[A: Text, to everyone]

I hope that everyone is recovering from the recent ordeal. It was worrisome, to say the very least. Nonetheless, it seems that some benefit may have been derived from it, at least.

Has anyone successfully done one of these new evolutions?

[B: Text, private to Kyouko]

[Yeah... here's why she did text. She doesn't trust herself to not get emotional talking to Kyouko about this.]

I saw it in my memories. Inside of that cave that the others went inside of. Not the real thing.

[C: Action, later, at Junes!]

[Mami promised that she would stop by Junes. She wants to go see it, besides; she could stand to buy a few things, especially a few things from home. But her ~~friend~~ ~~boyfriend~~ ~~it's complicated~~ ~~really there's not a good word for him~~ special cute buddy Yosuke works here. And that is more than enough reason to get her here.]

[You might find her browsing the aisles, looking over the various goods. Especially some of the clothing. Winter is coming, after all, and she means to be ready for it. But she's also looking for Yosuke, peering about all parts of the store.]

[And later, she's sitting down at a table in the cafe portion, sipping tea. Because of course she is!]

[She'd talked to Yosuke earlier, leading Mami to know that Teddie exists. But... it's another thing, entirely, to see him face to face. She spots the Cubchoo and stares at him for a moment. She blinks in surprise.]

[And then: awwwwwwwwww, he's so cute! She mostly -- mostly! -- keeps that thought self-contained.]

Oh, yes. Why, thank you! I am... [She glances around, considering.] ...attempting to find some snacks from Citadel. Something to remind me of home.

Well, I'm the right bear that can point you in the right direction. [He knows most of the grocery section like the back of his paw. But, in all honesty he's not sure what comes from where most of the time. He does recall an aisle that he found that was filled to the brim with snacks that were from outside of Union. Funny enough, it was his second favorite aisle.]

I can show you where the beary best snacks are, just follow moi!

[He'll lead Mami a few aisles down before reaching the one he was looking for. It had a plethora of brightly colored, packaged goods, ones that Teddie would of chowed down on all day if it wasn't for the fact that he wasn't allowed to.] They should be right in here.

The... the beary best...?

[Mami stares at Teddie like he's a creature of magic and wonder. (He kind of is.) But she follows after, and her eyes light up when she sees it. Oh, but this looks fantastic! Baked goods and snacks from Citadel--but also Caldera and Refuge...]

How wonderful! This is simply splendid. [She nods, then she looks down at Teddie.] You're Teddie, yes? Yosuke mentioned you.

[He's good at this whole job thing! Now if only he could quell a few bad habits, then he'd be golden.]

The one and only! [Well, the only Teddie who could talk.]

He did? What did he say about me? [The fact that Mami knew it was him signified that Yosuke must of said something. Obviously that he was a bigger than normal Cubchoo, but he wasn't sure what else was mentioned.]

He mentioned that you work here! I'm very pleased that he has a loyal coworker. [Nevermind that he complained about Teddie raiding the freezer for Topsicles, but let's not mention that. He certain seems sweet enough.]

He works hard, so having some help will be quite nice.

Well, I gotta make sure I got my friends back after all! I'm not one to abeardon them. [Anyone can count on him! Though in some cases, he can only be counted on at a safe distance.]

Going on vacations after a hard work week is also nice! Though I think we won't be taking one again anytime soon. [Not after what happened last time.]

Your friends? Yosuke, or someone else?

[She tilts her head at that, but then she smiles. Really, she was worried about Teddie at first -- she heard about the Topsicles -- but he seems... nice. Perhaps prone to accidents. ~~Or eating entire freezers.~~]

A vacation is nice. But, you can't take too many. They would lose their luster, wouldn't they?

Yosuke and everyone else that I know! [Especially since they've already done so much for him.]

Maybe, but I think they'd always be a bearrel of fun when you go with someone else! [It's boring to go by your lonesome.]

Hmm. Good, then!

[She's glad. Hopefully Yosuke doesn't get too fed up with Teddie. That would be unfortunate. Of course... that could be hard, if he keeps clearing out their freezers.]

That is true. Vacations are more fun with someone else. [a beat] As are most things in life.

[Maybe one day he'll learn to control himself and not be too much of a pain in that aspect. Maybe.

He nods in agreement at Mami's last statement.] They sure are! I don't think I've ever had as much fun bearfore I came to Union!

I see. That's very good, then. [And she is quite pleased by that! But... curious, too. Mami smiles, covering her mouth with her hand while she laughs. The bear puns are cute.] Where did you come from, before that?

[He can't help but smile at the fact that Mami was laughing. He's got another person to laugh from his puns!]

I used to live all the way out in the canyons, and it was pretty dangerous for a bear like me. [Horrifically so.] It's a lot safer here, since there isn't any grizzlies always after my bearhind.

The canyon, was it? [Her expression becomes more serious; then she nods at him.] I'm glad you're out of there, then. No one should have to live in a place so dangerous.

I'm glad too! [So many grizzlies, so little time to run and hide.]

And bearcause it's so dangerous, all other bears are living in... the mountains? [He sounded incredibly uncertain, and looked at Mami in a way that suggested he needed confirmation.]

Ah, I can't say I know, exactly, where the other bears live. But... I wouldn't be surprised.

I've heard people mention bears and mountains bearfor, so it's probably safe to assume that they do.

Still, I've never been in the mountains and don't know what's up there... but one of these days, I plan to go see it for myself! [Who knows what he might find.]

Be sure to be careful. And bring friends. After all, you never know, and it's best to be safe.

[Are any Pokemon he gets friends or Pokemon? Or both? She wonders. Can a Pokemon have other Pokemon, the way she bonds with them?]

[It seems rude to ask.]

Don't worry, I'll be sure to! [He gives Mami a reassuring smile.] It's always good to be beary prepared before going out!

[If she went ahead and asked, Teddie wouldn't find it rude in the slightest. It's something he's pondered before, and it's nice to see others take interest in the possibilities of what can and can't be done.]

Very good! Do... you have other Pokemon friends?

Sure I do! Some of them are Pokemon that Yosuke's bonded with.

[Ah, that makes sense! She considers, then, before asking:]

Did you bond with others, yourself?

No, I haven't. [He's only ventured out of Union once so far after all, thus an opportunity hasn't quite presented itself.]

I do plan on trying to though. I don't know if a Pokemon can bond with other Pokemon like humans do, but I'm going to try and see for myself! [He may not know, but he does sound rather confident that he'll be able to.]

Oh, wonderful! I think you can. Do you have a warp band?

[She tilts her head to the side.] That helps all of us a lot.

Yeah! A friend got me one after I bearrived in Union! [He holds up a paw for Mami to see the warp band on his wrist. This bear doesn't leave home without it!]

I can see why it helps with all the different features it has. [Which he's not familiar with all of them yet.]

Oh, yes. Are you familiar with how it can broadcast messages? It makes it easy to communicate with others.

[Plus the ability to tell everyone things.]
