I hope that everyone is recovering from the recent ordeal. It was worrisome, to say the very least. Nonetheless, it seems that some benefit may have been derived from it, at least.

Has anyone successfully done one of these new evolutions?

[Yeah... here's why she did text. She doesn't trust herself to not get emotional talking to Kyouko about this.]

I saw it in my memories. Inside of that cave that the others went inside of. Not the real thing.

[Mami promised that she would stop by Junes. She wants to go see it, besides; she could stand to buy a few things, especially a few things from home. But her friend boyfriend it's complicated really there's not a good word for him special cute buddy Yosuke works here. And that is more than enough reason to get her here.]

[You might find her browsing the aisles, looking over the various goods. Especially some of the clothing. Winter is coming, after all, and she means to be ready for it. But she's also looking for Yosuke, peering about all parts of the store.]

[And later, she's sitting down at a table in the cafe portion, sipping tea. Because of course she is!]

Ah, poke puffs. I know them.

[She'll eagerly await the arrival of the new treats. But some poke puffs will help. She pulls a bag of some off, then she turns to look at Yosuke.]

I imagine there must be a lot of work in shipping things from the homeland.

It can be a real pain in the ass...

[His voice trails off as he thinks about it.]

Thankfully, we can keep in touch with our deliveries. But I gotta admit...I do miss the place sometimes. [He hasn't been back to Citadel since he arrived in Union.]

Mm. So do I.

[She glances to the side. She isn't sure, exactly, what she misses though. The sounds and the sights, maybe; the little familiar things. But the people... she didn't have very many people there to miss.]

I should go back and see it again, sometime.

WOWOW YOU DON'T JUST WALK SOMETHING LIKE THAT OFF

[He feels a pang of relief at her words. Why wouldn't they miss it- it was home, wasn't it? He asks himself that, but he too doesn't have much of a connection back there save for his mother and the main store.]

I'll go with you. We'll make a trip out of it!

[That sounded fun, but any time spent with Mami was worth it to him.]

[Mami's hesitation about Citadel fades. It doesn't quite vanish. But going back with him sounds... nice. She likes that idea. She glances sideways at him, smiles, then she nods her head.]

Let's. We could go next week, perhaps? Ah--

[She grins.]

--We can fly, this time, and much more safely than the last trip.

I'll just tell dad I'm going back to take care of the next shipment. My mom'll want to meet you, if she's not out on Valkyrie business herself. My dad sorta wants to meet you too, but he's been so busy that we haven't had a chance to really talk about it.

[He says it a little nervously, now actually thinking on Mami meeting his parents in any capacity. They're not even really dating yet, but he'd already spurted out enough to his dad about Mami.]

Ah, really? [She's been without parents for long enough that... well, she didn't even think of this part of dating (or not quite dating, as the case may be).]

That sounds lovely. I'd be pleased to meet them both!

[And she's curious, besides. Will they be like Yosuke?]

Great! You wanna come over for a little bit before we leave? I'll have to organize all the orders so when I get there it's not a total mess. And, maybe I can make lunch for us or something.

[Which he instantly regrets saying. What the hell would he make? He can't just feed her something lame like sandwiches or something!]

Oh, of course. That sounds positively wonderful. If you need help making lunch, let me know.

[Because she likes to cook bake. Cookies, pies, and cake are the basic food groups, aren't they? She could make a dessert, at least...]

If you wanna bring something, sure! [That would impress his dad, he thinks, and he'd love to get a taste of Mami's food- as long as it didn't taste like Rise's.]

But, I'll handle the main course. [He says smoothly. Trying to convince himself he's got this.]

That sounds splendid. I'll look forward to it!

[He nods. He'll make something great. Maybe. It'll be better than Chie and Yukiko's cooking.]

Well, I should get back to work... [He glances over at a clock. He'd much rather hang with Mami, but on the clock is on the clock.] I'll see ya around. I'll call after work and we can work things out, sound good?

Mm-hmm! It gives me time to think of what to cook. [A wink.] Thank you for all of the help, too.

That's what I'm here for! [He winks back at her.]

Okay, talk to you later! [Yosuke gives a small wave goodbye, turning reluctantly towards where the back room was located. Not looking forward to taking care of stuff back there at all, but it had to be done.]
