How has everyone been? Cordelia and I have been quite busy of late, my apologies for being unavailable. Married life is, as it happens, keeps your free time rather limited, but I must say it is highly recommended! The recent contact with the city of Sanctuary has lead to some rather interesting revelations! I'd always noticed my abilities were somewhat different from that of the normal Enlightened. Once I learned the name, it all fell into place, and my eyes were able to reveal the truth. Apparently, I am Magi, as the Enlightened of Sanctuary are. It's a rather fascinating development! I still am not certain how I ended up here at all, but it would explain why nobody has recognized me before. Perhaps I managed to make it near to Union before meeting a grisly end, only to reawaken alive and bereft of memory within the Forest Shrine! At the very least it's interesting to speculate about.

Yeah I know! But to think, I might be able to find the love of my life one day. That just seems a little scary to me.

Not at all! She found me at the Forest Shrine when I had no memory of who I was or where I came from.

Ah!

That sounds really romantic, kind of like the start to one of those fantasy novels I would read! That seems really idyllic.

I suppose it rather is. I'll have to mention that to my wife, she's quite fond of those novels herself.

If she doesn't mind, I know a lot of other books she can read! I know the library like I live there!

Ah, but she does indeed use the library quite often. We both do, in all honesty. We are a family of readers.

No worries, I suppose it is not an unusual to think, "Mage" evokes the image of a powerful, wizened old man.

It certainly does! But I'm impressed, to think that a young girl could be a mage though...!

Judging by our own standards, it's rather young, but there are outliers. I suspect she will be quite talented when she grows up. The signs are all there.

Then I look forward to see what she will become later in life! Although, I must admit, I’m kind of envious that she has that kind of ability!
