I meant to ask this a while ago, but we've been busy between theater productions and Diancie's trial. Everybody came out okay, right? I figure that we would have heard something if things went badly.

Does anyone know how to play Go? It's an old strategy game that is played around Union. You put down colored pieces and try to trap someone else's pieces around yours. I have a new friend who loves to play, and I want to get better at the game for the next time I see him. Plus it's really fun! I think I know enough about it that I can teach people too, if anyone is interested.

I heard that there were other games similar to it too, and I want to learn those as well. If you know a game that sounds like Go and can teach me, I promise I'll pay you back!

Though it's kind of hard to take her seriously when she's still wearing her Count Noivern cape. It is very swooshy, very elegant, and very fluffy at the top. Natto is behind her, busily hemming the edges - she started walking before he was done... ]

[ Props are very important things, so Sanae is taking the time to make sure everything is in its proper, blocked off place and in working order. Of course, this means taking Lord Darkrai's rather impressive scepter and imagining herself as a queen, swinging it around gently and making what she thought to be very regal movements. It's very important research for future roles, you see. Her people need her! ]

[ She turns around, quickly putting the prop away--you didn't see anything--the young girl blinks a few times. ]

Huh? What do you mean?

Go's a good mental exercise. [ If Haruka saw anything, she won't comment. What's an actress who doesn't act, right? As applied to either of them... ]

Vanny! [ Thank you, Trainer, for standing still!! And hello, Sanae. Sorry he didn't greet you immediately, but he needs to finish this up before the extraneous fabric drags on the floor and gets dusty. ]

[ So that's what that was about! Sanae smiles a bit, nodding to the much taller woman. ]

Takuto's grandpa taught me how to play when we went to visit. It reminds me a lot of what I have to think about when I fight, if that makes sense.

[ Oh, hello Natto! She didn't see you there behind all those yards of fabric. The green haired girl tilts her head a bit, giving the leavanny a thumbs up. ]

That's really coming along, Natto, it's quite dashing!

It's really fun! You put your pieces on the board and you try to trap each other, and the winner gets rice crackers!

[ Okay, so the last part wasn't actually part of the game, but more of a house rule. But don't tell her that. ]

Yep, rice crackers!

[ When you're 70+ years old, rice crackers are a pretty amazing prize. ]

It's pretty easy to learn, but really hard to master. I didn't win a single time I played.
