video or action for theater
[screen flickers on, showing an intense looking Michiru who's...wearing a bathrobe, a towel around her head, and looking kinda damp. She also has a wet Bidoof by the scruff, held close to the camera and as far away from her body as possible. Judging by that uneven blinking, Bidoof might be shaking off the last vestiges of a sudden KO.]
Is anybody looking for a side job? I'll pay you to babysit this one, by the hour, for as many hours as you'd like.
[Bidoof wiggles, swinging a bit from Michiru's steely grip.] Doof.
[Michiru's smile could probably kill, if she put a little bit more effort into it.]

[ Not with anyone cheeky enough to think they have a chance. Certainly not anyone with buckteeth and a bubble butt tail. ]

Back in the bathroom, Brad sneezes the towels right off and...oh hey. It's day again!]
no subject
....oh dear. Who's going to watch the baby while they're away? Or should they take the baby? Decisions. Haruka's hands slow. ]
no subject
...baby (babies) probably won't come along if the area is known to be high level. Probably.]
no subject
Her hearing's on high alert right now, too, and she continues to work all of Michiru's hair through the towel. ] Who should we bring?
no subject
Hm.] Martelé.
[they might want to diversify their profile, though. Also, there might be a dull sort of crashing sound coming from the direction of the bathroom. Someone might be bashing their furry skull against the door.]
no subject
[ Thinking about what they're likely to encounter... ] A couple birds for scouting.
[ They'll probably run into a lot of Water-types, though. But her Grass-types are a young Petilil and Natto. And as for other super-effective Pokémon...um...
...Gold.... ]
no subject
[though if you're bringing your Lapras, that frees up a spot or two.] Lulu.
[the bashing sound continues without pause until it just...suddenly stops.]

[ And three is all she wrote when you're a God of War, even if all you get for your fancy third type is unreliable psychic powers that mostly just make you sound cool and look troubled. Maybe they'll come in handy and warn her if she happens to place herself in view of that door... ]

Carol, then. [geez, her roster has a lot of Water types.] ...Vivace. [Fire type, but otherwise it would've been Melody.
There isn't any pitter patter of tiny doof feet yet. Maybe he got lost.]
no subject
....They need this trip. She's paranoid about beavers. ] And the bug can watch the kids.
[ Natto is a bit much when he babysits Minuet, frankly, but at least he's conscientious. He makes her a little bed out of the fabric in the costume room so he can be by her side at all times. ]

I'll ask Stradivarius to help out. [which should balance things out. And Michiru's quickly getting dressed and digging out her travel clothes.
That's a really odd thump from next door.]
no subject
Haruka strides to the closet and starts pulling out jackets, getting her own necessities together. This room is no longer safe. ]
no subject
There's a frustrated noise as she sets aside her pack and pulls on her boots. This is...patently ridiculous. They're running away from a Bidoof.
But when it sounds like Brad is trying to scratch his way through the wall, she really can't admit that she'd like to stay here and deal with him.]
no subject
One mental nudge through the theater sends Natto to the storeroom - she'd meant for it to be "get ready to babysit", but apparently he knows what that implies by now - and another summons a mighty galumphing of uncoordinated paws to the room whence the scratching can be heard. Hello!!!! What are you doing there, Bidoof? Can he help?! ] Jolt jolteon!!!
[ Haruka smirks. That should hold Brad at bay for a while. ]
no subject
[Michiru looks up as the scratching stops. She might have been able to pick out Gold's excited barks if they hadn't probably chosen a room with thick walls.]
no subject
Oh, no! Something happened to the wall! ] Eeee!
[ Haruka snorts, attuned to the sound of her Jolteon's voice (it usually spells trouble.) She tilts her head towards the hallway. Ready when you are. ]
no subject
Michiru nods, getting up and slinging her pack over her shoulder. Let's go.]
no subject
[ Haruka leads the way out of the door. They'll rendezvous with Natto for the last few instructions and then be on their way.
From the look on her face, you'd think they were heading out to battle the Enhanced again. ]
no subject
Meanwhile, Michiru follows silently, closing their door as quietly as possible.]
no subject
[ ....Just keep talking, Gold. Haruka is swift and silent. ]
no subject
.....then he pauses, staring blankly at the direction Michiru had snuck off to. His nose twitches.] Doof.
[Michiru feels a shiver run down her spine, and walks a little faster.]
no subject
Yeah, yeah. [ Haruka shoulders the pack, and finds herself hampered further by Natto's insistence that he has to stick a good-luck leaf to it. And he made a whole corsage for Trainer's Trainer! Here!
Gold, meanwhile, is confused. What's this way? ] Jolt?
no subject
Doof doof. [Brad unerringly makes his way towards them - even if it means walking straight into a wall and kinda sliding his face across it as he keeps walking.]
no subject
Gold smashes his own face against the wall and slides along behind Brad, still trying to get his attention. ] Jolteon jol jol!
[ Natto waves farewell. Haruka gets the door, holding it open. Michiru first. Above all else, they have to get Michiru out of here before Brad can spot her. ]
