Winter (?) Days

[After returning from Glacier - and a brief trip to the Ice Rock to see if any Pokémon there knew what to make of the Mega Stone she received from the grateful locals there - Saber has returned to Union for at least a brief stop.]

[Unfortunately, two of her new Pokémon are finding the temperate city unseasonably warm - especially Snover. Castform has taken it upon himself to help the tiny conifer be comfortable by playing with her - by which, of course, they mean covering several blocks of Union in a magical mini-snowstorm and playing hide and seek.]

[Normally, you'd excpect such Pokémon to be easy to find, but between Castform's natural affinity for the environment and Snover's natural camouflage, Saber has been very carefully chasing the two down for an hour now, apologizing profusely for the walking hazard all the weather is causing and getting increasingly more frustrated at her inability to keep small children under control compared to, say, huge sand dragons.]

I apologize to anyone in the districts near the wall today. I made the mistake of un-attuning two of my younger Pokémon for a moment and they ran off to play in the snow. By making snow. Please, exercise caution when walking, and please let me know if you see a Castform or a Snover being disruptive...

[The Castform's and Snover's antics have attracted a fellow ice-type who had migrated into Union from the North-- one who, while appreciating the strangeness of human cultures, found the weather in this city to be unbearably warm.

She shyly follows the two younglings along, trying to remain unobtusive while watching their antics...

But, it's rather difficult to hide when you're a solid four feet tall and have rainbow sails that change in hue with your mood.]

[It's an Amaura! Once Castform explains to Snover what an Amaura is, they hustle over to the bigger Pokémon, excited to meet someone who can make it even colder. It's much nicer when it's snowing like this, right?]

[It is-- and that's why she decided to find where all this snow was coming from! The Amaura leaned down and regarded the two smaller pokemon curiously, glad to have found fellow ice-types.

And, if they wanted it colder? Amaura was willing to help. With a delighted cry she lifted her head, and unleashed a short burst of frigid cold to drop the ambient temperature around them even further.

Let's make it snow so everyone can enjoy it!]
