001 - Action

[Things had been a bit boring for Ace lately, after the earthquake things had been crazy but now that it had calmed down he really had nothing to do. Except walk around the city with his faithful companion, Candle, floating by his side.

He was hoping to find something good to eat, and maybe finding someone who was as bored as he was. He passed a few stands, a lot of the fruits seemed delicious, but he really wasn't sure what he wanted to eat.]

Hey Candle, what you think I should get??

[He turned to look at his pokemon but he wasn't there, instead he was a few metres away, floating in circles around someone. Ace walked over to the person and tried to take his Litwick off the floor, but the candle just floated away from him]

I'm very sorry, he has a thing for bothering people, and umm if you wouldn't mind, can you help me catch him?

[It's probably a good thing that you turned up, because by the time you do, Kaido is almost snarling at the mon circling him. His Flabébé is more curious, though, carefully coming closer to investigate]

The candle's yours?

Ah, yeah, sorry about that

[Ace tries to catch the litwick without much success, Candle just moves away making a sound that sounds like giggling. Ace just sighs]

He usually doesn't do this, I mean, he goes after people he already knows, but lately he's been really playful and yeah I don't really know how to make him stop

By the way, name's Ace! What's yours? [he's way too happy for his pokemon to be pissing off strangers, really]

[Flabébé lets out a little giggle of her own and flies closer]

nice to meet you!

[Ace stares at the Flabébé and smiles]

Your Pokemon seems really friendly, and cute. Do you think he likes Candle? oh by the way by Litwick's name is Candle. [He turns to the Flabébé, speaking directly to the Pokemon] Oh little flower be careful, Candle might burn you if you touch his head!

[And a fairy type, not a grass type... not that they like fire too much either. He trusts her to know that, though.

Flabébé will smile and wave at you. She gets it!]

oh! I'm sorry! I didn't realize your Pokemon was a girl, I'm so used to Candle that I tend to make every Pokemon out like him

[Ace waves at the Flabébé and smiles at her, he's not very good with Pokemon unless they're fire types] If you could help me out and teach Candle how to behave as nicely as you that'd be great!

[He talks to Kaido now, not even stopping to breathe, this man talks too much when he's happy] I never saw a Pokemon like yours, she's really cute and it seems like you two get along really well

[Meanwhile, Flabébé is approaching Candle again. Why were you tailing Kaido? Were you bored? Can we play?]

[now he's really surprised because wow a fairy]

Really? your Pokemon the first fairy type I see!! I didn't know they came only in female though, why is that? It's so awesome you've known each other for so long, me and Candle have been together for awhile only but I love him, he makes me smile

[who is currently staring at the Flabébé and swinging his arms around him, his little fire flinging from one side to the other. Your human is really interesting, his hair is a pretty colour! and Ace was bored so he wanted someone to play with, I wanted to help him! and of course we can play]

[Flabébé laughs. Kaido isn't very good at playing! Unless it's play-fighting. And teasing Atsuro.

And if you like pretty things... she'll create a tiny version of Fairy Wind. It won't hit anybody, but you can look at all the sparkles]

I have no idea. It's only her species. Atsuro's the one you'd want to ask.

[God how do you talk so much? (You'd think he'd be used to it)]

[Ace is willing to play and fight with anyone really, he has a tendency to mix the two and always ends up laughing no matter what. Candle likes playing with him but it's difficult when he's so much smaller than his best friend.

And here's nothing more than Candle likes than seeing pretty things that light up. His fire just gets a little more flickery and he makes a really excited sound and starts floating around Flabébé because wow he really, really wants to see this!!]

Huh, now I wonder if there's a Fairy type that's also Fire, she would fit in so well with us! [maybe one day this man will figure out he can have something other than fire everything, but today is not that day] Who's Atsuro? Is he someone you know? wait if he's an expert on Pookemon and their types maybe he can help me out finding one that would like us!

[This guy doesn't know what it's like to be quiet when he gets along with whoever's talking. Unless you give him food, in which case he'll just talk a little less. Though he finds it a bit interesting that you don't speak much in general]

Atsuro's-- [... the little brother figure of his dead brother's fiancée...] ... family. [Yeah that'll do it]

He knows tons of shit about pokemon. You'll face a big pokemon trying to kill you and he'll still remember which moves it's supposed to know or not know. [It's both "Atsuro sort out your priorities" and him being really impressed with the way his brain doesn't cave under pressure]

[Flabébé's happy that her entertainment is appreciated. She smiles and does i t again, this time trying to create a small spiral]

This Atsuro guy sound really smart [unlike this idiot's own family, they're all the same really] It'd be fun to meet him and ask him all kinds of things. I think he'd be very good to guiding others.

[Candle floats in a circle, a little wax falling from his head, but he claps happily, entertained with how cute Flabébé's attack looks, he doesn't want to know how bad it feels though. He wants to impress the fairy pokemon and does his best to make a small fire spin away from the flower to try to impress her too without hurting her. The fire just rolls around a few times and disappears as fast as it showed up]

[ Oh ooop she was going to sock it. Or have the Phantump floating near her head scare it off. As it is, though, this guy turned up and- ]

Depends how you mean help.

[He wasn't expecting this girl to be so serious, but he stares at the pokemon floating around her and smiles, it looks really cute]

I was hoping maybe a way to get him to stop bothering you, but he seems to like you so that's going to be a bit hard. [the Litwick just makes a sound as if laughing and floats a bit higher]

Ah sorry for being rude, my name is Ace, this little idiot is Candle, nice to meet you! ...and bother you! ...err, I mean sorry for bothering you!

[ ... You know maybe she should leap up and get him. Mostly she was asking if he meant it to scare it or knock it out until it stopped being annoying or something less serious. But really, she's probably just too battle-minded, it's always been a fault of hers when it comes to Pokemon. She looks up at the Candle, and then snorts-]

It's fine, it's not that bad yet. I'm Melaka. [ And she jabs a thumb at the Phantump, he gives an awkward sort of floating bow of greeting ]

That's Sneak.

[merameranomi]

Nice to meet you Melaka, and Sneak.

[In that particular moment Candle decides he wants to go bother Sneak, maybe a way of greeting the little stump, but that meant now there was a ghost candle floating around Melaka's head and oh god Ace was getting worried]

Umm... just a precaution about that [he points at his Litwick] he tends to dip his head down quite a bit so you might want to be careful, he's not very conscientious about his fire... or wax. He's just not very careful at all

[He avoids to say that's his fault for never teaching Candle to behave]

[ Wow, you didn't teach it to be more careful. This look on her face says it all. Such flat. ]

... Okay. So we gotta get him to stop hassling people. Nice to meet you though.

[ Seank, meanwhile, was going to wave with a shy greeting until the fire thing floats towards her. She's still part grass, and while she's no coward she does start to shy away from that. Float back... ]

[Ace is forever going to be a kid at heart, seriously.]

If you could give me some pointers that would be fantastic, I've tried talking to him but he's not very attentive. and nice to meet you too!

[He turns to Candle who's trying to get closer to Sneak, and sighs] please don't burn the little Sneak, and stop trying to grab her please.

[He scratches his head and smiles a bit] It seems like I'm going to be apologizing a lot today, but sorry for that too. Sneak seems a lot different than Candle

[ Pointers. Wait, wait, is she being asked for pointers on training a pokemon? She, who had her first bond a month or so ago. Thrown off by that, she starts to say something-

Until Sneak finally loses her cool a little. And then she grows to several times her size! She also grows a scary face and looms over both Ace and Candle - an Astonish to show how tough she is. Melaka... should have been expecting that. But she ends up smiling a bit to herself.

... Not that much more behaved ]

[Candle shrieks and goes to hide around Melaka's legs. Ace is surprised but just starts laughing, trying really hard to to look at his Litwick, who's now giving him a mean look. But he can't stop]

that--- that was amazing. I'm sorry Candle you-- you're a dork, come here [Candle doesn't move, he just turns away from Ace]

I think Sneak is really something, you've done a great job with him

She's been good, yeah. [ and at Ace's laugh... she laughs too. Sneak shrinks down to normal size too and makes to hide behind Melaka's head. And the woman herself just keeps giggling to herself. A little proud to be praised like this ]

She actually messed with me when I first met her.

[ and now she herself crouches down to try to reach down and grab Candle. Which might be easier said than done, given the ghost. And her being a fighting type... ]

[Ace smiles broadly, hearing the girl laugh made him feel a bit happier, and Candle just looks up at her curiously]

Really? That must have been a big surprise, Candle just came over and played with my hair the whole time

[Candle looks at the hand and approaches slowly, his fire burning a bit more intensely. He extends his little hand and touches the tip of one of her fingers]

I met her out in the Verdant Forest. Tried to jack my bread and caught me up in a Confuse Ray.

[ Okay, so Candle's touching her, so now she can try to pick him up. Let's grab him! Hah!

Sneak, meanwhile, looks a little bit proud of her handiwork. Or the memory of it ]

That would explain why you named her Sneak, she's a sneaky little ghost. And pretty smart too, Candle here just pulled my hair when I was out in the Scorched Forest, it scared the crap out of me.

[Candle lets out a small yelp and his fire gets a bit stronger, but he calms down and makes sure not to fall from her hands. He smiles up at you moves his little hands.

Ace just looks at Sneak and really wants to pet her, but doesn't really know how to go about it so he just turns his head to the pokemon]

Is it ok if I pet your head??
