[ Maki's at her piano today, tucking her hair behind her ear as she starts. ]

I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

S-So! If anyone is any good at writing lyrics or poetry or something, I'd let you work with me. Just get in touch with me, the sooner the better.



[To μ's:]

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

[ It was all purely Maki's decision, she hasn't told a soul why she did it. ]

Y-Yeah. I didn't think it was right, being with her if...

[ She wants to say that Nozomi wouldn't want to hear about all her problems but, she is starting to realize that as her friend, Nozomi actually would want to hear. But this is so difficult to admit! ]

...if I really wanted to be... with Nico.

Y-You can't tell anyone that!!

[ That changed more than a few things, not that Nozomi would ever tell Makki that. It wasn't her place to move pieces in that way; it would be like exploiting her powers, and she didn't like the idea of hurting others, even if accidentally.

Still, if she came to that conclusion on her own...

Nozomi winked a bit at the camera. ]

Don't worry, I won't.

Are you gonna tell Nicocchi, or let her figure it out herself?

[ It's the first time Maki's ever admitted out loud that she has feelings for Nico. What makes it worse somehow is that she knows Nico has feelings for her, but how can she do anything if Nico told her in confidence, thinking she was just another Purrloin and not Maki herself. ]

I doubt she'll be able to figure it out herself, so I'll have to tell her.

[ Nozomi sighs a bit, putting on a motherly smile. If it were any other situation, she would tell her that she was being silly, tease her, and maybe even push her into it a little bit. But this was different, and, really, it wasn't her place to meddle at this point. ]

You don't give her enough credit, you know.

Besides, you don't need to rush. Let yourself get over Chie first.

[ Maki almost expects Nozomi to do any and/or all of those things, now that she actually admitted her feelings to someone. But she's kind of thankful to have Nozomi just being on her side. ]

I already know she likes me, I'm just waiting for her to realize that I like her too!

[ But she can't tell her. The mention of Chie makes her frown though, because it's true, she does still hurt about that. ]

Yeah... I just want to sing right now...w-with everyone. You're going to come, right?

[ In that case, you might be waiting a while... You know, there's nothing wrong with giving her a big, obvious hint. ]

[ She will try! But there's little knowing if it will work, and Maki isn't the time to have a lot of confidence when it comes to these matters. ]

I don't know. But you're a part of this now too. So don't think you can skip practice!

I don't think Elicchi would let me even if I wanted to.

[ Oh right. That must be tough. ]

Sometimes I really don't envy you...

[ She totally knows what you mean, Makki. She doesn't agree, but she knows what you mean. ]

[ Don't give her that smile Nozomi! Maki is way too embarrassed to explain correctly. ]

Y-You know why! I'd be afraid if I were dating Eli and did something to upset her... [ And yet she picked the most easily upset-able girl among them. ]

[ She sounds pretty sure about that, buuuuuut. ]

[ Maki is surprised about that. If she were actually dating Nico could they even stop fighting? ]

[ That woman puts the fear of the Savior into her, what do you expect. ]

It's not smart to make Elicchi angry.

[ She puts the fear into everyone in the group! ]

I-I figured that.

[ You do not know the true face of fear, Makki. ]

So you need help with lyrics, huh? Do we get to hear what you've got so far?

[ That's true. Not yet anyway. ]

Um...I really don't think mine are any good... You definitely don't want to hear what I came up with. I can show you the melody though.
