Pantsu Part 10: A Helping Hand [video]

[Someone is playing with a certain scaly vagabond's warp band when the feed comes on. There's an echoed giggle and the band sort of bobs up and down like it's being made to float. For a second you get a screen full of Pumpkaboo. Looks like Eclair decided to get a little mischievous today like she's ever not.]

[Eiji is off in the distance a bit, sitting on top of a great big Mamoswine. He appears to be strapping a bunch of building supplies and other useful things to him to transport them to the other side of town.]

There you go, Gamel. We've still got a lot of work to do, but things are really coming along!

[He pulls on a strap to make sure it's secure. He's in the process of checking another- unlooping it and relooping it when he continues:]

When we're done here, we'll have a big dinner for all your heard work, okay? I-- Waugh!

[Gamel lifts his head in a very abrupt way. Clearly the mention of food got his attention more than anything else. FOOD??? THERE IS FOOD? WHERE IS THE FOOD?????? He takes off running with Eiji haphazardly trying to cling on for dear life. ]

GaaAAAAMMMEEEELLL!!!

[LOOK OUT UNION THERE IS AN ELEPHANT LOOKING FOR FOOD. Eiji would just leap off and fly to safety but he's stuck holding the straps down so they don't lose all their supplies. HELP? ]

[He smiles and climbs up part-ways on Gamel. He twists so he can offer his hand to Ankh.]

It's on the other side of town but Gamel will get us there at a good pace.

[They can take their time if you want to just enjoy the ride.]

[His brows furrow as he realizes that he literally can't just swat Eiji's hand away and climb up on his own. For a moment, it even looks like he might refuse, from the look on his face, until he tsks and takes a rough hold of Eiji's wrist to hoist himself up. It's not like he weighs a damn bit of anything, anyway.]

[It takes him a minute to settle properly sitting behind him on Gamel, and his wings puff up while he wiggles.]

...so much easier to just fly.

[He waits patiently for him to take his hand before helping him up behind him.]

[He let's him get situated before he's nudging Gamel with his heel. They head off at a slow pace down the street.]

Maybe, but there's nothing wrong with taking it slow. You see more that way.

[Grumble grumble grumble. He folds his wings around himself so he basically just looks like a big pair of feathered wings and a head attached to Eiji's back, but wastes no time in setting his chin on Eiji's shoulder.]

...never as much as you can see from the sky.
