Pantsu Part 10: A Helping Hand [video]

[Someone is playing with a certain scaly vagabond's warp band when the feed comes on. There's an echoed giggle and the band sort of bobs up and down like it's being made to float. For a second you get a screen full of Pumpkaboo. Looks like Eclair decided to get a little mischievous today like she's ever not.]

[Eiji is off in the distance a bit, sitting on top of a great big Mamoswine. He appears to be strapping a bunch of building supplies and other useful things to him to transport them to the other side of town.]

There you go, Gamel. We've still got a lot of work to do, but things are really coming along!

[He pulls on a strap to make sure it's secure. He's in the process of checking another- unlooping it and relooping it when he continues:]

When we're done here, we'll have a big dinner for all your heard work, okay? I-- Waugh!

[Gamel lifts his head in a very abrupt way. Clearly the mention of food got his attention more than anything else. FOOD??? THERE IS FOOD? WHERE IS THE FOOD?????? He takes off running with Eiji haphazardly trying to cling on for dear life. ]

GaaAAAAMMMEEEELLL!!!

[LOOK OUT UNION THERE IS AN ELEPHANT LOOKING FOR FOOD. Eiji would just leap off and fly to safety but he's stuck holding the straps down so they don't lose all their supplies. HELP? ]

[Well that Manoswine certainly caught the attention of someone from the Swords]

Whoa-! Slow down!

[Ky called out before he realized the person hanging on wasn't in control and starts to bolt after with a Venusaur and Ampharos following after]

Jacob! Lasso the Manoswine, Isaac and I will try to get the rider.

[The Venusaur gave him a strange look before lashing out with is vines, trying to wrap around the tusks]

[Gamel was so focused on food that the vines make their mark easily. He rears up in alarm causing Eiji to nearly fall off the Pokemon entirely. Some of their supplies falls loose in the process, but Eiji is nothing if not stubborn. He manages to hang on and keep the belts in place despite the bucking pokemon.]

[Gamel meanwhile is just really confused as to why something is interrupting his hunt for delicious.]

[He winces, that's far rougher then he meant for it to happen, but it seem to do the trick in slowing the tusked pokemon as he runs over, the Ampharos moving to pick up the fallen supplies]

Sorry, I didn't think about the backlash. Think you can get his attention while he's tied up?

[Hopefully nothing is broken, which is what Eiji is most worried about.]

Mm! Thank you for your help! [ He takes that moment to try and get the belts secured so he can slide off his pokemon, to wheel around in front of him. He uses his wings to look a little bigger than he actually and raises a hand up.]

[The way Eiji communicates with pokemon isn't quite like how a shifter does it, rather its much more empathetic. There are a few quiet meaningful stares before Gamel is calming down. Eiji sighs with relief and pats his nose.]

[Once the Ampharos picked up everything it could - he trots over to offer it to the human., Once Gamel is calmed down, the Venusaur lets go, rubbing his vines together, murmuring a complaint]
