[The video feed is bouncing around and actually rather dizzying to watch, but there's a periodic view of a one Talonflame shifter perched in a tree not too far from Hikawa Shrine. After a while his voice filters to the Warp Band, and the video settles and moves closer.]

[Another moment of dizzying motion and the feed shifts to show Fluff, Ankh's Sylveon, proudly perched on his lap. He rolls his eyes.]

I take the time to get back in a tree and you're immediately stealing my shit. You little klepto.

[Except there's only fondness in his tone, which is possibly strange to hear.]

Ah. I'm looking for someone named Souda. Can someone tell me where to find him? I may have work for him.

[You know. In most cases, people would have expected Eiji to come running out and mom or scold the hell out of Ankh for trying to climb a tree. That was actually not the case. It had been nearly two months and Ankh was healed well enough. For all his concern over his friend's well being he also knew that he just needed to do these kinds of things on his own.]

[So he let him.]

[He watched him struggled up that damn tree for almost an hour and then when he was perched, that's when he decided to walk out.]

[Fluff trills and headbutts Ankh's hand and then jumps down to make a figure-eight around Eiji's ankles. Ankh, in the meantime, affords Eiji a crooked smile.]

The lucky thing about getting down is that I have wings that work much better than my arms.

[He bends down to pet Fluff for a moment before looking up at Ankh.]

[And he tosses him something small wrapped in paper.]

[What is your strange fascination with giving him things. He shifts, sitting forward to put a wing out in case he doesn't catch the parcel, but manages to catch it with his good hand.]

[He tilts his head and sets it in his lap, fussing with it for a minute before managing to get it open. He picks it up and sniffs at it, and then takes a cautious bite.]

I'm glad! I've had something similar when I visited Caldera last, so I'm very happy to see a stand here in Union. When you're done in the tree I can take you there.
