5th Patrol: Winter's Chill

[Gordon hasn't been out and about quite as much this past month, and, when he has been spotted around town, it's typically with his family. There's no red haired youths in evidence today, though, unless one counts a Growlithe.]

[The elderly man wears his old jacket, the one without the protective enchantments and no special features beyond just being rather good at keeping one warm. His breath clouds as he walks his pokemon, the Growlithe staying close at Gordon's side, while a silver Eevee bounds ahead, inspecting this and that, bothering any pokémon they happen to come across.]

Hey, watcha doin? Wanna wrestle? I'm real good at wrestling! I'll show you! Come on!

Buddy, don't bother people.

Well then, you're going to have to be sure to work extra hard in order to do that! Although you do have to be careful. I don't think trying to hit the lamp posts are such a good idea...

[Not to mention she was pointing to her forehead trying to tell him he was going to leave a big red mark!]

[Buddy turns his head on one side.]

But Fetch is fun!

[Blink blink]

Fetch...? I don't think I would call this fetch though. Isn't it where you try to return the stick that was thrown to you?

[Buddy continues to look confused.]

But I have to bring it to him first!

But can you try and get it for him? Perhaps maybe we can try a stick first?

[....Or was that rude of her to say that?]

[commissionergrump]

[The Eevee just rolls his eyes.]

But a stick is BORING. I wanna do fun stuff. What kind of adventure am I gonna have getting a stick?

[This all seems totally obvious to the Eevee. Gordon, meanwhile, just watches the pair, really only following one half, but he looks at the sparkly Eevee at the eye roll, and frowns.]

Buddy, don't be rude to people. What have I told you about rolling your eyes like that?

Well, it doesn't have to be stick! Maybe it can be with something that's shaped like one! And maybe something that's a lot smaller?

[She said with a chuckle before taking a good look at the both of them. Oh dear, was this something she should say?

She never had this problem her either of her Pokemon though. She...really isn't too sure what to do here!]

[Gordon gives a small smile to the unsure young woman, patting her gently on the shoulder.]

Buddy, how about this? I know the city is new to you, but I've lived her my entire life. I've seen most of it. Stop trying to bring me public property, or private property for that matter. You do that, and the next time I go somewhere I've never been before, you can come along.

[Buddy bounces excitedly at the idea of exploring a totally new an alien area.]

I think that sounds like a good idea! I think it would be a nice way for you and Buddy too what else the Union has to offer for you! And especially when there might be some new things you can keep in those lands you never seen!

[She gave a giggle before her shoulders started to relax]

You have to tell me how it went though! I can't wait to hear about it later on!
