[Sinbad had made his way to the habitat - not only with the familiar shape of Badr wrapped around his shoulders and Vepar in a fish bowl, but two more pokemon following after him like newly hatched Duckletts - a Growlithe and an Eevee. Once inside, he lowers the bowl into a pond, letting the Magikarp swim out]

All right, Furfur, Valefor - this is the Habitat, while you'll live with me - this is a place you can head to if you want to play with other Pokemon or relax.

So many smells! Oh! I bet there's some good fighters here!

You don't need to prove yourself to anyone, I know you're a tough girl. Feel free to run around and play, but be nice. No fighting.

[A faint hint of amusement in his tone, Ceilto signs off with a chuckle. ...If Sinbad does indeed show up at the Seekers HQ within the next half hour or so, he'll find Ceilto lounging in a comfy chair.]

[Sinbad does show up, it's too early to screw off, especially if he doesn't have quite a fix on the guy's mannerisms yet]

[Ceilto smiles innocently as he rolls his chair out and holds up a sheet of paper.]

Here you are. I forgot to ask you to sign the liability waiver before you left the other day.

[Yeah, that would important. Sinbad took the sheet, and despite the obvious reluctance he shown towards paperwork, he actually took the time to read every single word before he signed]

[Ceilto gives it a cursory examination before tossing it haphazardly into one of the piles on his desk.]

Well, look at that. All clear. Excellent work, recruit; you'll be an asset to us yet.

[Ceilto pushes his chair back and slides over to a board, flicking it with his hand so it spins around for a few moments.]

[He watches the board spin, looking between Ceilto and it, scrutinizing his face for his intentions before seeing where it stopped]

[It stops... while lying flat horizontally so nothing is visible at all. Ceilto sighs and spins it another half-rotation.]

The red's are unknown areas, am I correct?

The reds are big old collapsing buildings that no one will cop to building, so we assume they're from a bygone era. ...Or they're modern and no one wants to pay the fees, one or the other.

[Ceilto scootches back to his desk.]

Yeah, I thought about it since they announced the recruitment drive... Some time ago? But I felt like if I want make things better, the more I learn, the better it'd be.

And to better understand the people and pokemon that live now, culture is pretty much the continuation of history, they behave and act in a way because of tradition, and better you understand that - the better you can understand someone's point of view.
