Who: The people of Union and all their wonderful friends who can be bothered to take a vacation.
Where: The Tropical Island

What: Union's more-than-annual beach party. Open log, tag around!

The sun is shining, the Wingull are squawking, and the beach of the Tropical Island is as beautiful as always. The whole city has more or less been effectively encouraged to come out, especially people who need to recover from the shenanigans in Sanctuary. The air is filled with the sounds and smells of Citadel visitors grilling, the expected murmurs of shock at Calderan fashions hitting the place where they're most practical, and of course, the colorful sights of everyone having a good time. There's lots of places to see and things to do on the island, and now's the time to enjoy them.

Thanks, but it's fine. She always said it's better to retire gracefully than to cling on to just living. She lived a full life and passed on.

[ He misses her of course, but he could still talk about her candidly. ]

She still sounded like a wonderful woman, though - the kind that my Grandpa wouldn't mind spending time with.

[He munches on more delicious fish before he receives a nudge from his Lucario.] Wha?

Who is he? [Soft Steel nods to Tendou.]

--Oh, yeah; what's your name? Softy--Soft Steel here--wants to know.

[ Tendou points towards the sky ]

[ Then to the shining sun ]

My name is Tendou Souji.

"Path of Heaven"...? I've never heard of that kind of path before. It sounds pretty cool, though.

I'm Suzuki Right. You've already met Soft Steel, and that's Usopp and Osoi. [He gestures to his Lucario, Starly, and Slowpoke, respectfully.]

Suzuki. [ He nods in acknowledgement before pulling out his Warp Band, calling his one Pokemon to his side. ]

This is my friend, Kagami.

[lunchleader]

Nice to meet you, Kagami! How long have you two been friends?

[Right finishes off the presented plate, puts it on the other two empty plates on the table...and reaches for a fourth one loaded with grilled veggies on a stick.]

I met him a few years back when I was still living in Caldera.

[ This guy sure ate a lot. That was good, probably. ]

Enjoy yourself, Suzuki. If you need me, I'm going back to manning the grill.

Caldera, huh? Didn't know Honedges hang out around there.

And I'll probably drop by to get some more. Your cooking's some of the best I've ever had!

[ Tendou waves goodbye as he trots back to his grill, where something of a small crowd had formed. Apparently he was getting pretty famous on this corner of the beach, and no wonder, he was fairly certain he was the best cook here by a pretty significant margin. ]
