So Elicchi says that we need to step up our game if we're gonna keep up with all the contestants and other idols out there. I think we need to go have a master course with some pros. What do you say?
[ACTION | OTA]
[ The Liepard Lounge, the newly opened dance hall and self-proclaimed "classy establishment," located in the heart of the Theater District, was hopping that night. Boasting music that was much different from the typical fair offered by the other ball rooms around town, a new dance craze was beginning to take shape there.
The floors were packed with people, with dancing going well into the early morning. Beginners and seasoned dancers were welcome, and there were plenty of dancers willing to teach anyone looking to learn. Supposedly the Liepard Lounge was an 18+ establishment, but the bouncer seemed relatively lax on that, so long as the minors agreed not to do anything they weren't supposed to.
"Not supposed to" was left open to interpretation. ]

[What he found at the front of the crowd was very interesting. He grinned, preferring to watch than try, but he'd be pretty bad at saying know if someone wanted to encourage him.]

Catching Eiji there, which was more than a bit of a surprise, she gives him something of a wave, a bit of hair from her brow. ]
God, I'm sorry for the tl;dr...
[His recent lifestyle hadn't really let him keep on top of everything, though. The last time he went to any kind of a party was for Lux's birthday, and the money that he'd used to spend on clothes and drinking was all carefully saved up for food and supplies to keep him safe on the road. Later, he kept telling himself. He could think about clothes and parties after everything was taken care of.]
[He was sneaking into the city to restock just past midnight when he heard the music -- bright and quick and energetic, not quite like anything he'd heard before.]
[Somehow, it beckoned him in. The sound of the band, the sight of the dancing -- it made him forget that he was surrounded by strangers, made him forget that he was still in his well-worn adventuring clothes. Fai would have loved the chaos of the new dance, the short skirts and the fast music and the shameless physicality of it. And it hurt to think about, the same as it hard hurt for months and months, but for a change, Feliks found himself able to spare a thought for how much he liked it all.]
[For what felt an awful lot like the first time he could remember, he wanted something he could actually have.]
[His previous errand quite forgotten, he stood near the edge of the dance floor and spent several songs just watching, taking in the steps and the rhythm with a hungry, intense sort of curiosity. He definitely wanted to give it a try...]

The young idol in training is definitely looking more than a little overwhelmed and very much like a Finneon out of water, her mind awash with all of these thoughts as she watches the display.]

Nya! Nerves, get away from my Ka~yo~chin~!
[She's helping or at least trying her best to help her girlfriend.]

[Hanayo's already feeling nervous and out of her element, so she lets out a loud squeal when Rin surprises her. She realizes who it is quickly enough, though, and lets out a long sigh as she tries to get her breathing under control.]
Rin... you surprised me.

[Rin squeezes her a little more, placing her chin on Hanayo's shoulder as she watches the dance floor in front of them.]
It's kinda my fault I left you here nya. Hugs help ease nerves, right? Not to worry because Rin is here and she won't leave you alone again!

It's okay... I'm just not sure how to get started. This dancing is so fast.

[She hums along with the music, her feet sometimes tapping along to the beat.]
We can just take it slow and then pick it up when you feel comfortable... Or we could slow dance for the night!

[Even though she says that, she's still doing her best to try. Hanayo knows by now that whining doesn't get far with Eli. She's not the most graceful dancer, though, even with routines she's practiced a lot - Hanayo's special talent has always been singing harmonies. Hopefully the older girl was prepared for having her feet stepped on.]

Here she comes, right on schedule, checking out the new dance styles before meandering to the refreshments and ordering herself a cocktail. The Vulpix accompanying her also takes a look around, although while Haruka mostly looks idly amused, Vulpix looks....patronizing. The humans are attempting some sort of odd cultural phenomenon. How quaint.
She sits and watches while Haruka leans against the bar, swirling a drink in her hand without sipping from it. She's looking especially dapper tonight in a smoking jacket, and any woman who makes eye contact with her will get a grin and a toast. Here's to you, trying new things.
Maybe she'll ask for the next dance. ]

You're looking dapper as usual tonight.

[ She's not sure what she thinks of it yet. ]

[ Never mind that Rise's also the lead...
Vulpix rearranges herself and snorts. Dull. All of it, dull. ] Pix.

Feeling her hand, Nozomi expected to be walked out; she did not, however, expect to be spun, and it took her a few beats to get her footing. She wasn't the quick study that Eli was, so Nozomi might need a bit of an extra push to get the quick steps down. ]

It was actually really fun, once she got into a rhythm. ]

Which is why he's hanging out here. He was content to hang out by the bar (fake IDs are handy for that), but somehow the tide of people has pulled him AWAY from that relative safety and out on to the dance floor next to YOU, unknown thread partner.
He can dance quite well, actually, but being thrown out to the metaphorical mightyenas has left him off balance. Give him a hand, or flounder awkwardly with him until he figures it out himself?]

[For the moment, she's sticking to the bar (and non-alcoholic drinks) and getting a feel for the new trend before she works on learning it and/or dragging Asemu out here.]
Man, maybe I'm missing something, but going around that fast with a boy kinda defeats the point, doesn't it?
[She observes to whoever else looks interested, anyway.]
