that by stalling on research on the antivenin I've worked on with Ami, because I can hardly have children with someone if I might potentially poison him.
[She kind of sucks at dealing with these sorts of issues, really, but Fuuka's nice and she wants to try.]
I think it's best for you to follow your own career path. If you want to try having your parents involved in your life, you could...ask them to meet you somewhere for lunch. Just to see how they are doing. Don't back down from what you want to do with your life, but if you still show a willingness to be part of their lives then you can say that you have tried.

As for her friend, It seems like her family situation was a lot more complicated than Fuuka had originally thought. So with that said?]
Thank you, Pamela. I was thinking of contacting them sooner or later, I don't think I have a choice in the matter. They will eventually want to come and talk to me and...I'll just have to tell them that I stand by my decision. Including starting a business along with my girlfriend.
[Then she gave a slight hint of red but that's beside the point!]
Also, have you talked to your parents about how you feel? I know getting married is important but is that something you want to do?
no subject
[Ah. Communicating with parents about serious things rather than making small talk about research projects or noble parties. That...doesn't go so well for a family that's used to being distant with one another.]
I know I eventually want to have children.
no subject
But still...]
Then that's good! It already seems like you made up your mind as well! But I hope that you can find the right person! I’ll even help you if you want!
no subject
[Especially when she really doesn't trust her parents to know exactly what she'd like. They'd pick what they wanted and only listen if Pamela had logical objections to their choice.]
no subject
[Although, the problem was that Fuuka didn't really know anyone who wasn't taken yet. However, there was one person and even then...]
But do you know Waver?
