Oh hell no! [The video starts with a highly frustrated and freshly evolved Fili. There's not much physical change, except for the handful of sharp silver quills that have sprouted from his back and utterly ruined his shirt.] I was doing a Gengar costume, and now I look like a Sandshrew.

[He sighs, and relaxes slightly. As he does so, the quills do too, starting to retreat and lay flat.] Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to ruin another shirt.

[Should you come across Fili in the wild, he's not looking so great. Quills sticking straight out and crackling slightly with electricity, face pale and walking stiffly like he's in pain, the young man will stop often to rub at joints and sit down to catch his breath. After all, it's not every day your skeletal structure turns to steel.]

Oh, wow. [Fili tilts his head slightly, fascinated.]

[There's a ruckus off screen and Martin's mouse tail reaches over to pluck his Spritzee away from where she was trying to annoying his Doublade]

They might also be able to recommend some cloth that won't tear.

[Fili's eyes widen and he makes a small excited sound. He's been hanging out with Kili too much.]

Is that a tail?

Oh--yes. My last evolution saw fit to give me a tail. I feel like a Marill crossed with a Mankey, honestly, just without the ball at the end of my tail.

It's fucking adorable. [He's staring at it still, eyes wide.]

[His team cracks up. Martin sighs]

So I've been told...

[Fili grins.]

What's your name?

Martin....the Warrior, to hear some of the younger members of the Swords talk, but I don't like being called that.

The Warrior, huh? [Fili chuckles.] I like it. I'm Fili.

Nice to meet you, Fili. You aren't from Union, are you?

That obvious? [He chuckles.] No, I'm from Caldera.

You've got a bit of an accent, that's all.

[He smiles]

How long have you been here?

Just since April, so not too long.

If you're still in need of any help, I recently finished building a sort of halfway house for new arrivals and people in need. You're not exactly a new arrival, but all the same.

Oh, wow. I think I'm alright, but is there any help you might need with that? I'm a blacksmith and there hasn't been as much to do as I had hoped lately...

Oh yeah, that's no problem. [Fili smiles.] When do you need it by?

Whenever you can get them done.
