So Elicchi says that we need to step up our game if we're gonna keep up with all the contestants and other idols out there. I think we need to go have a master course with some pros. What do you say?
[ACTION | OTA]
[ The Liepard Lounge, the newly opened dance hall and self-proclaimed "classy establishment," located in the heart of the Theater District, was hopping that night. Boasting music that was much different from the typical fair offered by the other ball rooms around town, a new dance craze was beginning to take shape there.
The floors were packed with people, with dancing going well into the early morning. Beginners and seasoned dancers were welcome, and there were plenty of dancers willing to teach anyone looking to learn. Supposedly the Liepard Lounge was an 18+ establishment, but the bouncer seemed relatively lax on that, so long as the minors agreed not to do anything they weren't supposed to.
"Not supposed to" was left open to interpretation. ]

The young idol in training is definitely looking more than a little overwhelmed and very much like a Finneon out of water, her mind awash with all of these thoughts as she watches the display.]

Nya! Nerves, get away from my Ka~yo~chin~!
[She's helping or at least trying her best to help her girlfriend.]

[Hanayo's already feeling nervous and out of her element, so she lets out a loud squeal when Rin surprises her. She realizes who it is quickly enough, though, and lets out a long sigh as she tries to get her breathing under control.]
Rin... you surprised me.
no subject
[Rin squeezes her a little more, placing her chin on Hanayo's shoulder as she watches the dance floor in front of them.]
It's kinda my fault I left you here nya. Hugs help ease nerves, right? Not to worry because Rin is here and she won't leave you alone again!
no subject
It's okay... I'm just not sure how to get started. This dancing is so fast.
no subject
[She hums along with the music, her feet sometimes tapping along to the beat.]
We can just take it slow and then pick it up when you feel comfortable... Or we could slow dance for the night!
no subject
[Hanayo isn't moving quite as much as Rin, but she does try to tap along with it a little.]
Do you think you could show me the steps you've learned so far? Maybe we can go slow at first and then speed up as we go...
no subject
[She jumps before pulling herself away to move in front of Hanayo, taking her hands while her expression is clearly excited and beaming.]
First things first! No nerves and formalities on the dance floor! It's okay to let your body loose, punch and kick the air as much as you want with this dancing!
[A nod, her feet are really moving in place with the beat.]
Just relax and let me know when you are ready. I'm here after all!
no subject
Okay... so we start by swaying like this, right?
[She starts moving back and forth, though her posture is still a little rigid. Rin's going to have to help her loosen up.]
no subject
[Rin mimics the swaying, only more loose and relaxed compared to Hanayo's. Her feet making some simple steps to match with the swaying, it's a start.]
You are pretty stiff still, so just relax! Try not to think too hard on messing up or anything.
no subject
[She takes a deep breath, trying to force her muscles to relax a bit. It does seem to be working, as she steps along with Rin, trying to follow the dance.]
Is that better?
no subject
[Progress is progress, even by little steps! Rin repeats the steps in a pattern so Hanayo can help remember them before picking up the pace.]
Don't worry, we won't get quick into jumping around and going fast like everyone else.
no subject
[Hanayo's looking over at a couple doing that thing where both people lift up their arms while still holding hands and spin at the same time.]

[oh god what's happening]

[Even though she says that, she's still doing her best to try. Hanayo knows by now that whining doesn't get far with Eli. She's not the most graceful dancer, though, even with routines she's practiced a lot - Hanayo's special talent has always been singing harmonies. Hopefully the older girl was prepared for having her feet stepped on.]
no subject
[Either Hanayo is getting accustomed to the steps or Eli is slowing down a bit because it's starting to become a bit more manageable. A bit.]
no subject
I-it's getting a little easier... the steps aren't hard, just really fast.

[UP TEMPO ENGAGE]
no subject
[Hanayo doesn't do well with surprises, stumbling into the spin and stepping on Eli's foot as she crashes into her.]
no subject
Careful!
no subject
[She scarcely has time to get the full apology out before she's dipped, though, and it's cut off with a loud squeak.]
no subject
[She'll pull Hanayo up and go back into a more neutral position to allow her to catch her breath. She looks like she may be having a bit more fun with this than a nice person really ought to, judging by her expression]
no subject
[Thank goodness for that little break. Hanayo definitely needs it. This will all be good for her development as an idol in the long run, even if she feels completely overwhelmed right now.]
You really love dancing, don't you, Eli?
