Summary: Yosuke gathers up some of his friends to go on an expedition to find exactly where the city of Gigas is and takes the wrong way. Also to open up the area for bonding.

[It seemed like forever since they'd left Union, heading west initially to search for a city that held a danger that was brought to light several months ago by a legendary pokemon. Northwest was their aim, missing the desert as they traveled. It seemed like they'd been walking for forever. For the duration of the trip, Yosuke had been confident, but now that they'd gotten this far, even his will started to waver whether or not they were actually going to find what they were looking for.]

How far is this place...

[What else is there to do but start to complain about it.]

Numbers don't mean shit. Once we find 'em, we'll come up with a plan, all strategically and stuff. It'll be great, and they'll get dealt with and you can go back to being cool people and we can go back to being cool people, and it's win win.

Either way, no reason to fight, we're all friends now...

....I can't think of anyone but Gigas who'd mess with things like this, [Waver piped up from his hiding spot in the back of the group. While Sanctuary still used pokeballs as well, the people of that city wouldn't do anything this far from either their home or Caldera without good reason.

It was the only reason he had taken his gambit. They already had their answer.]

If they are them, then this is what we had come for wasn't it? [Ahri really didn't pay much attention to details other than they were going on an adventure and that she would love to join in! Regardless of anything else.]

You guys aren't the only ones they've been attacking. Ahri's right- half the reason we're even out here was to find where they were. And if they're seriously out here killing you guys? There's no way we can let them get away with that.

I do not know how the humans call themselves, but they have no love of us. We prey upon their domesticated Pokemon. They don't care for it, so they drive us out and cull our pack.

Maybe you guys should think about preying on something else for a while...or, you know! They'll try to kill you. Don't want that!

But isn't attacking them making it worse? If you keep on doing that, it just seems like the fighting would never end.

That makes this no different than a pack of wild Houndours attacking a flock of Mareeps.

[No wonder their pack was being attacked-- but things were too gray to determine right from wrong.]

Can you point us in their direction? We don't like how they're using pokeballs either, and we've got our own reasons for wanting to find them. Maybe we can work on solving everyone's problem in one go?

We could try to negotiate with them. At... the very least. There must be some way to resolve this.

[Ahri nodded, looking to the others as her fox ears picked up on the conversation. Narrowing her eyes, she finally chimed in.]

These were probably the very same hunting grounds they've used for generations, maybe even before human settlers... You can't blame them for instinct, specially considering the history between... Well I'm sure I don't have to remind anyone...

In any case, there's multiple ways to resolve that without coming to violence... [Unless it really was who they were looking for and she'd have a hard time forgiving the usage of slaveballs.]

If you wish to see them, travel toward the setting sun for three cycles. Were I you, I would travel toward the rising sun instead and leave this place.

Frankly, I think that might be best. We're way off course and we don't have the supplies to really make it three more days.

[Yukiko finally steps around Snor-Lord, patting him on the belly.]

Do you have any injured in your pack? I'm a healer, and if you'd like, I can cure their wounds. We didn't mean to give you any trouble, and we definitely don't mean to start a fight.

[But there's definitely a set to her jaw that says if a fight starts, she is prepared...]

[He's not sure what to tell the lady about the food being sparse. He gets that they need to eat, but he also gets people wanting to protect their livestock too. So he turns to the rest of the party, in agreement with Yukiko.]

You guys cool to head back? I think we found out a little about what we came out here in the first place for. And next time we'll make sure to bring more with us.

[To have them starve or to protect the other Pokemon. That was the question she didn't how to answer. As she bit her bottom lip, she really wished there were some other way to negotiate but it seemed fruitless at this point]

I certainly don't mind! We'll be ready the next time around and we'll be sure to bring plenty with us!

[She nods her thanks to the woman; then, she looks at the others, and considers. Yukiko's offer is made. Fuuka and Yosuke identified good reasons to go back.]

We should. We can fill in the map, at least. And... we have an even better idea of where Gigas is. And what they are doing.

[All the more reason to deal with them.]

[Ahri wasn't too content with the group's decision, but she knew she was the minority and as such she opted to remain silent after giving the pack leader a knowing look, hopefully promising she'd be certainly back to help her.

Afterwards, she retreated to her duo's side while the group gathered and moved on with the return trip.]

We need no aid, especially not from the likes of humans. All we require is that you leave our lands.

[He turns. He's ready to go. He's ready to not pick a fight with wild pokémon who also are lead by a Shifter.]
