I think that sounds like a good plan, Fuuka. You can assert that you've made your own decision, but still say that you would like to have your parents in your life if they're willing to be a part of it.

[Ah. Communicating with parents about serious things rather than making small talk about research projects or noble parties. That...doesn't go so well for a family that's used to being distant with one another.]
