[ Lux's experience in the caves was less than ideal. Taking a spill trying to help someone, she was in a lot of pain; more so because she had to play it off as if nothing happened. Her wrist and hand throbbing by the time she left Jack behind, she was admittedly thankful, as it had become nearly impossible for her to safely grip her staff in her right hand. She knew she should take off her warp band, but part of her didn't want to see the damage done. She had some idea, judging from how it felt, but somehow she hoped that it was like her run-in with Sakina--painful for the moment, but better within a day or so.

She knew that likely wasn't the case, but she could hope.

Thankfully the trip was short, and she managed to make her way home in less than a day. Fumbling with her staff, she did her best to try to open the door, struggling more than a bit. Why did this have to be so difficult? She just wanted to sleep this whole thing off. ]

[ A few days after their adventures in the caves, Lux comes on over the band. Someone else appears to be holding the camera, because her right arm is in a sling. ]

Greetings everyone. I think it's safe to say that a large majority of us are done with caves for a good long while. For those of you who didn't decide to investigate, count yourselves lucky. Really. It was an ordeal. I would know.

[ She wiggles her elbow a bit for emphasis. ]

I won't ask for details of what people saw, because I know for a fact that they were very private experiences. If you want to give them, then by all means, but don't feel obligated to do so. What I will ask, however, are other first-hand accounts of what you noticed, if there was anything out of the ordinary. Much like the last time I gave this survey, your responses will be submitted anonymously to the Seekers. If you don't feel comfortable talking to me, you can feel free to send them in.

For obvious reasons, I won't be able to write anything down, so in-person interviews will be recorded. I'm sorry about that. In any case, if you feel comfortable talking, please let me know. Thank you!

H-huh?

[ She nearly drops her staff as she walks inside, swearing a bit under her breath. Wow could she be any more obvious. ]

Oh, ah... well...

[indy_wannabe]

You. In. Now.

[He closes the door behind her]

Arm.

[ladyofluminosity]

[ She steps inside, immediately on alert. She holds her right arm out. Her warp band is still on, so it's hard to tell that anything is wrong, save for a bit of bruising peeking out from the edge of the band. ]

[indy_wannabe]

[He pulls the band off]

Savior. What did you do? Move your wrist.

[ladyofluminosity]

I fell...

[ She doesn't quite look at him when she says that. She also makes an effort to not look at her arm. ]

...Do I have to?

[indy_wannabe]

No kidding. What were you doing to fall like this? And yes, you have to. I need to see if it's broken.

[ladyofluminosity]

[ She takes a deep breath, then slowly starts to move it, crying out when she does. But it moves. Just not much. ]

The good news is it's not broken, but you sprained it pretty good. What were you doing exactly?

[He goes to grab a medkit and braces her wrist with a splint before wrapping it quickly with bandages.]

[ All the while she does her best to not start crying. He's probably being rough on purpose.

She still wouldn't quite look at him. ]

I... I slipped.

Take your shirt off I need to see what else you damaged. Also, context is everything. What exactly were you doing?

[ladyofluminosity]

...Promise me you won't get angry first.

[indy_wannabe]

Oh boy. I won't get angry.

[ladyofluminosity]

...Okay.

[ It takes a bit of doing, but she strips down to her under shirt, sitting there, her eyes lowered. How much could she get away with not saying?

Probably not much. Lux took a breath. ]

I was chasing after someone in the caves. I had to make sure he was all right. It--it wasn't his fault.

[ She looked up. ]

He didn't go after me, but he didn't have full control at the time.

[ No. No that sounded worse than it was. She shook her head. ]

There was a lot of ice. I wasn't watching where I was running, and I slipped.

[He starts prodding at her bruised torso, looking for breaks or cracks in her ribs]

Ice type?

[ladyofluminosity]

[ He gets a few minor winces, but nothing major. Lux hesitates before nodding. ]

And ghost. He... What do you know about homunculi?

[indy_wannabe]

Not too much more than anyone else. But they're unstable, like the Enhanced.

[He gets out some rubbing alcohol and starts disinfecting some of the more major scrapes]

[ladyofluminosity]

[ Anything but the rubbing alcohol. She whimpers quite a bit, but doesn't struggle as much. ]

He lost control in the caves. It was an accident. I'm not sure he actually knows I was hurt. I'd rather keep it that way, he seems fragile enough as it is.

While that's probably a good idea you're gonna be in that sling for at least a few weeks. Maybe even a month.

[ladyofluminosity]

A whole month? Really?

[indy_wannabe]

You did a number on it. How long did you go without wrapping it? You made it way worse than it should be.

[ladyofluminosity]

Once we got away from the caves, I did what I could. I didn't want him to see. It was hard, especially using my staff. I wasn't sure I would be able to keep holding onto it, to be honest.

[ She did nearly drop it more than a few times. ]

Yeah, don't do that next time. Because now I have to do this.

[Oh look that's a lot of disinfectant being dumped on your wrist Lux]

[ladyofluminosity]

[ She cries out in pain. ]

EZREAL!

Hold still.

[Commence swabbing]

Ow ow ow, do you have to be so aggressive about this? I think you might be enjoying it.

[ She gives him a pathetic look. ]
